If I could give more than 5 stars I would! I had the best experience finding my perfect wedding gown with Allegria Bridal. Barb knew EXACTLY what I was looking for and was able to find me the most stunning dress and I even canceled another bridal shop appointment I had as a backup because I knew she found me the one. The process was stress free and easy because of Barb and Allegria Bridal and they are the reason I felt so beautiful on my wedding day. Barb let me try on as many dresses as I wanted and I did not feel pressured to purchase that day if I did not want to. My mom was with me and even mentioned how easy and fun the process was and she knew instantly Barb had helped me find the perfect dress. I even used them for gown cleaning and preservation after. I also went with their alteration services and Luciane of Boston was amazing to work with! The process was stress free and I enjoyed every appointment with Luciane. She scheduled as many appointments as we felt were best and even created a video for my train for my matron of honor. Luciane made the perfect alterations and my dress fit like a dream. I can't say enough great things about Barb and Allegria Bridal and Luciane of Boston. They contributed to my wedding day being so perfect and I highly recommend them!

I had an awesome experience getting my wedding gown from Allegria Bridal! It was the first bridal boutique I went to and I went there with the intention of just trying on some different styles to see what I liked. I even told my mom to make sure I didn't get pressured into buying a dress that day. But I ended up falling in love with one of the dresses I tried on and decided to say YES! We worked with Kristin and she was lovely. She let me try on as many dresses as I wanted and didn't pressure me into buying one that day. She was also really helpful suggesting accessories / customizations to the dress (I ended up adding a custom bow to the back of my dress, as well as a belt). We also had the whole place to ourselves during our time slot on a Saturday. The dress came in earlier than anticipated and it was perfect! I also worked with a seamstress associated with Allegria Bridal for my alterations - Luciane of Boston. She was WONDERFUL! We had 4 separate appointments to make sure my dress fit perfectly for the big day. She explained a lot to us throughout the process and did a full tutorial for my matron of honor about how to bustle the dress (quite complicated)! She's not inexpensive, but I think it's totally worth it! Feeling like the most beautiful bride is priceless! I would highly recommend Allegria if you want a personalized experience where you're made to feel as special as you should be when you're the bride!

I had the best experience with Allegria Bridal in choosing my wedding gown. The service was impeccable from the second I entered the store, all the way through the weeks leading up to my wedding. Barb and her team are highly knowledgeable, thoughtful, friendly, and accommodating. They provide a space with zero pressure, which makes it all the more exciting and fun when trying on wedding dresses. I couldn't recommend this place more highly for a bride-to-be!

Allegria was a wonderful experience to find my wedding gown a few days ago! Compared to other stores, it was so much easier to focus here as we were the only party in the store at the time of my appointment. The staff let me try on as many dresses as I could find in the store, and were so knowledgeable about adjustments that could be made to each style. My one piece of constructive feedback is that the inventory here is on the smaller side. For me, it was incredible because I knew what I was looking for, but for a bride who wants a very wide selection of styles and designers, this could be a drawback. All in all, I'd suggest this to anyone who wants an attentive, quiet experience while shopping (and already have suggested this store to multiple people in the 2 days since going)

Allegria Bridal was a lovely place to find a wedding dress. They were so helpful in suggesting dresses, in ensuring that the trying-on showed each dress to its best ability, and in providing information and updates on the order! My dress was absolutely stunning, and I very much appreciate their help in finding it. The seamstress, Luciane, was efficient, honest, and extremely good at her work; I looked and felt like a princess in my perfectly-fitted wedding gown! Thank you so much for all of your efforts!

