Allison McCafferty Photography

t wouldn't be running all around and making a scene throughout our ceremony and reception. She truly listened to what we were looking for and her quality of work is top notch. I would highly recommend Allison for any bride getting married at the Jersey Shore. You won't regret it!

e had someone to capture our authentic, natural relationship but also have the flexibility with my corporate job. We looked and found Alison via social media and I loved her work right away. What I loved about her work was very natural, not significantly altered pictures and packages. She immediately worked with us in our timeline, met us for our engagement shoot and we can tell she was incredibly talented and most of all made us feel comfortable. My husband and I were very nervous through the process but 10 minutes meeting Alison we felt so comfortable and got amazing photos. I shared my vision for the pictures and she guided us to make sure we got the best areas to make they come to life; they came out perfect. Fast forward to the planning of the big day, I was nervous and changed things a few times on getting ready to pictures around the town.l timeline etc. She gave me her honest opinion and I truly valued having someone to bounce those things off with who knew it all. On my wedding day, we could not ask for a better photographer. She was there to capture every moment of my girls and the guys and my family. She was so professional and left me with nothing to do but smile big! She got all pictures and requests from my big family(200ppl) and everything came out perfect. The turn around time was remarkable; both the engagement shoot and the wedding pictures were available before I even asked. These pictures mean the world to me and were captured and edited with care! I will be using Alison for all my life moments moving forward and if you are looking for a natural look, a photographer to capture all the candid moments, the most professional worker and great person all around; I HIGHLY recommend Alison!

ful to have these photos to look back on our day forever. She had our full album ready for us in less than three weeks, and no one could believe how quick that was! She and Kelly were so easy to work with and really made us feel at ease throughout the entire process. We couldn’t recommend Allison enough!!

os within the month after we got married, which I've heard is pretty unprecedented in the industry. Would highly recommend working with her!

ealizing. Not only are the photos everything we could have asked for, but they're well-lit, vibrant, and edited to their true colors. Coordination leading up to our wedding was super easy and communication was seamless. Allison and Carrie went above and beyond, choosing them for our wedding was the best decision we made. Thank you!! - James and Jamie

husband and I at ease. It wasn't just another business transaction; it felt like we were talking to a trusted friend. Throughout the entire process, Allison was incredibly professional and organized. She was responsive to emails and phone calls, and she always took the time to answer our questions and address any concerns. But what truly sets Allison apart is her talent and passion for photography. She has a unique eye for capturing the raw emotions and genuine moments of a wedding day. Her photos are not just beautiful; they tell a story, capturing the joy, the love, and the laughter of our special day. On the day of the wedding, Allison was like a calming presence amidst the whirlwind of activity. She expertly managed to capture all of the important moments, from the getting-ready photos to the first dance, without ever feeling intrusive. She even went above and beyond by helping me get into my wedding dress! The final photos were beyond anything we could have imagined. They were absolutely stunning, capturing the essence of our wedding day perfectly. We are so grateful to Allison and her assistant Kelly for giving us these precious memories that we will cherish for a lifetime. If you are looking for a wedding photographer who is not only talented and professional but also warm and personable, then look no further than Allison McCafferty Photography. You will not be disappointed!

Our bridal party, parents and guests were talking about how kind and amazing her and Kelly were. Our pictures came out so amazing and we will cherish them forever. She captured our love and day perfectly. My sister is now using Allison for her 2024 wedding and we all can't wait!!! :)

phy is fantastic, she is kind, and is just an absolute pleasure to work with. She makes the whole process feel so organic, as she loves taking candid shots and capturing the moments. Even if you don't know how to do candid things in front of a camera, she is great at guiding you and making you feel comfortable. She is also so fast with sneak peaks and we received all of our photos a month after our wedding! We highly recommend Allison for any wedding or engagement photos!

ound the West Village in under 2 hours and the pictures were amazing. Cecilia was working with Allison for our wedding day; they were both easy to work with and fun to be around. We truly can’t say enough good things about them - awesome people and photographers! Not a moment was missed from the night. A must hire!

l. She is top notch. We are still getting compliments from guests about how good she is. Highly recommend Allison for capturing all the special moments of your big day!

uring our engagement photos and on the big day. She is incredibly talented, supremely flexible, and a delight to work with. The quality of service she and her team provided is unmatched, we will absolutely be using her for any future photography needs.

