Very disappointed. I had my wedding in September 2023 on the lake. We got married on top of a cliff and jumped into the lake after saying I do, family and friends were all in boats... watching. Afterwards, lots of people were jumping in the water, off the cliff and swimming. I had a blast at my wedding. I had made Allie aware from the beginning that this was my plan as I wanted to make sure I had a photographer on board. Allie said she was very comfortable on boats and stated she has done marketing/photography for wake boats.... but Allie sent 2, in my opinion, "inexperienced photographers" to my wedding. Carly and Kaleigh. Carly was our main photographer and seemed to have no experience at all. She complained about the rain to my mom. I have a video from a relative of my dad jumping off the cliff after "walking me down the isle" and you can see Carly in the video not taking any pictures, she was not even looking and had the camera pointed to the floor of the boat. I gave a list of family/wedding party pictures I wanted and had to continue to ask if they could stick to the list. They still missed pictures and I have zero pictures of me by myself. Many of the pictures have people cut out or very off centered. For example, a picture with me and my bridesmaids and some of them are not even in the frame even though we were standing still, close together. They also did not try to help people pose, I have people standing akwardly far apart in family photos. I received my pictures in a quick timeframe, but that is because no editing was done. We stood in grass that had a line of white spray pain, at the time I thought no big deal they will edit that out, super easy... wrong. I have delayed ordering the pictures because I need to edit some of them. We took pictures at a beautiful park on the lake, but somehow they failed to get the beautiful scenery. Pictures also took forever and I only have 1 picture I like of me and my husband. We were very late to the reception due to how long everything took (thankfully small wedding and most people there were also in the pictures). She had us do odd "walking to the camera" photo shoots but failed to get everyone in the frame and was quick to be done with pictures of me and my husband. She was also asked to go to the cabin where the boys were getting ready and she never went. Hardly any pictures at the reception. She only took only one picture of the table center pieces, which were whiskey bottles with flowers and the picture only consisted of part of the whiskey bottle and not the flowers. We had planned to reenact us leaving the ceremony, driving away in the boat once we got back to the dock and when I mentioned it at the dock her reply was no need I got the shot. She did not! I loved my wedding but unfortunately when I think about it I also get upset thinking about how I don't have pictures that captured the memories and the ones I do have are awful.I see pictures on Allie's site and they are amazing, but that is not my experience and maybe it would have been different if she would have been my photographer instead. I prioritized photography when wedding planning and it was by far the most expensive thing about my wedding. I waited months to leave a review in hopes I would not be as upset but I would hate for someone to have the experience I had. I reached out shortly after I got my pictures back in hopes she would be able to edit some and provide feedback to her photographers, but never heard back.
