thing before my wedding. She sent me a few emails, a few questionnaires to get to know us as a couple, and then a few emails and phone calls a couple of weeks before the wedding. So great! On day of the wedding, she was calm, sweet, and fun! Just what any hectic bride needs. After the wedding, she was so communicative , let us know her timeline on the video, and then got to work! She had our video completed and sent to us just one month after the wedding, which was way faster than we expected. Last but definitely not least - the quality of the video was insanely AMAZING. We weren't sure what to expect out of our wedding video at first but we knew after we met Allison that she was for sure going to be able to portray our type of style, love, joy, and families as we saw them on our wedding day and SHE DID NOT DISAPPOINT. Allison is so truly talented.. I really can't sing her praises enough. Our wedding video is now described in our family as "the movie trailer to our epic lives together". She is very laid back and easy to talk to, but her wisdom is beyond her years! She was such a delight to be around on our wedding day, and really helps my wife with so much more than just the videography! Allison has been working in this industry for quite some time it seems, and she is very knowledgeable about anything related to weddings. After we watched one of her videos, we ended up watching all of the posted videos over ...
and over...we were hooked! We just knew we had to have them!!! No one else even came close!
Video and Photo cost took a large part of our destination wedding budget already, and the decision to spent more money to fly in the Allison and her team to Mexico was not an easy one...but man, it was so, so WORTH IT!
Our married friends told us: "at the end of the day, after all the fun of our wedding day...all you will be left with are you memories (which will fade), pictures and video. And most of the people that couldn't make it to your wedding will want to see the wedding highlight video, not your 500 photos...do not save the money of that, it will be all you will have left from your big day!" Sooooo spot on....
And our highlight video is the true testament to that! We have watched it over 30 times! We have showed it (I don't even know how many times) to EVERYONE that have not made it to the wedding! And all of our guests are madly in love with it! All we keep hearing is "WOOOW, it looks like a commercial!", "it can't be real, no one's wedding is this beautiful"...Well, our video is real and it's so amazing!
Working with Allison was such a breeze. Starting with the booking, through all the travel bookings we had to do, wedding day and to the post production: super professional, great communication, easy to work with and an amazing delivery time!
During the wedding Allison and her other videographer Marc were practically invisible, like ninjas: we never noticed them, but somehow they captured all of the best moments!!! If they are available on your wedding day, book them asap...you will not regret it!!! We can not recommend them enough, absolutely amazing experience all around!

Allison is professional, personable and responsive. It was easy to communicate with them and they were so great about just going with the flow on the day of our wedding! She also did a great job at making us feel very comfortable in front of the camera. Allison was so sweet and even made me my bouquet 15 minutes before the ceremony!

He made us feel at ease and honestly didn't even know he was there for most of the time! The videographers really do stay out of the way while still capturing every single moment. I watched so many wedding videos before booking a videographer and AK Films has the BEST quality and the most talented staff out there! These people love what they do and you can see it in their work. Seriously their films don't even compare to others! The day goes by so fast!! I am so happy we decided to go with AK films to remember our special day forever! During the wedding, Allison made me (bride) feel so comfortable and she honestly was more help than my wedding coordinator was. She would help instruct us where to go and what to do when we had no one there to help! Go Alliosn! Also, my husband really enjoyed the guys on Allison's crew that hung out with him and the groomsmen. My husband is not very emotional and is very shy, so being able to feel comfortable around complete strangers on a very emotional/special day was key. I highly recommend AK Films!

She doesn't like to miss anything, and would make sure to stay in contact with us if we ever got separated. When she sent us our wedding video and footage she even packaged it so nicely and wrote us the sweetest letter! of natural flow of the wedding with a crew there filming us. We were allowed to have our time and were not prodded to 'get the shots'. Allison had a natural flow to the filming that made us feel comfortable the whole time. We wished we would have not taken as much time following the ceremony to do photos however, and should have taken her advice to to them before or after the wedding so we could interact with the guests more. We don't always trust the professionals to know what their doing I guess, lol. The filming was absolutely gorgeous and we were very pleased with her work.
