I’ll be honest, when I heard how much wedding photography costs I almost spit my coffee out. But after seeing what Allison offered and her previous wedding pictures we decided to go for it. And we couldn’t be happier. We were looking for a dark and moody vibe (we’re not light and airy people). And Allison hit a home run with it. Every single picture is so dope! She even stepped in and helped with my brides hair! That’s dedication right there! Her style and her personality made it so simple and smooth. Our engagement photos sealed the deal for us and we got those back incredibly fast. We got our wedding sneak peeks within 48 hours after the wedding, and ALL the pictures from the wedding (over a thousand) before her contract deadline. Allison is the real MVP, and I couldn’t have asked for a better person to be with us on our special day! Thank you so much Allison!!

When I booked my engagement session I was extremely anxious...for years I have not liked my picture being taken. We booked Allison and when the day came she immediately made both myself, and my fiancé feel so comfortable. She did an incredible job bringing our vision to life and capturing some really beautiful moments. The whole experience ended up being really fun! We just received our photos and are so so happy. They are absolutely stunning.

Allison was THE BEST! She was so flexible and lighthearted, full of ideas. The photographs were not stiff and full of candids rather than super posey and uncomfortable. She made everyone feel good and let loose, especially my husband who is not much of a picture person. She matched the moods and themes perfectly (wedding itself as well as engagement shoot!) I had an awesome experience meeting and getting to know her, both professionally and as a person. I cannot recommend her enough!

Allison did such a beautiful job with both our engagement photos and our wedding photos. We haven’t ever had professional pictures taken of ourselves before this, but Allison made us feel at ease and comfortable. Allison is so laid back, thoughtful, and talented! Where do I begin? Allison saved me when I was in a pickle for a wedding photographer, I had never met her before but loved her work online. Boy am I glad I took that leap of faith, she exceeded all expectations for our engagement shoot! That was also the first time meeting with her, and she made us comfortable enough that you can’t even tell. Allison helped me coordinate a timeline, among other things for the wedding, including putting my mind at ease with planning, in a relatively short amount of time. She has such a beautiful eye for detail and I can’t say enough good things about her and her work. She’s so sweet, an awesome hype woman, and was my shadow for the entire reception so the photos of the night are truly unmatched. She captured so many tender moments as well as the ones I’m sure we would’ve forgotten otherwise. I will say it took a little bit to get all our photos back, but her attention to detail was so worth the final result, and we got the sneak peaks while on our mini moon! You won’t regret choosing Allison for your wedding, or anything else. You receive her classic, timeless, true color style, as well as a friend and listening ear.

Allison is wonderful to work with! She photographed our engagement session and wedding. The photos were absolutely amazing! She made sure we stayed on track the entire day. The quality of photos was unbelievable. She communicated about any delays and gave us two canvas’s and numerous prints at no additional charge. Her work is amazing!

Allison is GREAT!! She really helped us navigate our big day! Kept us on track and made sure we captured all the important moments! We definitely felt a little awkward posing for our engagement pics, but Allison definitely made sure that we didn't feel that at all day of. Allison is such a delight to work with! She’s completely unique in her shooting style and her artistic journalistic approach is what makes her stand out from the rest. She worked to make sure she could shoot an additional shoot at no cost and kudos to her that she was able to work with my hectic work schedule. Upon receiving the images from our Wedding celebration I was enamored at the dedication and thought out into the delivery. Unbelievable quality and great communication. She stayed in touch with any delays that wasn’t unexpected as photographers are busy people, making sure they have met clients expectations. She loved the images so much she wanted to showcase them and gave us several framed photographs at no additional charge. Allison took our engagement and wedding photos. She did an outstanding job making us both feel comfortable and facilitating the photo shoot so that they looked natural. Allison did an amazing job capturing natural light as well. She did an excellent job taking a variety of photos at the wedding ceremony while staying discrete. She is creative and does excellent work! Allison also did my boudoir shoot and it came out amazing! She was willing to go into a River up to her waist to get all the right angles!!! She goes over and beyond to make the photos everything we wanted them to be!

Allison truly goes ABOVE & BEYOND!! There are not enough words to express how amazing and talented she is!! When working with her you can feel how much she genuinely loves what she does and she truly makes you feel comfortable, confident and empowered. She spends the time to ensure that you will be beyond happy with your pictures and the overall experience! Not to mention she is the LIGHT QUEEN and her photography and artistic skills are excellent. My husband and I loved working with Allison. We met her for our engagement shoot about 9 months before our wedding and she immediately made us feel comfortable. I love our engagement and wedding photos because I think she really took the time to understand us as a couple. We had so much fun and our photos are beautiful. Allison is talented, creative, and kind. I hate having my picture taken but I can’t wait to have a reason to work with her again.