The staff at Allegria, including Barb, Gigi, and especially Luciane, were so wonderful to work with. I had been to several Boston bridal boutiques before our appointment at Allegria, but was actually enchanted with several of their dresses during the visit! They have a wonderful selection of timeless style dresses. The one I selected I am so pleased with, and wish I could wear it again! The fabric quality, the selection of the accessories they had to style it with, the top quality of the alteration services available on-site, and the service of all who worked with us make this a boutique I strongly recommend to brides in the Boston area. Had we not had two west coast bridesmaids who would not be able to travel to try on dresses, we would have also likely chosen bridesmaid dresses there, as they had a beautiful selection as well! Review for seamstress Luciane: 5 stars! Before my first appointment, I actually rescheduled it for a month earlier because I was so nervous that the alterations I would need would not be possible. I was even considering buying a new dress! My dress straps were too tight, and with the bodice sitting at my waist where it should be with longer straps, the neckline was too low. Plus the dress was made for a smaller bust than I had, so many changes were needed to get it to properly fit me. However, at the appointment, my nerves were immediately eased by how professional Luciane is and how smoothly the appointment went! She reassured me that the dress could be made to fit me, no problem. Ultimately, she raised the neckline of my dress, lengthened straps, added boning, took the skirt in as much as she could to accent my booty (even though the dress wasn't structurally a mermaid fit), and did the rest of the normal fittings plus hemming and bustle. She also worked with me to make a cape and attached puff sleeves out of a veil I purchased separately. Luciane saw my vision for the dress and the cape and made them come to life beautifully. She was so kind and helpful and reassuring and professional. You could not go wrong with having her do your wedding dress alterations! Review for Allegra Bridal: 4 stars I first went to Allegria Bridal to try on crepe dresses by Madi Lane, but I wasn't 100% sure about buying by the end of the appointment. Later, I told them I was interested in trying a specific dress by Madi Lane that they didn't carry, and they offered to ask the designer to ship a sample just for me to try! They also had trunk show for the designer that coming weekend, so they worked with us to rush ship the sample so I could get the trunk show discount if I ended up ordering the dress (shipping costs would go toward the cost of ordering too). Well, it was the one! I didn't even know that shipping a specific dress was even an option and I'm so glad that Allegria Bridal offered it. One complaint is that the boutique did not notify me when my dress arrived at the shop. I had to inquire on my own and I could have used the extra month or two to try on the dress with accessories. I also happened to buy extra fabric for custom accessories, but the alterations I ended up needing 100% required the extra fabric. I wish the stylist had recommended buying the fabric specifically for alterations, especially since I would not have had much time to order the fabric once alterations began.

Had an absolutely phenomenal experience with Allegria. Julie helped me pick my dream dress (she was so patient and truly helped me to pick the one that was perfect for me) and she also assisted in selecting our bridesmaids dresses. She made the whole process fun and stress-free! Luciane did my alterations and she is also just wonderful - such a sweet woman and ensured that my dress fit perfectly and that I was happy! It fit like a glove and felt confident in it!

This review is for Luciane, one of the seamstresses that works out of Allegria. While I didn't get my dress at the shop, I decided to go to Luciane because I had read such great reviews about her, and those reviews didn't disappoint. She's not only incredibly talented and has an excellent eye for what needs to be done, she's also so kind and patient. I felt a little nervous and dizzy at one of my visits after asking Luciane to remove some of my dress' petticoat (there was no reason to be nervous, to be clear, it all looked perfect. Just a combo of nerves and not eating breakfast before the appointment). Still, Luciane was so kind and waited with me as I sat down until I felt better, and even brought me water and (very good) chocolate. At my other appointments, my two friends came with me and we all truly had such a good time as Luciane made us feel welcomed and at ease. And most importantly, I couldn't be happier with how my dress turned out. Luciane had to squeeze me in for one additional alteration to take the dress in a little more after losing some weight right before the wedding and she made it so the dress fit perfectly. She really was amazing and I would so highly recommend her!!!

