The moment I walked into Allure Bridal Salon Bonnie and Rita made me feel welcomed and special. Bonnie was so sweet, took her time with me, and even pulled a wild card dress that ended up being my wedding dress! They allowed me to order a detachable skirt to put on another dress to create a one of a kind piece. During my dress fittings Rita made sure it fit to me like a glove and ensured everything was perfect. On my wedding day, I felt comfortable and absolutely beautiful in this dress and I have that to thank Bonnie and Rita. This salon is personable, reliable, and you won’t be disappointed.

Not worth the terrible customer service. They will be kind until an issue arises, then they become rude, defensive, and avoidant. My dress "mysteriously" was several inches shorter than the shortest length the manufacturer offers, but they insisted they never hemmed it. They even retook my measurements, which hadn't changed, trying to say I must have grown. They also scam people on alterations, making small changes over multiple appointments to rack up charges for minimal work. I wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy. I've never been treated or spoken to so poorly.

I had a wonderful experience at Allure Bridal Salon! It was the only place I went wedding dress shopping. I tried on dresses in the middle of the week, and I practically had a private appointment - I was able to try on as many dresses as I wanted! They later picked out the perfect cathedral length veil for me, and alterations went smoothly. On the day of the wedding, I had so many people complimenting my dress, and some even said it was the most beautiful dress they had ever seen! Thank you so much, Allure Bridal Salon!

All sales are final even if it doesn’t fit after alterations - wish someone told me that before I paid $500! I bought a dress two days ago and at first I was really happy. It was short and fun, a little out of my price range but I was in a hurry as I get married tomorrow and the dress I from ordered somewhere else didn’t fit! They rushed the alterations on the dress for me which I was super grateful for but when I had a small problem with the dress (it started to rip when I took a deep breath because it was still too small.) the woman working on the dress got visibly upset and started yelling. I have no memory of their seamstress taking any measurements with an actual tape measure and when I asked if they needed any they told me she already had them so I guess that should have been my first red flag. I have anxiety so when she started yelling I got really uncomfortable and decided to just leave. Unfortunately, they make you pay for everything before doing any alterations and now I can’t get a refund. I have no money for a new dress now either because this was so out of my price range. I hoped when I asked for the cups to be smaller because I have a small chest they actually adjusted the dress because it had built in boning and it makes my tiny chest disappear completely. So disappointed.

Great selection of gorgeous gowns. We found my dress, bridesmaid dresses, and my mother's dress here. Staff was helpful and never pressured us. Could not have been happier with my dress. Thank you!

My dress turned out wonderfully. I had a-lot of alterations and they were all accommodated. Though I had to come in every week for about 2 months, it was well worth it to assure I had my perfect dress. They accommodated my busy schedule as well.

I had a great experience with Allure. My sister got her wedding dress there, my other sister had her bridesmaids dresses from there, and I had both my wedding dress and bridesmaids dresses from there. The customer service was excellent, the selection was great, and the prices were fair. I love that they let you look around and do NOT hound you. Many bridal salons pressure you and do not let you be on your own. The wonderful women at Allure let you look without hounding you but are also there to help. I would HIGHLY recommend them.

After visiting one other salon before, we went in without an appointment (sorry!) hoping to just look around, and my sister instantly found my perfect dress. they are excellent from start to finish! they made my bridal vision become a reality. I feel like a queen in my gown. it was practically custom made with all the detailed alterations they did for me. they are a group of very professional and talented women and you cannot find better anywhere! so sweet, too, they always made me feel good and special. love them!

My sister made an appointment to try a certain bridesmaid dress on for my wedding. She called ahead of time and gave them the style number and they told her they had it. When we arrived, they said our appointment was an hour later than what they stated on the phone the day before. They told us someone would be with us shortly. After looking for ten minutes, we had to go up to them to ask for help. They looked for the dress we came in for and ended up telling us that it is no longer available, something they could have told us over the phone instead of our wasting our time. Very poor communication. Giving them three stars is being generous.

The ladies at Allure were incredibly helpful and worked with me to find my dream dress within my budget! All alterations were done perfectly and the dress was everything I imagined for the big day! Only reason I did not give five stars is that two days before the wedding, I was called saying they gave me the wrong viel and asked if they could get it from me. When I asked if they would bring the right one, they said I did not order one. After getting my receipt, they apologized for the confusion, that I did have the right viel (which was at a family members house, and had my name on it). A panic that no bride should have to deal with two days before the wedding! Also, a detail that was to be sewn onto the outside of my dress was sewn onto the inside, but was corrected when my mother went to get the dress. Aside from a little panic within the two days before the wedding, the ladies were helpful and the selection is great.

Not at all what I expecting based on the website and reviews. They have good review on the knot and based on what I saw on their website they looked like a great and affordable place to look for wedding dresses. My mom and I went to look and could not believe their customer service. We got there about 10 minutes before my appointment and started looking around until someone was available to assist us. We found that prices looked very reasonable. The woman who was assigned to us was not attentive at all. She put me in a dressing room on my own with one dress at a time and told me to let her know if I needed help (which of course I would need because who can zip and fasten all the buttons on a dress themselves?) I kept having to wait forever for her to come back and clip the dress to help me see what it would look like if it actually fit. All of their dresses were huge on me and she did a terrible job clipping them compared to the other places I've visited. I could not visualize myself wearing any of the dresses because they all just looked like they fit all wrong. The sales lady just kept telling me they would look better/different when I got it in my size, and then kept offering to sell me the sample for a discount. My mom and I wanted to leave about 5 minutes into the appointment, it was such a waste of our time.