Allison is AMAZING. My husband and I feel incredibly lucky to have come across her profile on The Knot and work with her leading up to and on our wedding day. Allison is so warm and personable and made our engagement photo session fun, relaxing, and natural (my husband and I get awkward in front of the camera). She was always enthusiastic, excited, and went above and beyond her time with us. I didn't have to worry at all on my wedding day about the important moments being captured on camera, Allison was always two steps ahead. Our wedding was almost a month ago and we still have guests commenting on how professional and involved she was in getting photos (and how beautiful our engagement photos turned out). I can't recommend her enough! She was awesome to work with and her photos are beautiful, photos we will treasure for the rest of our lives!

Allison was hired for our September 2022 wedding. A discount was offered to us if we paid in full which we proceeded with after reading great reviews and getting to know Allison. Our engagement shoot was done by her in September 2021. Following this, we were promised our gallery the following week. After numerous attempts to reach Allison, we still had not received our engagement photos for almost a month following a myriad of excuses on her end. Communication was very poor immediately following paying her in full. The photos were beautiful. Moving forward we reached out to Allison closer to our wedding with multiple attempts with no responses for weeks at a time. Again, a plethora of excuses followed regarding why she wasn't responding to us. When it came time to reach out to her for a breakdown of how long photos would take the day of, Allison was not responding again for weeks. As a bride whose other vendors were relying on her timeline, we continued our best to reach her. We requested a Facetime call with her where I presented my concerns moving forward as final decisions for the wedding were being made. Allison apologized stating she is always "a chicken with her head cut off" and unorganized. Allison reassured us that she was very excited to shoot our big day and be there for us. When asked about the second shooter we had paid for, Allison stated she hadn't hired one for this wedding season. Following the phone call we had asked Allison what our options were moving forward with her. It was at this time, Allison sent us an email stating she was cancelling our contract 6 months out from our wedding and offered less than a 30% refund due to her backing out, leaving us out thousands of dollars and with no photographer for our wedding. The partial refund only covered the amount we paid for a second shooter. Allison believed at this time she earned her entire profit of this wedding that had been booked and paid for for 9 months that hasn’t even happened yet. A response was sent to her by us explaining the contract terms and requesting a refund that aligned more with the terms due to vendor cancellation. This was back on April 4th. Allison has never responded to us, blocking all of us and our family on social media and never even sent us the refund she did promise us. Thankfully our credit card company disputed the full charges for us and we were able to get our refund back from her after almost 90 days of unneeded stress, anxiety and worry surrounding our wedding day. When booking a photographer for your wedding day, proceed with caution booking Allison Marie Photography. We were taken advantage of by paying her in full and trusting her. Numerous other reviews are listed now stating similar stories and/or they never received their photos. I would not wish the stress and turmoil she has caused us and our families the last few months planning our wedding on anyone. Allison Marie Photography is unprofessional and untrustworthy. Extremely poor communication and her excuses should not be put onto paying clients. Allison attempted to "charge" us for our consultation as well after she cancelled. Think twice if this is a situation you want to put yourself in when hiring Allison Marie Photography for your wedding day. It’s also interesting that with each bad review for Allison Marie Photography, two 5-star reviews are immediately following them, that should be a red flag. I wish we had never hired Allison Marie Photography for our big day!!

Paid in full with the engagement package last summer. Engagement photos were lovely and she did drive to come take them. I really liked her work and personality. Unfortunately the Wedding was cancelled 4 months before the October date. No photos of a wedding were taken. Called multiple times to come to an agreement on a refund. She never got back to me and was paid for services that never occurred.

Absolutely outstanding photographer!! Allison captures every single detail throughout your big day. She is incredible to work with, highly professional and polished, and is extremely efficient. She made out day absolutely wonderful, and her work is gorgeous. Highly recommend!!

Allison did a great job capturing the candid moments as they happened but also posing us into positions that were more lifestyle images as well. She made my husband fee comfortable in front of a camera and got his real smile which doesn't happen in front of a camera before so I will definitely cherish those forever and look forward to family photos in future. There was a delay on the print box but it was worth the wait! She gifted us more prints and a canvas for it. Can't wait to have these hanging on my walls!