I had a great experience at Allegria. The atmosphere was calm and sophisticated, in contrast to 2 other salons that I went to in Boston that were more hectic and felt less personal. At Allegria, I was able to take my time trying (and re-trying) dresses, and I found the perfect one! I also used Ling for alterations, and although she originally fitted my dress too low on my chest for my preferences, she was so accommodating when I looked at the photos and realized I would like it changed (she let me come in the next day, on her lunch break!). My dress turned out beautifully and I am so happy I found it :)

I unfortunately had a terrible experience getting my dress altered with Ling at Allegria Bridal. I normally don’t spend time writing bad reviews, but this added such an unnecessary stressor to wedding planning - I don’t want someone else to go through it! Note that I *did not* buy my dress at Allegria, so I don’t know what that experience is like - this review is only for the alterations process through Allegria. At my first appointment, Ling pinned my dress according to where she would alter it, but consistently made comments about my body size compared to the size of the dress. I think for most women, this would be pretty discouraging, regardless of having a generally positive self-image. At the end of the appointment, the dress was still not pinned to fit me as I would like, but Ling assured me that with the right sticky bra, it would feel fitted. I believed her and went home to buy practically every sticky bra on the market. At my second appointment, I overheard Ling telling the previous customer that she needed to buy a sticky bra. Spoiler alert: YOU DO NOT NEED TO BUY A STICKY BRA. Your seamstress should be able to fit your dress to you so that there are not gaps. When I tried my dress on, it was still too big, even with every version of sticky bra. I stayed for an hour trying to get Ling to make more adjustments, but she said it was not possible. I went home distressed that my wedding was 2 weeks away with a dress that did not fit. I did end up finding an amazing seamstress (Juliette’s Alterations in Hyde Park/Mattapan area) that was *amazing* and worked with me to make the dress fit me as it should, without a sticky bra, with so much more professionalism and even a much more reasonable cost. Do not waste your money on alterations at Allegria Bridal.

Julie from Allegria was extremely helpful throughout from the initial email exchange, first fitting, to the extended dress/veil storage during COVID times. She is knowledgeable, friendly and not overly pushy - allowing me time as long as needed. Allegria carries a wide range of elegant wedding dresses. (I had visited several bridal salons before this one, I definitely recommend Allegria.) As soon as I put on Legends Romona Kevena, I knew I found my dress (I couldn’t stop smiling). Julie also helped me pick a perfect veil. The veil arrived well before the wedding dress so Allegria held it for me. Then COVID was upon us and I had to try on my dress with a mask - I confessed a blue surgical mask just didn’t go with a wedding dress and a veil!! We decided to postpone so the entire ensemble went into long term preservation for a couple of years. Julie was very responsive to my questions regarding timing to re-try the dress for alteration, etc. She was also very accommodating when I wanted to try on the dress a few months ahead of the schedule - I was afraid it would not fit. Thank Goodness that was not the case and with the help of the local wedding alternation (Lucianne) - the dress and veil were perfect for our wedding. I would highly recommend Allegria and their entire staff. Be guided by them but let them know if you have specific preferences.

I worked with Julie at Allegria and had an awesome experience! She was so patient with me and truly listened to what I was looking for. After trying on a few dresses that I had chosen within the store, she kindly suggested I try on a dress that I likely would not have chosen for myself. I ultimately ended up getting that one! She has tons of experience knew exactly what I was envisioning without me even truly being able to articulate it. Additionally, my fiance and I got married in a short timeframe and they helped me get my dream dress in less than 6 months. I worked with Ling for alterations and she was also incredible! She altered my dress perfectly and was so accommodating.

I came to the salon to buy another dress when I fell out of love with my original one. I was 2 months out and was able to buy one off the rack and snag a 10% discount since it was the sample size. They were very accommodating, communicative and helpful. Their in-house seamstress, Maria, was also on point with the alterations and also very helpful!

