We hired Allison for our wedding and she was one of the best vendors we worked with. We bought a package that included our engagement pictures; we knocked out about 20 locations around the West Village in under 2 hours and the pictures were amazing. Allison was the perfect choice for a photographer. Her photos came out so beautifully and are timeless in style. Working with Allison was a breeze. It was the perfect night for a wedding; light breeze, not too hot/cold, and gentle music played while we ate dinner overlooking the water. The only thing missing was a picture perfect sunset, which had unfortunately not shown up during the expected timeframe. Suddenly, and much to our surprise, the clouds cleared and a bright pink sunset started to break free from the clouds. Allison was quickly fueling up during the dinner down time in order to prep for the dance party that lay ahead, so we snapped a quick iphone pic and planned on going back inside. Suddenly, just like sunset breaking free from the clouds, I see Allison making her way through the crowd of people with a look in her eye that let me know I am about to get the sunset pic of a lifetime. "LETS DO THIS" she said, as she led the way down to the waterfront. I am now the VERY happy owner of some jaw-droppingly beautiful sunset photos. Needless to say- Allison is not going to let you miss the shot. No matter what. Allison is THE BEST in every way possible. I could not have had more fun spending time with her on my wedding day. I am camera-shy and have never had professional photos taken before, which I assumed would make for some awkward looking pictures...I was wrong about that! Allison's energy will make you feel like you've known her forever, instantly putting you and your family/friends at ease in front of the camera. She works incredibly quickly, coming up with the right shots and flattering angles in literal seconds. We truly could not believe that the amazing pictures she was showing us had been taken so seemingly effortlessly, and at a speed that meant nobody was standing around! I chose Allison to photograph my wedding when I saw how happy and bright her work is- she really brings out the color & light in the people and atmosphere she shoots. I wish I could give Allison 100 stars ***** She is THE best photographer and most amazing person to work with! Allison is so talented and her work leaves me breathless! I had the pleasure of meeting Allison at my best friends wedding in September 2020, during the craziness of Covid. On top of her excellent photography skills and imagination, I remembered her being so accommodating and helpful to the bridesmaids and especially the bride when her dress broke! Allison did not hesitate to help fix the dress. My friends pictures came out BEAUTIFUL! Fast forward to my engagement in March 2021. Without hesitation, Allison was the first vendor I booked for my April 2022 wedding. My husband and I did an engagement photo shoot in downtown Collingswood, and Allison made us feel so comfortable. Allison is absolutely phenomenal! When my husband and I were looking for photographers, we wanted someone whose photos were full of color, and once we saw examples of Allison's work, we knew we had to hire her. We got married on January 15, 2022 and our preview photos that we received the next day blew us away, not too long after, we received our gallery. When we first watched the slideshow of our ~1500 photos, we were in tears. Each and every picture was stunning. We were in awe of Allison's skill to take the most beautiful pictures of us and our families. Finding a photographer was something I put off as I am not one who likes to get my picture taken. But after just one phone call with Allison, I felt at ease. Allison is simply amazing. You cannot go wrong if you book with her!! I got married on 10/9/21 and it’s taken me awhile to write this because I’m so sad that my time with Allison is over! I cannot express my sincere gratitude toward her enough! I found Allison here on The Knot and later realized she had done my husband’s cousin’s wedding. From the minute I talked to her on December 23, 2019, I knew she was going to be awesome to work with. She was very detailed about her process for wedding day photos and her experience alone was impressive. When we finally met her in June 2020 for our engagement session, my feelings were validated. I later worked with Allison in March 2021 for a boudoir session for my husband. In both my engagement session and my boudoir session, I was super comfortable with Allison as she is super professional and experienced, and her pictures are just amazing. Leading up to the wedding, she would check up with my husband and I to make sure all was well (considering all our wedding planning was done in the height of covid). The day of the wedding, she came to my Grandfather’s where I was getting ready and she did her thing and kept things running smoothly and certainly calmed my nerves with her quickness, kindness, and professionalism. She called the shots and helped our video team get some pretty amazing shots as well. She knows exactly what she is doing and could probably do what she does in her sleep! I am amazed and grateful at how well she worked with my family and bridal party to make sure all the photos were done as quickly and as perfectly as possible. She was there to capture such beautiful moments, she calmed my 3 year old niece down and got her to cooperate, and she calmed my inconsolable father. So many of my guests commented on how great and professional she was and that really validated my decision to have her be our wedding photographer (even though I already knew I made the absolute best decision ever!) . At the end of the night when she told me she was leaving, I cried