No really though, I could not have been happier with Allison's work. Allison was extremely communicative and on top of every...
thing before my wedding. She sent me a few emails, a few questionnaires to get to know us as a couple, and then a few emails and phone calls a couple of weeks before the wedding. So great! On day of the wedding, she was calm, sweet, and fun! Just what any hectic bride needs. After the wedding, she was so communicative , let us know her timeline on the video, and then got to work! She had our video completed and sent to us just one month after the wedding, which was way faster than we expected. Last but definitely not least - the quality of the video was insanely AMAZING. We weren't sure what to expect out of our wedding video at first but we knew after we met Allison that she was for sure going to be able to portray our type of style, love, joy, and families as we saw them on our wedding day and SHE DID NOT DISAPPOINT. Allison is so truly talented.. I really can't sing her praises enough. Our wedding video is now described in our family as "the movie trailer to our epic lives together". Check out her website, peep her videos, and you'll see for yourself! Highly recommend!!!!
We are so honored to have been able to work with Allison! Her talent is beyond words, and her eye is so unique. She is well thought out and organized. She had great information tha...
t walked us through everything we needed to know about choosing a wedding videographer, why it is so special, and how her process works. She ensured we understood the importance of her craft, and that it is just as special as the photos (not just an add on). She is very laid back and easy to talk to, but her wisdom is beyond her years! She was such a delight to be around on our wedding day, and really helps my wife with so much more than just the videography! Allison has been working in this industry for quite some time it seems, and she is very knowledgeable about anything related to weddings. She was great to work with and the video came out more beautiful than I could have imagined. We are so blessed to have received such an amazing video! We would highly recommend AK Films to do your wedding!!
We are so lucky to have found Allison!! Her talent and passion are a perfect combination for a wedding film-maker. Allison is very sweet, and my husband and I fell in love with her...
right away!! We had already been blown away by her work, but her integrity and honesty made us feel so comfortable about our decision. Allison provided us with well thought-out questionnaires and we had several phone calls before our wedding day. She walked us through her proccess of film-making and prepared us in every way for our big day. On our wedding day her demeanor was so calm, it is obvious she has been doing this for a long time. She knows exactly what to capture without being disruptive. She was respectful and fun to be around. Our wedding film was better than I could have ever imagines. It is obvious she truly cares about creating a story for each of her brides. Our wedding film was received with much praise and enjoyment by friends and family. We couldn't be happier to have chosen AK Films!
Working with Allison was one of the best decisions we have made during our wedding planning!
After we watched one of her videos, we ended up watching all of the posted videos over ...
and over...we were hooked! We just knew we had to have them!!! No one else even came close!
Video and Photo cost took a large part of our destination wedding budget already, and the decision to spent more money to fly in the Allison and her team to Mexico was not an easy one...but man, it was so, so WORTH IT!
Our married friends told us: "at the end of the day, after all the fun of our wedding day...all you will be left with are you memories (which will fade), pictures and video. And most of the people that couldn't make it to your wedding will want to see the wedding highlight video, not your 500 photos...do not save the money of that, it will be all you will have left from your big day!" Sooooo spot on....
And our highlight video is the true testament to that! We have watched it over 30 times! We have showed it (I don't even know how many times) to EVERYONE that have not made it to the wedding! And all of our guests are madly in love with it! All we keep hearing is "WOOOW, it looks like a commercial!", "it can't be real, no one's wedding is this beautiful"...Well, our video is real and it's so amazing!
Working with Allison was such a breeze. Starting with the booking, through all the travel bookings we had to do, wedding day and to the post production: super professional, great communication, easy to work with and an amazing delivery time!
During the wedding Allison and her other videographer Marc were practically invisible, like ninjas: we never noticed them, but somehow they captured all of the best moments!!! If they are available on your wedding day, book them asap...you will not regret it!!! We can not recommend them enough, absolutely amazing experience all around!