Since I was getting married within 6 months, I quickly researched multiple bridal salons. I knew I had a short time frame to find a dress, so it would be ready on time. I asked a couple of friends for their suggestions/tips, and as they recommended, I went to no more than 5 places. Most of the dresses either did not fit my body type or where not my style, which was very frustrating. I reached out to Allegria based on reviews I found. Within a few hours of contacting them, they booked an appointment that worked with my schedule. They were the 5th and final place! Once I was there, Barb made me feel so welcome and at ease. There was no pressure to find a specific style, but rather she listened when I mentioned what I did and did not like. I tried on 4 dresses and the second dress turned out to be the ONE! The minute I tried it on I felt so comfortable and so much like myself in the dress. It was a simple silhouette, off-the-shoulder, with beautiful beading down the back. I wanted just a touch of embellishment/embroidery and Barb help me select the perfect belt that accented the dress. I also really enjoyed working with Lucia, the seamstress recommended by Allegria. I had three different fittings and she was able to make tailor the shoulders, neckline and an easy-to-assemble, beautiful bustle. Whenever I had a questions, whether by email or phone, they responded within a day or two. I appreciate their professionalism, great communication, and most of all helping me select my wedding dress.

I owe my life and sanity to Julie, one of the senior bridal consultants and Ling, the seamstress. My wedding was in Sept 2021, and I originally purchased my wedding gown elsewhere in Sept 2020. Original boutique kept pushing back my fitting because they didn't have my dress ... all of a sudden it's 2 weeks from my wedding and still no dress. You can only imagine the sheer horror and panic I went into. Being a size 2 in wedding gowns, there was very little chance of me finding a last minute sample. Julie let me know they had a size 6 Madi Lane sample. She let me come in immediately to try it on, take a few pics, and think about it. I ended up purchasing it, and Julie / Ling had me in for my fitting less than 48 hours later. Ling spent almost 2 hours with me, making sure it was cut down enough, even adding in a custom edit to the back of the gown. I was so emotional after being scammed - I couldn't believe how well she treated me. Even though it was a last minute sample dress, she made me feel like a princess - not to mention she is a MASTER at her job. She even added boning to the gown so that it laid flat and didn't crease. I also kept losing weight (stress!!) and had to have it taken in a few more times which I felt bad about it, but Ling was a true professional and didn't complain even with the tight timeline. My only regret is not buying from Allegria to begin with. This place deserves more than 5 stars. They really care about their brides, and I am so thankful they saved the day.

Allegria Bridal is the best! Barb was so sweet and accommodating from the start. She helped me to find the perfect dress! I was supposed to be married in 2020 so she helped me to preserve my dress as well for a full year. I was a bit nervous but it all went very smoothly and my dress was still stunning in 2021! The color was the exact same a year later. Barb even answered my mom's call on her personal cell one Saturday because we had an urgent question related to altering my wedding dress - she is the BEST! I also worked with Luciane, the seamstress Barb recommended, and she is AMAZING! The dress fit me so perfectly! Many people said the top of the dress looked painted on my body - that is how well it fit me :). I loved everyone I worked with here!! They will not disappoint.

I bought my dress yesterday at Allegria and Julie was great and so patient. I was rebounding from a terrible dress experience. They were very empathetic and so helpful. They really know their dresses and know what they are doing!

Barbara is the best!!! She made shopping for my wedding dress an absolute dream. Prior to going to Allegria, I had been to 5 bridal shops without any luck (I'll admit, I am picky haha) and was actually feeling very discouraged. Then I walked into Allegria and met Barbara and everything changed! She was able to understand what I was envisioning while providing advice and she picked out the most beautiful dress!!! It had the perfect amount of detail, it was lightweight and easy to walk/dance in, it hit me in all the right places, it was just magical. Allegria has the best and most elegant dress selection and I am so grateful for them!! This is the place to go!!

Julie was fantastic and so patient with me! I am very indecisive …I came to Allegria first, but want ready to commit yet…after many many more shops and even more dresses I found myself coming back to Allegria weeks later to pull the trigger on the first dress I ended up liking. Julie was great at helping me through the process and envision what the dress could look like with some alterations. The seamstress they work with Luciane is also amazing and worked wonders with my dress going above and beyond - she is so talented! Highly recommend!

