They are also super receptive to feedback and are happy to make adjustments on hair and makeup, and don't make you feel uncomfortable about asking to change something. I ended up having two hair trials, but by the end of the second one my hair was EXACTLY what I wanted it to be, and Alex was able to recreate it perfectly on the wedding day. Allison's prices are competitive, and in my opinion you get excellent value for the money. Allison also creates a schedule for your wedding day, ensuring that each bridesmaid/MOB/MOG etc has a specific slot for hair and for makeup so that you run on schedule. This is a huge bonus and keeps the getting ready phase of the day fun and stress-free. All my bridesmaids loved their hair and makeup, as did my mom and mother in law. I was SO happy with how I looked - I have since gotten my wedding photos back and I am still drooling over how good my hair came out! Here's an extra bonus, and honestly why working with Allison was life-changing: for the last 15 or so years of my life, I have had these tiny, under the skin bumps on my forehead (and of course I was super self-conscious about it). I had been to several dermatologists, tried different routines and medications, etc., but nothing helped. Then I went to my makeup trial with Allison...I asked her advice for how I should care for my skin pre-wedding, and if she thought anything could be done for the bumps. She did a little research, and then a few days later she sent me some articles on what she thought it could be - and she also recommended products and a routine that I should follow. After a few months - and in time for the wedding - the bumps were GONE! I have been following the routine ever since and they have not come back. So, not only did I have an excellent experience for the wedding itself - Allison's amazing skills and knowledge helped me overcome a persistent skin issue, which has made me so much more confident in how I look. I sent her pictures of what I was interested in for my hair and make up and she had me fill out some forms about my skin and hair to help make the trail a success. We were concerned about my timing getting to the train to head back to NY so Allison took us early and tried to get her wonderful hair stylist to the office earlier as well. Allison did my make up and understood my wants and needs right away. She literally did the make up perfectly on the first try. I didn't want airbrushed foundation and I wanted a very light natural look. I also was very excited to try the false eyelashes and LOVED them. While we waited Allison spoke to my mom and I for about an hour about make up, her skin care routine, etc. We loved chatting with her and learning her tricks of the trade. Emily, the hair stylist was also super talented! Again, I showed her a couple pictures and she understood what I was looking for right away. I was concerned that using a lot of product would change the color of my hair but she had the products that wouldn't allow that to happen. Leading up to the wedding I emailed Allison and Emily regarding hair accessories and the veil. They got back to me and answered my questions right away. Allison reached out to me with some helpful pre- wedding beauty tips a couple months before the wedding. I tried to follow as many of her recommendations as possible. Even the day before the wedding I reached out about a skin care question and she responded. On the wedding day Allison, Emily and two other wonderful artists took care of me, my 6 bridesmaids, my mom, mother in law and grandma at the Newport Marriott. They were prompt, fun, relaxed and SO skilled. I made a comment to Emily and said wow...everyone is really taking their time with each lady. She told me having enough time with each person is super important to Allison. Not only does it help make sure everyone is given enough attention and looks great, it helped me feel relaxed! Allison made a super specific schedule that kept everyone on schedule. She allowed me to revise it several times pre-wedding. All of my ladies had ideas about what they would like their hair/make up to look like and they were all amazed at what they looked like by the end. The entire process was incredibly stress-free. ould reference it 4 months later. Regarding hair, I initially chose a hairstyle that looked amazing on the woman wearing it. Kerri, my hair stylist, did a wonderful job copying this style; however, the way it translated over onto my head came out looking a little weird (definitely not Kerri’s fault…just ended up looking weird on me). I left the trial not quite sure about the hairstyle. I decided to book Allison and Kerri because even though my hair wasn’t exactly how I wanted it, I knew that Kerri would be absolutely capable creating any desired hairstyle. Within the coming weeks I sent pictures of what I wanted and on the actual day Kerri made my hair BEAUTIFUL. What I must note is that Allison really is the entire package. Not only is she extremely talented and made both my bridesmaids and myself SO beautiful for my big day, she’s also extremely organized and very clearly cares about the happiness of her client. Over a month leading up to the wedding, Allison sent a detailed timeline with the time of each bridesmaid’s services along with a guide for the weeks leading up to the wedding (for ex: don’t experiment with new products too close to the date, get a trim X amount of days before the wedding if you’d like, etc.). Just helpful tips. My bridesmaids appreciated how thorough and organized this information was. The only very minor issue that came up was that my sister (MOH) was not initially happy with her hairstyle. During one of her breaks she decided to pull Kerri aside and give her a more specific picture with the look she was going for. Kerri was extremely accommodating and very sweet about fixing her hair exactly the way she wanted it. Altogether, Allison and Kerri did a TREMENDOUS job. I received so many compliments from my guests about how perfect my hair and makeup were! After getting my make up complete one of my bridesmaids even said to me, “Wow…she (Allison) was not playing around.” LOL. So glad that I hired these two!!

Therefore, choosing the best hair and makeup professional was incredibly important to me. I am positive that I made the right decision by hiring Allison and her team, and I would like to explain in detail the top reasons why I love them so much, and why I would strongly recommend them without a second of hesitation: • Their professionalism is top notch. Allison and Shaley did our makeup, and Ana and Alex did our hair. They provided these services for me, my three bridesmaids, my mother, the groom’s mother, and his stepmother. All of us were very impressed with the results and the creativity and high level of execution that Allison and her team brought to the table. • The next thing that truly impressed me was Allison’s accessibility and responsiveness. It honestly felt like she responded to my emails within moments after sending them (despite the time difference between Israel and the US!). On the day of the wedding it is so important to have an organized schedule that meets the tight time constraints. ng she even arrived a half an hour early :-) Allison applied makeup for 2 bridesmaids, my mom, and myself and we all looked AMaZING! She applied my makeup just how I explained I wanted it, and did all this in the planned time span with plenty of time before we had to get dressed!!! All day everyone was comlimenting on my makeup and said that she did a great job! Allison is professional, affordable and I would HIGHLY recommend her to any bride out there!

than what I wear every day, but I didn't want to look theatrical. Allison did a fantastic job of finding a happy medium. Plus the makeup she used was not too heavy or cakey, and yet the coverage still lasted over 10 hours! Probably the number one reason to go with Allison is because she's so easy to get along with. I felt so comfortable with her at both the trial and at the wedding. We talked for hours even though I can't even remember what we discussed! She was so down to earth and friendly, exactly the kind of person you want around on such an important day. I can't fully express how terrific Allison is, but I promise that if you book with her you won't be disappointed.

She loves what she does and is committed to making you look amazing for the whole event! I would catch her staring at me, or as she explained, looking at my face to make sure that everything was still as fabulous as when I left for the ceremony. I am someone who rarely wears makeup and is kinda makeup phobic. Allison created a look that would photograph well while I still felt like myself -- and beautiful! I LOVED my makeup! Allison is a true talent.
