site and browse. I also looked at the top choices promoted by The Knot and The Wedding Wire. Alliance’s sample videos stood out to me above all the other videographer sites. Through Alliance, I also found my photographers who they have partnered with for years. Tom is the owner of Alliance and Zac was my onsite videographer. Both men were so communicative before hand and made me very comfortable. Alliance could not have been more on the ball. I have no doubt I chose the best videographing company. Tom is nice and comfortable to be around. You can tell he is a pro. I think wedding videography is a very specific niche and Alliance has experienced videographers. He watches and makes videos while moments are going on. But, he also guides the whole process so I’m not wondering what is next. If he sees a shot he wants to get, he asks for a quick pause. Zac and the photographers, Ambar & Eddie Moreno, worked together so we felt so comfortable and the process felt smooth. I filled out a quick online questionnaire so Alliance new the specifics of the day. Then we had a phone interview to tell them what I liked and didn’t like. Then we set a schedule that we coordinated with the photographers. This gave me the full timeline of the day. We did a first look, so getting ready started early. This really worked for me since it freed up my time after the ceremony to get straight to cocktail hour and start having fun. I never felt I was being pulled in 2 directions since they all worked so well. Their prices trumped the competitors, which I think is what most brides on a budget need. I believe I got the most value for what I spent. Alliance provides just videography packages, but I felt the best deal was the combo pack with Ambar Moreno Photography. They have 2 packages and let you customize. I also had the option to pay more if I asked the videographer to stay longer if I felt like we needed more footage. That flexibility made me feel comforted. I also liked that Alliance had shot many beach weddings in the town and specific venue, The Grand Hotel of Cape May, where mine was. Being familiar with the area made me know there wouldn’t be too many hiccups or wasted time getting to the ideal shooting locations. As a bonus, they have aerial footage of the beach and outside of my venue they can splice in and I think that saves me a little money since I didn’t pay for the drone. I won’t have the final product for a few months, but I’m confident it will be wonderful. I’ll update my review when the time comes.

I finally convinced her and we are all so very happy with the results! Tom Johnson and his assistant did an amazing job of putting together drone shots, still shots, and video into an interesting and fun short clip. I can’t wait to see what they do with the entire video! Tom used the venue, Bride and Groom, families, and wedding guests and incorporated it all into a “story” of my daughter and son in law’s day. His friendly, caring personality and obvious passion for videography helped make the day less stressful. He quietly was able to get all of the footage we hoped for and even more. He directed without being overbearing, and even walked the photographer around the property to familiarize him with the venue. He had his assistant stay longer to get more video and didn’t even charge extra. I cannot say enough positive things about Tom’s professionalism and passion for videography. TJ also flew a drone on our wedding day and we are very excited to see all of the "birds eye" shots his was able to get. It was the best surprise to receive it so soon and the video was AMAZING. If I could go back and do it again I would have had Tom for the entire day rather than just the 6 hours.

were a “waste of money”. BOY WERE WE WRONG! Their production is unlike any other. Sound, picture, quality, lighting, it’s all amazing. BUT most importantly- they were able to capture mine and my husband’s personality in our video. To me, that speaks above everything else. Anyone can put together a video clip, however Alliance produced a lasting memory for us. If you want friends and family to walk away from your wedding video and say “wow that video really captured their personalities” then you’ve found your wedding videographer! On your wedding day Bride and Groom are both so caught up in the excitement you miss or forget the little stuff and that’s where these guys come in! They even capture moments before the wedding where the Bride says a little bit to the Groom and the Groom says a little bit to the Bride. It’s truly magical. No 2 videos by Alliance are alike, trust me I’ve watched about 50!! Tom really went the extra mile, staying longer to capture some great footage of my husband's former band reuniting during our reception, and provided us with an extra long video because he felt there wasn't much to cut out. His customer website was easy to use for the payment plan and he was easily accessible. He also contacted us the week of our wedding to go over the logistics. At the wedding Tom introduced himself and his assistant but other than that they stayed in the background and did their thing. After the wedding, Tom contacted us while we were in Paris and wanted to do something he has never done before for our honeymoon highlight. He wanted us to send him a video of us thanking our guests for coming to our wedding from Paris. It made our video so special and it was so amazing that Tom did everything he could to customize the highlight to fit our style! Plus it was a complete surprise for our family and friends! We are so thankful to have had such an amazing experience with Tom and we can’t wait for our full video to come!

We ended up winning one of the contests which included a GoPro that we were able to shoot our own footage during our wedding process (bridal shower/rehearsal dinner) and Tom is going to add it to our final video. He did a great job of capturing the mood and feeling of our day and piecing it all together. Every time I watch it I feel like I'm reliving that day. We said after the wedding there were a lot of moments in our day, specifically the reception where we would think "I wish this would be on the video" and we would turn around and there was Tom filming that exact moment.
