Allison Barrett Photography

ad a lot of ideas for poses and provided us with a sneak peak within 24 hours! The photos turned out absolutely beautiful, and I could not recommend her more.

azing moments. She is quick to respond via any communication (email, text, phone calls) and helped answer all the many questions we had for her. On the day of our wedding she was so fun and had lots of great photo poses and ideas to capture. She even had our sneak peeks available to view the monday morning after our wedding! Two thumbs way up, would definitely recommend and can't wait to have her capture more future photos with our family!

om friends and family on our weddings photos, she truly captured every moment! She also had so much useful advice for us along the way and even sent over some checklists leading up to wedding day to make sure we thought through everything. I would recommend Allison for any and all photography needs! I can't wait to work with her again!

er a million times over. Sneak peaks came super quick, and so did the final photos with AMAZING quality. Thank you so much!!

ver once felt awkward while working with her. The sneak peak photos arrived within a few days of the wedding and were stunning! She also provided so many sneak peak photos which I have been told is uncommon. I will absolutely be using her again in the future and recommending her to anyone looking for a wedding or event photographer. Her prices were also very reasonable compared to a lot of the other photographs that I looked into.

quality of her work! She was so helpful and easy to work with. Thank you Allison!

well as ensuring the classic portraits were taken. She was helpful but not overbearing in making sure our timeline was kept. While getting ready one of the bridesmaids dress straps broke. Luckily Allison was more than up to the challenge and helped sew it back together. Allison was knowledgeable, professional, so helpful, and such a kind photographer to work with. I would highly recommend her for your wedding!!

all of the shots with our family members (a true feat when you have a huge family!!) as well as some really beautiful/creative pictures she thought of for the venue. She made us feel so comfortable and confident going into our special day and we can't thank her enough. The photos look absolutely BEAUTIFUL and we are so thankful we had her as our photographer! Photo attached is one of the sneak peeks she sent over--- so impressed by how talented she is and highly recommend. 1000/10!

ing at communicating. On our wedding day Allison went above and beyond. She even helped bustle my dress, wow! Her copartner was also great. We received so many compliments on our photos and our family and wedding party were so impressed with Allison. You do not want to miss out on this super talented and fun photographer!

th a calm and supportive demeanor, which is something so valuable on your big day! We had Allison photograph our engagement photos and our wedding photos. The photos came out FLAWLESS! She knows all the right poses and angles! And even when we wanted or needed some edits, she was quick to fulfill our request. As my husband and I were looking through our wedding photos when we got the gallery back, I had tears in my eyes because she captured so many beautiful moments with my family and friends that I will treasure forever. Choose Allison to capture your forever love!

Basically, I thought I had a photographer fall through due to an emergency 2 weeks before my wedding. I started researching photographers in Newport and loved her style and vibes. I reached out to her via her website inquiry with my story and she immediately called me. Unfortunately, she was booked for my day, however she offered to post in a community photographers my wedding date on my behalf. Within an hour or two she had texted me multiple photographers that were available. I cannot explain how impressed I was with her responsiveness and how comfortable she made me feel that I needed to leave her a review!

s of our wedding!

at even though we had no idea what we were doing! Cannot recommend her enough!

and I are both very camera shy people who are not used to being the center of attention, but Allison made us feel comfortable and look good, and we had fun along the way! On our wedding day Allison and her 2nd photographer Alyssa made an incredible team! Alyssa was amazing at boy wrangling and Allison made photos go by in a flash! Not only did they get amazing photos of us, but we also have some incredible photos of our wedding guests that they all want printed for their own houses! After the ceremony Allison even helped me change my shoes and bustle my dress! She made us feel at ease all day knowing we were in her hands. I wouldn't have wanted any one else there. Do yourself a favor and hire Allison. You'll have a photographer for life!

that you can look back on for years to come. The pictures we received are perfection! These two wonderful ladies made the process fun and we really enjoyed our time with them. They helped us feel at ease and comfortable. They really exceeded all our expectations and we are very grateful. We'll certainly be in touch for future sessions! xo.

t she made us feel so comfortable and brought out our personalities which in return led to the most incredible wedding photos. She was easy to work with, communication was perfect and she always went the extra mile. She gave us so many sneak peaks and they were so quick so we didn’t have to wait too long to see some of our favorite pictures. Everything about Allison was perfect, she was a dream vendor and the BEST decision to hire her. I promise you won’t regret it for a second.