We couldn't be happier with the beautiful imagery Allison created for us. Allison was our first point of contact and so easy to talk to and friendly. We enjoyed our initial convers...
ation with her and knew right away that that we wanted her company to film our top secret elopement! The work on their website was clearly gorgeous and we could feel the emotion in the videos and photos they captured. That is exactly what we wanted and they delivered.
Allison is professional, personable and responsive. It was easy to communicate with them and they were so great about just going with the flow on the day of our wedding! She also did a great job at making us feel very comfortable in front of the camera. Allison was so sweet and even made me my bouquet 15 minutes before the ceremony!
We cannot say enough great things about AK Films! Allison and her team are so talented and it is apparent that they love what they do! We are so happy with how everything came out and will most likely use them again the future! Mahalo to AK Films!
From the beginning all the way to the end, AK Films was simply amazing. They were professional, personable and provided nothing but top notch service. Allison was always available...
to answer any questions, help with our timeline and coordinate everything. She is the sweetest! Our other videographer Alex was so cool! He made us feel at ease and honestly didn't even know he was there for most of the time! The videographers really do stay out of the way while still capturing every single moment. I watched so many wedding videos before booking a videographer and AK Films has the BEST quality and the most talented staff out there! These people love what they do and you can see it in their work. Seriously their films don't even compare to others! The day goes by so fast!! It's so special to have this keepsake for the rest of lives and be able to relive our special day whenever we want! Thank you Allison!!!
I absolutely LOVED working with Allison and her crew. Prior to the wedding, Allison was incredibly responsive, helpful, and organized. She was willing to help explain anything I ha...
d questions about and was very patient with us when we were trying to make decisions on what package to go with. Their pricing is very affordable and their work is truly breath taking. I am so happy we decided to go with AK films to remember our special day forever! During the wedding, Allison made me (bride) feel so comfortable and she honestly was more help than my wedding coordinator was. She would help instruct us where to go and what to do when we had no one there to help! Go Alliosn! Also, my husband really enjoyed the guys on Allison's crew that hung out with him and the groomsmen. My husband is not very emotional and is very shy, so being able to feel comfortable around complete strangers on a very emotional/special day was key. I highly recommend AK Films!
We love Allison!! Not only is she a talented videographer, but the most genuine person I have met. She is super passionate about wedding videography, and we couldn't have been luck...
ier to find her! Our wedding film was captured so naturally, we hardly even noticed she was there. I remember seeing shots in the video that I didn't even think she was there for! She doesn't like to miss anything, and would make sure to stay in contact with us if we ever got separated. When she sent us our wedding video and footage she even packaged it so nicely and wrote us the sweetest letter! I would recommend Allison to anyone who wants a wedding film, she has an eye for capturing things so well and also made sure to get all of the important memories from our wedding day!!
Allison and her crew were very professional and courteous. We did not feel self conscious or intruded upon during our wedding. We were so concerned about the invasiveness and lack ...
of natural flow of the wedding with a crew there filming us. We were allowed to have our time and were not prodded to 'get the shots'. Allison had a natural flow to the filming that made us feel comfortable the whole time. We wished we would have not taken as much time following the ceremony to do photos however, and should have taken her advice to to them before or after the wedding so we could interact with the guests more. We don't always trust the professionals to know what their doing I guess, lol. The filming was absolutely gorgeous and we were very pleased with her work.
Allison did an absolutely phenomenal job. We couldn't be happier with the final product. The video is edited so well and the shots look so professional. I can't believe we got the...
product we did without a 10 person crew and a much higher price tag! Allison was extremely helpful and accommodating during the editing process and we received everything very quickly. We're so happy we chose to capture the live moments of our wedding, as opposed to just the still photos, and are absolutely thrilled we found such an excellent videographer to do it!
I was amazed by Allison's storytelling and how she captured our day perfectly! She made us feel super comfortable while filming and everything felt very natural. Our wedding film w...
as exactly what we had hoped for! She was super involved in helping us through our wedding day. And made sure to capture all of the special moments! I would recommend Allison Karlyn always.
