So, you're probably wondering what's with the hot dog costume.....
Here's why! I'm a HUGE goofball who is also a wedding photographer! My goal is to find couples who are ALSO big goofballs and want their wedding photos to reflect that! Ya know, the kind of photos that are laughter-filled and candid rather than posed glamour shots.

OH GIRL, IT IS!!! I chose this photo because I want you to see the real me, just the way I will see the *real* you on your big day. Being a friend rather than a "vendor" is totally my jam, and after 10 years of photographing for my *friends* I can tell you that the best photos are built on relationships (I just went on a taco date with one of my brides!) r hot dog costume. Legit, no joke. She is the most friendly and joyful person and that is who I wanted to hang around with on my wedding day! Allison's bubbly, energetic personality never failed to take away any nervousness or inhibition. Because of the energy she brings, my husband and I could be our full unplugged selves, and this, captured us at our most JOYFUL. She is the photographer for those couples who love to goof and be a little weird. Allison loves it and volleys the same amount of goof right back at you.
Secondly what sold me was her genuine interest in people. Before we got down to logistics, she wanted to know about us individually and as a couple and that meant a lot to me. My husband and I walked out of our wedding experience having made new friends out of Allison and her brother Jason (second photographer).
Oh and of course finally.... I should also mention she's endlessly TALENTED she is at what she does. My engagement photos and wedding photos were JAW. DROPPING. I cried when receiving my engagement photos and the wedding photo preview. Her photos of my husband and I are so so beautiful and flattering. They weren't just pictures of my favorite person and I, they were positioned and posed masterpieces we'll have for our future kids to admire.
All in all, Allison is an amazing person who happens to also be an amazing photographer. You will love her and her work. I promise. 💕

her style was so personal and really captured everyone's expressions. She was so flexible and adaptable and understanding and supportive when we had to change our wedding date because of the virus. Even when the virus started I received such a kind message asking how I was doing when I was really struggling because I have to move away from home a month earlier than expected. tail that she can bring out the most of every photo location. I do not like having photos taken of me. I get impatient and cranky because it's not something that I like to do. But she made the experience so enjoyable for me I actually liked getting my photo taken for once!
We were also not able to meet with Allison in person very much because we were planning our wedding from out of state, but she worked with us over the phone and through Skype to make sure that we were in regular contact and that we were all aware of the necessary details of the night.
We got our full photos two months after the event, but during that time Allison sent us some preview images and even released a small number of photos the next day! Allison is extremely skilled, personable, and all-around fun!

I loved how Allison scouted out our venue beforehand and was fully prepared to shoot in a few artful locations. She even drove through a blizzard to photograph our day, and was still on time!