BEWARE - she comes across as a super nice person and makes taking photos a lot of fun…….HOWEVER……… you will NOT get your stuff. My son got married in September and just recently got the digital files. The contract states 3 months NOT 7 and she does not adhere to it. She still owes him the canvas portraits, the printed pictures and the box for them. She does NOT respond to you and when she does makes up every excuse in the book why she is behind. DON’T be fooled by her personality……. Unfortunately we DID. Going after her in small claims court. You have been warned!!!!

I whould not hire her been married since last July haven't received my stuff and she doesn't respond to anything

Allison is INCREDIBLE at telling your story!! She did not miss a moment!! The sneak peaks were wayyy bigger than I had imagined and the whole gallery was so detailed. I'm so in love with my photos!!!!!! I can't wait to hire her for future memories! What I loved the most was that she made myself and my husband both feel comfortable in front of a camera and that's a really hard task! She helped direct us which was what we needed.

From the engagements to the wedding to our Christmas session it's been so amazing to have a photographer that has been with us every step. She was so helpful with planning a timeline for the wedding day so everything ran smoothly. So thankful and blessed for her to capture our family memories and can't wait for our maternity session!

Amazing, talented, creative, personable, and so many other things don't even begin to describe Allison. She goes above and beyond with EVERY shoot. She made me feel so incredibly comfortable with a boudoir shoot when I was very unsure of myself and made me feel like the most beautiful bride. And the photos .... BREATHTAKING! You will not regret booking a shoot with Allison Marie Photography for anything you want. Her skill set is SO versatile! Boudoir, weddings, family, newborn, engagement ... you want it she will make it happen in ways you didn't even know were possible.

Allison is amazing! She has a way of making a bride feel comfortable and beautiful even if I didn’t 100% feel that way. She was creative and fun and made my day feel like the big deal it should be. I had several guests ask for her information for booking their own weddings and other photography needs. We received a prompt, beautiful sneak peak that captured the love that filled our day. Though we did have to wait three months to get our full gallery of images, I can say they were 100% worth the wait. Our wedding photos will be treasured for a lifetime. We have many beautiful, artistic images I am proud to hang on my wall. Her edits are gorgeous and provide a dreamy romantic quality I desired.

Allison did not give us everything we paid for per our contract and it took over a year to receive anything from her. We are still missing our engagement photos. I don’t recommend hiring her, it added way more stress when it came to wedding planning and added stress even after the wedding.

Allison is AMAZING! I can not say enough about her!! She was so accommodating, her photos are stunning and she’s so personable. She has a great energy, she made sure we had dinner and drinks at our wedding and filled our plates with food for us while we were with the videographer. My husband and I were honored to have Allison capture our wedding day. Leading up to our big day, she was organized, informed, and helpful. We did an engagement shoot with her to prepare for the wedding day, and we loved the photos from that. On our wedding day, she arrived on time and got right to work. She has an eye for love, and she didn’t miss a single detail when it was crunch time. My friends and family appreciated how easy Allison was to work with and how accommodating she was in the midst of the craziness. She was direct with instructions for big group photos, yet she gracefully captured our natural and intimate moments as well. I was honestly worried how I would look in the photos because I have some weird angles and I’m super critical of myself, but she made me feel so beautiful. She truly captured our happiest moments and made us look like models. We absolutely cherish our photographs, and we recommend Allison Marie Photography for any event or moment you want captured.

We booked Allison for our wedding on September 15th. When we chose her we would’ve never imagined how happy we would be with her! She arrived on time and ready to begin with pictures. My family can be pushy and she captured every moment that they grabbed her for. And got every photo we wanted before our ceremony. During our ceremony and reception she worked nonstop; only stopping when we insisted she go get some food from the buffet. You could tell she was constantly searching to make sure she got all the special moments. Even going in the rain at one point to capture a shot. She will laugh and cry with you all while doing her job; truly an amazing photographer and person! We cannot wait to see pictures from our special day!

Ali did a wonderful job for our daughter’s wedding at the Turning Stone resort. Her sneak peak pictures are beautiful and my daughter was thrilled. After initial sporadic communications, she really stepped up and and let us know her every move and thoughts for the day. During the entire ceremony and reception she often sought us out for what she was going to do but that was primarily my request, otherwise you would’ve hardly known she was even there. We would recommend miss Ali again.

During the reception she was always in the right place to capture moments not only of the bridal party but cherished family members.