As soon as someone I know gets engaged I immediately recommend Allegria Bridal! I attended my initial appointment with my mom and worked with Julie, who is absolutely amazing. I didn't really know what I wanted so Julie had me try a bunch of different styles, and really listened to what I liked and disliked about each one. Based on the feedback I was giving, she pulled a dress for me that ended up being THE ONE (yes there were tears!). The alteration process was great too- I worked with Ling who really helped me understand how to bustle the dress (it was kind of complicated-the dress had 2), which was a good thing because I ended up needing a completely random person to do it on my wedding day and I knew exactly what directions to give! Thank you so much for the wonderful experience, Allegria Bridal!

I came home to Boston to shop for a wedding dress for my April 2021 wedding in Los Angeles. I had an image in my mind of exactly how I wanted to look on my wedding day, but I couldn’t quite find it at any of the three salons I visited. Allegria was my last stop, I described to Barb what I wanted, and she nailed it! I was looking for a long-sleeved, lace A-line, and had previously refused to put on a strapless gown. Barb had the vision and creativity to put me in a strapless dress and then show me how the designer could make a long-sleeved bolero to go on top. The gown and bolero ended up absolutely seamless, including the buttons we had added on, and I never could have come up with this piece on my own. Barb went out of her way to make sure I was 100% satisfied and I’m so grateful that I trusted her with my dress. The pictures speak for themselves! I also can’t write this review without mentioning Luciane, the alterations expert! She worked around my schedule (I flew back to the East coast for the alterations process) and accommodated me by having my fittings and completing the alterations all in one week. She is friendly, detail-oriented, and masterful at her craft. Lastly, I’ll note that Barb and the whole Allegria team made the cross-country shipping process so easy—my dress arrived in perfect condition and in plenty of time for my wedding. I’m glad I went to multiple salons because I got to enjoy the experience of trying on dresses, but if I had to recommend one salon to anyone in New England, I’d send them to Allegria!

Allegria Bridal was a superb choice for my daughter’s wedding gown. It was the first place we visited and within 2 weeks, we returned to say “Yes” to the dress. Julie was our consultant and she was exceptional in helping us with the dress as well as a veil and shoulder sleeves. Julie also assisted us with MOB and MOH dresses. We then knew this was the place for the Bridesmaids’ dresses. Barb and a few other assistants helped us with all the details when it came to selection, sizing, and ordering. Luciane was our seamstress, and she was very impressive with her detailed alterations, making our fitting appointments an enjoyable event. We couldn’t have been more pleased with the entire staff from beginning to end. They always made us feel welcomed, and the salon created a great atmosphere for anything bridal. Since we only had a micro wedding in August 2020, we look forward to returning for another fitting prior to the larger celebration in October 2021. Barb was so knowledgeable about bridal gowns that she picked out my dress for me - and it was the second one I tried on. It wasn’t something I had originally thought I’d want, but I trusted her and ended up with the wedding dress of my dreams! She was phenomenal.

I had a wonderful experience at Allegria bridal! They were completely professional, very sweet/kind, didn't make me feel rushed and weren't impatient with me when I was changing back and forth between the same few dresses trying to make my final decision! They were not pushy at all and completely respectful of my budget (even when I ASKED if there was anything a little over they thought I should see, they stayed within my budget). The first dress I tried ended up being my dress and I had overall just a completely wonderful experience. I can be really hard to fit and not a single dress made me feel bad about my body. 10/10 would recommend, cannot say enough good things!

I had a bit of an unusual experience with my dress. I actually found it at a separate salon in a different state but was able to purchase it at Allegria during a trunk show. When the dress came, in the lining was incorrect and the intricate beading was all wrong. Pretty much every bride’s worst nightmare :) Allegria was WONDERFUL. Barb worked directly with the designer to ensure that it was completely remade, and that it was delivered in plenty of time for adjustments and alterations. She also kept in close contact with me while the dress was being remade to give me updates and to help put my mind at ease. Their alterations department was also wonderful. Luciane is a sweetheart and SO talented. My dress turned out amazing!