d to capture our wedding, and we couldn’t have been happier with choosing Allison. She is so down to earth, and easy to talk to. We did an engagement shoot with her which was great to get to know each other so then the day of the wedding, my husband and I both felt so comfortable. She listened to our vision and went beyond our expectations. We got a sneak peek the day after our wedding and then even more within 4 days! We are so excited to see our full album but are completely blown away with the photographs we have seen so far. I promise you will not be disappointed if you book Allison for your wedding!!

nmatched. The images she managed to capture are stunning. She advocated for the vision my brother and SIL had and was great at helping to organize not only the wedding party but all of the guests. I have worked with many vendors in assisting with my brother's wedding and planning my own for next April and none hold a match to Allison! If you are in the area, I highly HIGHLY recommend her.

nsure our day ran smoothly and anticipated our needs and wants actively through the day. She honestly felt like an old friend and wedding guest! She knew exactly when we wanted a break from the crowd for photos, and when we needed to be with our guests. As someone who isn’t a fan of having their photo taken, her prompts were fun and easy and the few raw photos I was shown far surpassed what I could’ve imagined. We went in completely blind looking for a wedding photographed, and I could not have found someone better. I have not a single critique. Allison was everything we could’ve wanted and more in a photographer. To anyone considering—trust me, she’s the person you want photographing your wedding!

me moments forever! Initially I was nervous to go with Allison because I did not know anybody personally who had used her, but I loved her photos and read lots of great reviews from people online. I went ahead and booked her anyways and it was the best decision I made for our wedding! Learn from me - trust the random people you don't know online (like me!) saying that she is AMAZING!!! We did an engagement shoot and she was super accommodating with changing dates last minute - the weather wasn't looking good for our scheduled date and she knew how badly I wanted sunset photos, so she went out of her way and offered me a spot that opened up for her on a different day last minute! I talked with her beforehand about my vision for the photos and she really listened, making my vision come to life and even surpassing what I had hoped. We absolutely loved our photos and used them for both our save-the-dates and guest book (not to mention our Christmas cards that year too!). Leading up to the wedding, Allison was on top of everything, making my life much less stressful as the big day got closer. She scheduled a phone meeting where we made a detailed outline of the day and made sure she had all the shots I wanted listed so that we wouldn't miss any in the chaos of the day. Did I say chaos of the day? On my wedding day, Allison was a true professional and made my experience not chaotic at all! She arrived early and got right to work on detail shots and coming up with ideas for getting ready photos. I had a large bridal party with lots of big personalities and lots of family for photos, but Allison coordinated everyone seamlessly and blended right in with her laid back and enthusiastic personality. She always asked us before trying to pull us away for couple photos and made sure to grab us at the perfect time for golden hour/sunset photos - my favorite! Truly couldn't have asked for more from her that day. At the end of the wedding night, she even sent me TWO sneak peak edited photos which was so exciting to see. Allison sent the rest of our sneak peak photos very shortly after the wedding and there were TONS - way more than I was expecting. And then our full album was also delivered super quickly thereafter. I can't tell you how many times my husband and I "OMG-ed", laughed, cried, and literally gasped while scrolling through our album for the first time. Allison captured every moment perfectly with so many natural and candid photos (while also getting the more standard, classic, posed shots too). There are so many photos that capture so many little moments between my husband and me throughout the day that I truly will cherish forever. I could not have asked for more from a photographer or from my photos. Book Allison! You will not regret it - trust this online stranger :)

We are from out of town and originally weren't sure if we were interested in having engagement photos done. I contacted her several days before giving her a small window of time when we would be available. Not only was she able to fit us in, but we had our sneak peeks returned to us in a VERY short amount of time. Did I mention she was also wrangling our pup that we brought along during couples' photos without him? Fast forward to our wedding, she was equally as amazing. Once again, we received our sneak peeks back in a very short amount of time and are absolutely in love with our photos! On top of this, she makes you feel very relaxed and comfortable in front of the camera.