o, regardless of where his wheelchair could go, and she was ready to move mountains for him the entire day. She made the day fun and stress free. She is the best!

sprayed by a champagne bottle so we could have beautiful celebratory shots.

ere captured forever and if you are in need of a photographer, look no further!

edding! Hands down she is the best photographer at there! I couldn’t thank her enough for making my wedding dreams come true!

ditional photos but also requested several quirky shots. Allison and her partner for the day went above and beyond to make them all a reality. The day was magical and as any bride knows the peace of mind Allison provided to me was priceless. She was professional, prompt and really listened to what we were looking for. She managed the time and the day to make sure we got done in time for our cocktail hour. LOOK NO FURTHER... HIRE ALLISON:)

res. Allison was always quick to respond to any questions or concerns. I received my sneak preview very shortly after the wedding and the pictures are beautiful. We found Allison on Instagram and that alone made us want to book with her. Her pictures are stunning. I cannot wait to see the rest of the pictures from our wedding day! I would 💯 recommend her to anyone for their special day.

fortable and natural throughout the entire day! We received a sneak peek the day after our wedding and we were blown away by them, and just amazed when we received the full gallery a few weeks later. She captured our day PERFECTLY!! I'll be recommending her to everyone I know - she's the perfect choice for your wedding day!!

red all the pictures I requested and more! I am so happy I chose Allison for my wedding day and I hope you do the same !

ning to end. we loved Allison’s work we fell in love when she did my brothers wedding.

edgeable and helpful. On the day of the wedding she jumped right in. She was calming when I needed it and excited all day long. It felt like having a friend with us throughout the day. Getting our photos back (and quickly) was like reliving our day all over. I will recommend Allison forever and ever.

fect sunset, which had unfortunately not shown up during the expected timeframe. Suddenly, and much to our surprise, the clouds cleared and a bright pink sunset started to break free from the clouds. Allison was quickly fueling up during the dinner down time in order to prep for the dance party that lay ahead, so we snapped a quick iphone pic and planned on going back inside. Suddenly, just like sunset breaking free from the clouds, I see Allison making her way through the crowd of people with a look in her eye that let me know I am about to get the sunset pic of a lifetime. "LETS DO THIS" she said, as she led the way down to the waterfront. I am now the VERY happy owner of some jaw-droppingly beautiful sunset photos. Needless to say- Allison is not going to let you miss the shot. No matter what. Allison is THE BEST in every way possible. I could not have had more fun spending time with her on my wedding day. I am camera-shy and have never had professional photos taken before, which I assumed would make for some awkward looking pictures...I was wrong about that! Allison's energy will make you feel like you've known her forever, instantly putting you and your family/friends at ease in front of the camera. She works incredibly quickly, coming up with the right shots and flattering angles in literal seconds. We truly could not believe that the amazing pictures she was showing us had been taken so seemingly effortlessly, and at a speed that meant nobody was standing around! I chose Allison to photograph my wedding when I saw how happy and bright her work is- she really brings out the color & light in the people and atmosphere she shoots. The pictures are spectacular, and I feel so strongly that she captured the love we were all feeling that day, the essence of who we are as people, and the happiness that will be felt whenever we think of our wedding. Thank you Allison for letting our wedding live on in pictures the exact way I hoped it would- if not better.

pleasure of meeting Allison at my best friends wedding in September 2020, during the craziness of Covid. On top of her excellent photography skills and imagination, I remembered her being so accommodating and helpful to the bridesmaids and especially the bride when her dress broke! Allison did not hesitate to help fix the dress. My friends pictures came out BEAUTIFUL! Fast forward to my engagement in March 2021. Without hesitation, Allison was the first vendor I booked for my April 2022 wedding. My husband and I did an engagement photo shoot in downtown Collingswood, and Allison made us feel so comfortable. These photos came out beautifully. Thanks to Allison and her assistant Tara, our wedding day photo schedule was seamless and the photos turned out to be even more magical than we had ever imagined. They both captured every single moment and every emotion of our guests and family members who were celebrating with us. Josh and I will be forever thankful to Allison, Tara, the talent they possess, and their genuine kindness!