Ok this review is long overdue but Allegria is hands-down AMAZING! I worked with Julie and from day 1 she helped my vision come to life. When I went into my first appointment I didn't have any intention of buying a dress, however that all changed once I got to the store and saw a dress from the Eve of Milady trunk show. I absolutely loved it but was on the fence as I hadn't tried on many dresses prior to that, and had always thought I'd end up in a different style gown. After several rounds of trying it on, and comparing it to other styles, Julie's honest feedback helped me realize that this indeed was the dress for me! I ended up getting it and am so glad I did, as it really helped but the rest of my wedding "style" into perspective (old world/fine arts). In addition, Julie also helped me pick out my bridesmaids dresses which was not an easy task as I had 4 different styles in 3 different colors and wanted everything to look cohesive cohesive but not too matchy matchy. Julie again knocked it out of the park with her feedback. She paid extreme attention to detail and delivered everything as expected. All ordering and shipping processes all went smoothly. I also did alterations for my gown here and everything came out perfectly tailored as expected. If you're the type of bride that wants honest feedback on style, fit and aesthetic I'd strongly recommend Allegria!

I love Allegria because they are such a stress-free environment. Wedding dress shopping was a really overwhelming thought to me and I honestly ended up feeling calm the whole time I was there and found the perfect dress. They have a great number of dresses that give you tons of options but not so many that your head is spinning from indecision. The salon is really beautiful inside and helps you to feel like a bride. And I love their alterations woman who made my dress fit like a glove!

I went to about 8 different bridal dress stores and continued to strike out. When I stepped foot in Allegria, I knew I would find my dress. It was the second one I tried on and even though it was 2 sizes too small, it felt so right. I wish I remembered the name of the woman who helped me because she was STELLAR. Highly recommend Allegria. Huge selection.

Barb made my time at Allegria amazing! After falling in love with an unexpected dress at an out-of-town trunk show, I found Allegria as one of the area vendors for my desired dress. Not only was Barb able to fit me in shortly after, but she was willing to call the designer and have the dress delivered to Allegria. Keeping me in the loop with this put me at such ease, and Barb was willing to answer all of my questions. When the appointment came along, Barb made my mom and I feel so special with her attention to detail and extensive knowledge on silhouettes and fabrics. We bought the dream dress right then and there. I am so grateful for Barb and Allegria for their fantastic support!

I went to Allegria to purchase my wedding dress and could not have been happier with the process, my dress came in on time and we used Luciane of Boston for our alternations, which was conveniently right under Allegria's salon. Thank you to the Allegria staff for making this such an easy/seamless process!

I have lived in Belmont for the past 25 years I walked by Allegria Bridal almost every day admiring the beautiful dresses displayed in the windows. After browsing in other stores that had nothing appropriate for an older bride, I made an appointment at Allegria. Barb who helped me that day was gracious and lovely. She knew just what I wanted. She led me to the perfect dress that was beautiful and elegant. She has an eye for style and knew what would fit me well. I am so amazingly pleased by my dress and experiences at Allegria. Luciane the seamstress that altered my dress was wonderful, warm and talented. She made me an exquisite shawl out of my excess fabric. My only problem now is how to alter my beautiful dress so I can continue to wear it!

My experience with Allegria bridal far exceeded my expectations. The service I received specifically from Julie and their master seamstress Luciane of Boston was spectacular. Julie helped me find my dress which was a stunning simple fit and flare style with no embellishments. I really wanted to add a touch of lace to my dress and I found an similar dress online from the same dress designer with a lace overlay that looked amazing. Julie reached out to the dress designer every week for over a month requesting to purchase the lace to make a topper for my dress. The designer didn’t want to sell me the lace but Julie was so persistent that the designer eventually agreed. Luciane took the image of the designer dress with the lace overlay and made me an identical topper. The topper looked amazing! I am so grateful these two professionals went above and beyond to create the dress I was seeking. Thank you Julie and Luciane!