She immediately made us feel comfortable from behind the camera and was able to capture us better than I could have ever expected! When the weather forecast took a last minute turn and our wedding day plans needed to entirely change, Allison was on the phone with potential photo locations and updating our day-of timeline to accomodate the changes (while also fielding calls from an incredibly stressed bride...). We received a sneak peak with at least 50 of the 2,000 photos she took the Monday after and they're all spectacular!!! I actually cannot say enough about how great Allison was and how much we absolutely loved working with her. Do yourself a favor and reach out to her!

and our wedding day photos. Allison is extremely professional, on time (early), and is super easy to talk to and work with. Our family and friends commented on how great she was during our wedding. As someone who had never had professional photos done before, she made the process extremely easy, walking us through what to expect and allowing us to add our own input and poses. Allison provided edited previews of both our engagement session and wedding photos within days of each, which included a significant portion of the photos and included many of the specific shots that we requested, so that we wouldn’t have to wait. We are so grateful to have found Allison and 100% recommend her!

and guided us the entire way. She put me completely at ease during a bit of a stressful morning with a tight timeline and weather that was not cooperating. She was prepared for everything (even had umbrellas), helped me with jewelry and ironing (an unexpected need), and was calm as can be. She and her second photographer were pleasant, courteous and unobtrusive with our entire wedding party and guests. They were so efficient that we were even able to make it to part of our cocktail reception. Allison captured some of the most endearing, funny and precious moments for us (many that we didn't witness during the busy-ness of the day). We love the final photos and can't recommend Allison Barrett enough!

well as the venue, food and dessert displays, as well as the flower arrangements! She did not miss a thing! Thank you Allison for capturing all on our special event!

e moment. She is super understanding and even though there was some hick ups with our timeline (nothing in her control) she helped us work through them and find a solution! Also we received our wedding photos in such a timely manner and we truly were impressed! You will not regret booking with Allison!

iends and family on how beautiful our photos are and how fast they came back! We also keep getting compliments from our family saying how they also loved Allison and she made them feel so comfortable during pictures and I couldn’t agree more!

be yourself around. Highly recommend!

e, it felt like she was one of my bridesmaids! She helped things run smoothly & stepping away with her for photos was like a perfect little break for me & my introvert husband. lol. She made the formal photos super fun & not at all awkward like some photoshoots can be. And the photos themselves??? Beyond gorgeous. She captured so many little details and beautiful candids of our party. She was also incredibly quick with her turnaround for the sneak peak she gave us, and we got the final photos within just a few weeks, which was so fast! I cannot recommend her enough!!

her portfolio in person and find out details of what we were looking for. It was a touch that helped us to connect with her personally while also seeing the caliber of her work. On the day of the wedding, Allison accompanied me and my bridal party for "getting ready pictures" while her colleague accompanied the men. Allison expertly got all of the shots I was hoping for of the pre-wedding excitement without feeling like she was "in the way" as some photographers tend to be. She blended in seamlessly as if she was just another member of the bridal party which made us all at ease and resulted in much more genuine and beautiful photos. She has a knack for catching beautiful shots in the moment without them being "set" as well as your "planned" shots. At the wedding and the reception, again Allison was the perfect blend of professionalism, fun, and again not in the way. To me there is nothing worse at a wedding then the photographers getting in the guests way of being able to see what's going on just to get the best shots. And I can assure you the quality and number of photos I received did not suffer in the slightest for them being aware of there positioning in relation to our guests. She also had great ideas of formal as well as fun poses for our wedding party pictures. Allison is reasonably priced for the quality of photography she provides. Trust me and set up a consultation with her. You won't be sorry as your wedding photos are something you will treasure forever. Make sure you are trusting them to the right photographer, and in my mind that is definitely Allison.

rought the best vibe to make it the most pleasurable experience for everyone involved. Both ourselves and our families loved working with her at our wedding and having her be a huge part of our special day. The photos, TO DIE FOR. We truly can’t wait to hire her again for future events throughout our life time!

icture. I highly recommend Allison Barrett Photography for your upcoming wedding! You won't regret it. One less thing to worry about for your beautiful day. 10/10

s on our big day after we rescheduled twice! I received so many compliments from our guests at how professional Allison was throughout the day and they were very impressed with how she kept everyone on track with taking pictures. The end result was unbelievable and I couldn't have been happier with how our pictures came out in the end! 10/10 recommend!