flow effortlessly, you didn't even know she was there yet she somehow captured all the special moments and even managed to place an extra sparkle to every photograph! She truly made every vision I had for my wedding pictures come true and her delivery of both the sneak peek photos and full album was faster than I could imagine. If you are looking for a photographer, look no further, you won't find better than Allison!

so quickly). Told us exactly what to do and was not too overwhelming for us. Highly recommend!

k, we knew we had to hire her. We got married on January 15, 2022 and our preview photos that we received the next day blew us away, not too long after, we received our gallery. When we first watched the slideshow of our ~1500 photos, we were in tears. Each and every picture was stunning. We were in awe of Allison's skill to take the most beautiful pictures of us and our families. She captured every precious moment we shared with our parents, our bridal parties, our guests, and most importantly, each other. Allison was such a joy to work with, she loves what she does, and she is amazing at it. If you are in need of a wedding photographer, I highly recommend hiring Allison, you won't regret it!

looked at for the rest of our lives. Allison told us exactly what we needed to do in order to take amazing photos- photos that are actually breathtaking. She is so talented and her artistic eye is unmatched. Do yourself a favor and book her ASAP! She books up fast!!

ou could truly feel the love in them. I have received endless compliments on our photographs and I could not be happier. I highly recommend her to capture your day!

ff as I am not one who likes to get my picture taken. But after just one phone call with Allison, I felt at ease. We did our engagement session with Allison this fall and after just a few minutes, we felt extremely comfortable. She made the session fun while capturing so many incredible photos. She was even patient with our dog (who was so poorly behaved!) On our wedding day, she was very organized and made the picture taking process enjoyable. Once the reception started, she blended in with the guests. The next morning at brunch, she sent us sneak peak pictures and everyone loved looking at them. A week after that, she sent us even more pictures! Every picture is stunning. The posed pictures are just beautiful, but the candid shots she was able to get will help the memories from our special day live on. Thank you for everything, Allison-you are truly the best!

s over! I cannot express my sincere gratitude toward her enough! I found Allison here on The Knot and later realized she had done my husband’s cousin’s wedding. From the minute I talked to her on December 23, 2019, I knew she was going to be awesome to work with. She was very detailed about her process for wedding day photos and her experience alone was impressive. When we finally met her in June 2020 for our engagement session, my feelings were validated. I later worked with Allison in March 2021 for a boudoir session for my husband. In both my engagement session and my boudoir session, I was super comfortable with Allison as she is super professional and experienced, and her pictures are just amazing. Leading up to the wedding, she would check up with my husband and I to make sure all was well (considering all our wedding planning was done in the height of covid). The day of the wedding, she came to my Grandfather’s where I was getting ready and she did her thing and kept things running smoothly and certainly calmed my nerves with her quickness, kindness, and professionalism. She called the shots and helped our video team get some pretty amazing shots as well. She knows exactly what she is doing and could probably do what she does in her sleep! I am amazed and grateful at how well she worked with my family and bridal party to make sure all the photos were done as quickly and as perfectly as possible. She was there to capture such beautiful moments, she calmed my 3 year old niece down and got her to cooperate, and she calmed my inconsolable father. So many of my guests commented on how great and professional she was and that really validated my decision to have her be our wedding photographer (even though I already knew I made the absolute best decision ever!) . At the end of the night when she told me she was leaving, I cried because she became more of a friend to me and I will forever be grateful for her and all the amazing moments and photos she captured. Allison, thank you from the bottom of my heart for everything!!! You are the epitome of beautiful photography and professionalism. I hope to work with you again someday… maybe for maternity and family photos!!!❤️

kes wedding photography to a whole new level. My husband and I were talking the night after the wedding and agreed that it takes a special kind of person to be a wedding photographer because you need to not only have an amazing eye for photography, but you need to understand how to manage people and the stress that they can endure during the wedding process. Both Allison and her assistant, Eric, have that special quality a million times over. They (along with my amazing wedding planner - Crystal Hunt of Shore Thing Event Services) were my saving grace throughout my wedding. They helped me keep it together when I started to get nervous or upset about tiny details or family not doing exactly what I wanted/needed in a particular moment. They were able to keep me focused on the big picture, or even distract me when I needed a moment of that. And all the while, they were taking the most extraordinary photographs. There truly is no one I would have rather had with me on this most special of days, and I can't thank Allison enough. I'm so happy that our wedding brought her into our lives, as she is now more than just our photographer; she is a friend.