As an out-of-town bride living and getting married in California, I visited Allegria Bridal when back 'home' in Boston with my family and a couple bridesmaids. It was the 2nd bridal shop we went to that day, and I have to say the experience was absolutely wonderful. I of course found the dress of my dreams here when my bridesmaids convinced me to try one on that was a bit out of my set budget (tisk tisk - I know not to do that!). Allegria found a way to make it work for me, however, and also shipped the gown out to me in California where I live creating an easy, seamless experience. Because of my great experience getting my gown here, I also returned to select my bridesmaid dresses. The salon has a wide selection from which to choose and did a great job managing communication and shipping to my girls who are also spread across the country. I highly recommend Allegria Bridal!

Allegria was my first Bridal shop for wedding dress shopping and I walked out with my wedding dress that day!! Their collection of dresses is gorgeous with every style you could want! Although I knew I wanted to buy the first dress I tried on, Julie was so accommodating in helping me try on an additional 7 dresses just in case there was something else I may like! My dress came in and it fit like a glove! I couldn’t have been happier with it! Thank you Allegria!

I went to Allegria Bridal in April to try on a specific Eve of Milady wedding dress that I had been dreaming of wearing for around 3 years. Allegria ordered the dress in for me, all I paid for was the shipping, and were SO helpful through that whole process. I tried on the dress I ordered first (of course) and I could not get it OFF fast enough. I absolutely hated how it looked on me and it was sooo heavy. At this point I was silently panicking because I had been dreaming about wearing this dress for years, now what!? My bridal consultant Barb was absolutely fantastic. She knew as soon as I walked out I didn't like it, she remained calm and pulled some more Eve of Milady dresses for me. The second dress I tried on (Barb's pick) was my dress. I loved it but was unsure seeing as where it was only the second dress I tried, so we kept trying more Eve of Milady dresses on. It came down to two Eve of Milady dresses and the second dress I tried on is the one that I bought. It was fate. I brought my mom's headpiece she wore at her wedding and it matches perfectly, then I bought a veil. It was an amazing experience. My advice is be open to try anything! Because you won't know what you do and don't like until it is on your body.

I made 4 appointments at bridal salons all over Boston to begin the search for my wedding dress- Allegria was stop #2. When I showed up for my appointment I showed Julie some pictures of dresses I liked, explained the vision of our big day and she sent me into the room to pick out some dresses with my sister, saying that she just had one she really wanted me to try on given the conversation we had. I tried on her dress first and as soon as I walked out of the dressing room, I could tell by the look on my moms face that it was THE dress. Still, Julie was very kind, helpful and let me make the decision on my own. I cancelled my other 2 appointments because I knew I had found my dress and couldn’t be more thankful for Allegria & Julie for helping me find the dress of my dreams!

I found my dream wedding dress here in Aleegria bridal after looking couple of stores. I could say all the dresses there are so elegant. The lady there, I think her name was Barb, was so nice and helpful. She helped me to find the style that I wanted. They didn't put you in rush to choose a dress. My dress deliver even earlier than the time they told me and they called me right away and ask for pick up. This is the best place I think every bride should check before buy her wedding dress!

My experience with Allegria was fantastic. I actually chose the first dress I tried on and they picked out a veil to go with it that matched perfectly. It was so easy and they were so helpful. They also did an amazing job with alterations! My bridesmaids also had a great time trying on and choosing their dress at Allegria. They have a huge selection of gorgeous dresses but make the process painless and fun!

What an amazing experience at a beautiful salon! Julie helped me try in umpteen dresses and accessories, was patient, helpful, and honest. She also practically worked magic with the dress clips to help give me a sense of what the dress would look like after alterations. I went to two other salons as well, but ended up coming back to Allegria for my dress.

I bought the most beautiful, classy, and elegant dress at Allegria. And working with them with lovely. I even added sleeves to a strapless dress and one of their seamstresses (Ling) did a most amazing job. This is probably not the shop for a bride on a super tight budget but the quality and the service is wonderful if you can afford a little more.

Allegria was incredible to work with. They have a beautiful but not too overwhelming collection, and were able to listen to what I liked and also provide recommendations based on what they thought would look good on me. I ended up going with the first recommendation they made! They were flexible with storing my dress since I live out of state, and helped all of my bridesmaids with their orders as well. Highly recommend!!