because she became more of a friend to me and I will forever be grateful for her and all the amazing moments and photos she captured. From the first look at Allison's book we knew we wanted to hire her, and then meeting her only confirmed our impression. Allison is a true artist and an amazing human being. She takes wedding photography to a whole new level. My husband and I were talking the night after the wedding and agreed that it takes a special kind of person to be a wedding photographer because you need to not only have an amazing eye for photography, but you need to understand how to manage people and the stress that they can endure during the wedding process. Both Allison and her assistant, Eric, have that special quality a million times over. They (along with my amazing wedding planner - Crystal Hunt of Shore Thing Event Services) were my saving grace throughout my wedding. They helped me keep it together when I started to get nervous or upset about tiny details or family not doing exactly what I wanted/needed in a particular moment. They were able to keep me focused on the big picture, or even distract me when I needed a moment of that. And all the while, they were taking the most extraordinary photographs. We were so lucky to have worked with Allison not once, but twice! Allison photographed our micro wedding during the pandemic and then round #2 at Valenzano Winery. There are not enough words to describe Allison and her team! She made us feel comfortable in front of the camera and utilized all of our surroundings. My husband and I got married in our backyard which was Allison's first time shooting at this "venue". Allison was able to use multiple areas in our yard as well as our neighbors to capture the beautiful moments from our wedding! Allison is truly so amazing at what she does! She is kind, patient, creative, and very talented. At our engagement session, we were a bit nervous and Allison put us at ease. We spent the whole time laughing. She went to several stops with us and made sure that our photos turned out beautifully and represented us as a couple. Leading up to the wedding, Allison was calm and so professional. She made sure our timeline was set up, accommodating our very large families and also taking into account the heat. Allison really listened to us and paid attention to what we needed. She encouraged us to take in the moments of our wedding and we so appreciate that! My husband tore his Achilles’ tendon 6 weeks before our wedding. He was in a boot and had recently started walking without crutches on the big day. Allison made sure he could sit down when needed. She is so brilliant at what she does you don’t even notice the boot in our photos. She truly delivered for us every step of the way! Allison is the best! Choosing her was the best decision for my wedding day! We had our engagement shoot with her back in December of 2019 and the pictures were fantastic. Our wedding got postponed a year and luckily she was available for our new date. She was quick to answer any questions for us and always stayed in touch. Once the wedding day was here I knew she was the best choice! She got all the best shots at the church, outdoors and at the reception. Everyone had fantastic things to say about her. I cannot even put into words how much I love Allison. She was one of the first vendors we booked for our wedding and by far one of our favorites. We had to reschedule our engagement shoot multiple times due to COVID restrictions and Allison was flexible throughout it all. When we finally got around to taking the photos Allison was amazingly friendly and professional and managed to put my very camera shy fiance at ease. Our wedding was this past weekend and I cannot wait to get our photos back! If they are anything like our engagement photos I know I will struggle to pick a favorite!

I cannot say enough good things about Allison. She is a beautiful person inside and out and is incredibly passionate about being a photographer. When looking for a photographer, Allison's stunning pictures are what initially made me reach out to her. Allison's prices are extremely fair. I loved that she included an engagement shoot- this allowed us to meet her and work with her before our wedding day, that way we could all get a feel for each other. Allison even encouraged us to bring our dogs, which meant so much to us. She also took her shoes off, rolled up her jeans and got into the ocean in February just to get the shots she wanted. For our wedding, Allison had a very structured timeline and made notes of every type of photo I wanted to ensure we got them all!! She also made everyone feel so comfortable in front of the camera. I am so in love with our photos!! She has incredible vision and is so talented. Allison became more than our photographer, she became our friend and we hope to have her be apart of all of our major life events in the future.

What initially drew us to Allison was her organization and communication. On our wedding day her schedule, attention to detail, and compassionate personality genuinely saved the day. Allison was not simply an amazing photographer, that captures gorgeous light, she was a problem solver. She was on the ball and constantly aiming to help and please. Allison personally fixed my bustle with a safety pin, and made sure I remembered to eat! She also helped my husband with his boutonnière . My purpose for mentioning this is not to sell Allison as a personal assistant, her creative work is flawless! However, I mention the kindness and attention to your feeling/mood because the day is very stressful. It was extremely reassuring to have her by my side. If you are a worry wort or control freak, you will be at complete ease with Allison. Thank you again!