and my husband stumbled upon Allison's page, and boy are we glad we did! Allison was nothing short of amazing throughout the entire process. Her sweet and inviting personality made me feel as if we had know each other for years! She made myself, my husband, my family, and all of my guests feel so comfortable through the whole photograph process, and not to mention the amazing shots she captured that we will be able to cherish forever. Allison, I cannot thank you enough for making our big day so wonderful! PS. definitely inquire about her boudoir shoots... you and your husband will not be disappointed ;)

on more. We also loved her assistant Abhi who was extremely fun. The best part was the quick turnaround of sneak peek pictures! We have received so many compliments on the photos, some people even saying they’re the best wedding pictures they have ever seen. We cannot wait for the whole album. Thank you again!

beat. She is professional, kind, fun and really knows her stuff! She captured the most incredible shots of our special day and candid moments that I never wanted to leave my mind, and thanks to Allison, they never will. Highly recommend for any of your photography needs!

r favorites. She did an amazing job capturing our day. Allison really goes above and beyond for her bride and groom. She helped me safety pin my dress when it malfunctioned, and did all she could to keep me calm before the ceremony. My husband and I truly appreciated Allison’s work, easygoing personality, and patience!

us sneak peaks back so quickly, which was so fun to look at the morning after our wedding. Our photos have turned out so good and her and Clayton documented our day perfectly! Thank you, Allison!

nd pretty quickly I realized she would be the only. She offers packages that have everything you need at a very reasonable price. From our engagement shoot to our big day, she made my husband and I feel very comfortable taking photos that we are not used to taking all while looking natural in the end result! I could not be happier with how all of our photos turned out and I couldn't recommend Allison more for your big day! Thank you to Allison and Kelly for allowing us to constantly relive our special day with all of the incredible moments you captured.

take beautiful photos, but she got the album to us quicker than some of our friends got their first look from other photogs. Allison is the best of the best. It was raining the morning of our wedding and I was freaking out. Allison looked at me and said "I'm not worried. We're going to make this work." Well, the sun came out. She's passionate about what she does and her excitement to get the perfect shot makes you excited. You'll never feel forced in a photo with Allison, she makes everything so easy. Allison was the best decision we made!

BLE eye. She captures all the moments you hope to have captured at your wedding ceremony and reception. She listened to what we were looking for in regards to time frame, family portraits, and candids. We cannot say enough about how much we loved Allison (and her assistant) as our photographer(s). We get to relive the best day of our lives over and over again simply because she was able to capture our day and favorite moments so well. Simply look through her gallery (especially on Instagram) to see the pure bliss in each and every photo. Thank you Allison! Hiring you was one of the best (and easiest) decisions during our wedding planning process.

in our backyard which was Allison's first time shooting at this "venue". Allison was able to use multiple areas in our yard as well as our neighbors to capture the beautiful moments from our wedding! Her second shooter Kelly was just as wonderful which made our day even more enjoyable. Allison and Kelly were conscious and aware of our timeline and needs throughout the day. They continuously offered me water in between shots which may not seem like a huge task, but it is something that I am very appreciative and thankful for since drinking water was the last thing on my mind. It felt like Allison and Kelly were apart of our family who were there to celebrate our day with us instead of working. We received a handful of our photos and still waiting for our complete gallery, but I couldn't wait to leave Allison a review! I have no doubts in my mind that the remainder of our photos will be just as beautiful as our sneak peeks! I recommend anyone and everyone to use Allison to capture the precious moments in your life. I plan to use her in the future for any photographic needs! Thank you Allison and Kelly! I'm so, so, so excited and happy that we spent our wedding day with you!

nt the whole time laughing. She went to several stops with us and made sure that our photos turned out beautifully and represented us as a couple. Leading up to the wedding, Allison was calm and so professional. She made sure our timeline was set up, accommodating our very large families and also taking into account the heat. Allison really listened to us and paid attention to what we needed. She encouraged us to take in the moments of our wedding and we so appreciate that! My husband tore his Achilles’ tendon 6 weeks before our wedding. He was in a boot and had recently started walking without crutches on the big day. Allison made sure he could sit down when needed. She is so brilliant at what she does you don’t even notice the boot in our photos. She truly delivered for us every step of the way! We are so grateful to Allison for capturing our best day ever so perfectly!