I ended up buying my dream wedding dress from here. I had seen this dress previously, but once I tried it on again I knew it was the one. Their prices were reasonable. I was even able to get my veil custom made to what I had wanted. The staff was very friendly and nice. My only suggestion is communicating with customers on when their orders will arrive.

I cannot rave enough about this place.! I found my dream dress here. The owner and coworkers are absolutely amazing, and made sure the dress fit me like it was supposed too! Every time I had to go in for a fitting, they made the experience so much fun. BEAUTIFUL wedding dresses, and great people. What more can you ask for?! I recommend Allure Bridal in Livonia 100%.

The ladies at Allure Bridal Salon are so helpful! I came in with pictures of dresses that I liked and luckily they had one of them in stock! (They have a Very large selection of gowns). I bought my dream dress and so will all my bridesmaids!

Amazing quality service, we really felt taken care of at this salon. A lot of selection and the consultants are so experienced they can figure out what you are looking for and bring out more options. They really strive to make their brides and customers happy!

I absolutely loved my wedding gown from Allure in Livonia. I had my dress customized, and they did an amazing job with alterations and were super attentive and accommodating throughout the whole process. I received so many compliments on my dress and felt amazing in it for my wedding! The women who work there are wonderful. I highly recommend them!

Rita and her staff are true wedding dress professionals! They do not stop until you feel your most beautiful in your wedding dress! They worked within our budget, alterations were done onsite and flawless, and I felt like I was their only client (but I knew they were sooo busy)! When you schedule a time for a fitting, it is all about YOU! They make you feel so special! They have a dress for everyone - and I would go back in a second if I have a wedding to attend or a wedding to stand up in! But, as a bride, I was blown away! I am in love with everyone who works there and my dress! I want to wear it again!!

I loved working with the ladies at Allure and I will be recommending them to every bride I know. My sister got her wedding dress from them a few years ago and I got my dress from them for my March 2017 wedding. I was very nervous about finding the right dress as I only had a couple months to put together my wedding. They were so patient with me and easy to work with. They were not at all intimidating or pushy like some other shops I tried. They listened to what I was looking for and helped me find the perfect dress for me, and made the needed alterations in a timely manner. I am so happy I chose Allure Bridal Salon!

I didn't plan on getting my dress right away, bit Rita was very helpful in listening to what I had to say and she found the perfect dress for me! I was very pleased! The price was great and the service was wonderful! They also accommodated me bringing relatives back to the shop so I could model the dress in person.

I got my wedding dress here in the Fall and I'm so happy!!!! Bonnie is the owner and she is amazing! When we walked in I told her what I wanted, she pulled dresses for me and off we went. She helped me put on every gown, complimenting me on each. I ended up choosing the first gown Bonnie pulled off the rack for me. I was in and out within a hour. I can't wait for my dress to come in! She also helped me with finding a veil and belt to go with my gown. They have a wide selection, you will find your dress ladies! I can't reccomend this salon enough!!!

I loved my experience at this bridal salon! I went to Allure after recommdations from three friends. They had such a wide selection within my price range that I didn't feel limited like at other salons I visited. Bonnie helped me select dresses and it was Bonnie who ultimately pulled the dress that ended up being "the one!" She even chose the perfect vail to match my dress. I couldn't have asked for a better experience!

Unfortunately, I did not have a positive experience with this bridal salon. I scheduled an appointment for a Saturday morning. When I arrived I told the young lady at the desk that I had an appointment scheduled. She told me that someone would be with me shortly. My mom and I started looking around on our own. There were two other brides in the salon and their appointments had run over. 20 minus plus went by and no one came to help us pull dresses. It was pointless to make an appointment here because we never received any assistance from the staff. They were too focused on making a sale from the brides that were already there instead of servicing a potential customer as well.

I purchased my wedding dress from Allure and also had my alterations done there. I worked with Bonnie, she was wonderful. I showed her some photos of what I had in mind and one of the first dresses she chose for me ended up being the one! I also chose a headpiece and a beaded belt for my dress from Allure that complemented my dress perfectly. The alterations appointments went well, I had my dress fitted 3 or 4 times before it was perfect, but it was all worth it. My dress was perfect for me and Allure made sure that it fit exactly right for my big day!

I had only been looking a few times and almost didn't even make it to my appointment because of the crazy first snow of the year, but I am so glad that I did because I found my dress quickly! Dress shopping for me was kind of strange at first, because I am not your typical girly girl. But, coming in i kind of already knew what I was looking for and Bonnie was such a great help and made the experience fun for me and my crew! They was helpful in making sure I knew the prices of all the gowns (such a great range) and worked with me to make the gown and the price just right for me! I can't wait for my wedding in August 2016 and wish that it was sooner because I cannot wait to wear my dress!

Positive things about this shop: -Good dress selection -Very friendly staff. I could tell they cared. Things I thought they could do better: -The store felt crammed/unorganized -Staff absolutely was friendly, but it just felt like they were spread a little thin/unorganized. I would be in the fitting room putting a dress on and no one would be there to make sure I was getting helped with zipping dresses up/clipping it so I felt sort of awkward asking my family who came with me to come in and help. I'd like to think that it was just a one day thing. It's hard for me to give them a 3 because I felt like they had the potential for a 4-5.

The salon has so many selections for bridal dresses. I am a first time bride and Rita made the experience so special. We had one on one help, she listened to what I was looking for and offered her specialty to help guide me. I would recommend any bride looking for a beautiful dress and great service to go to Allure!!!

I tend to be pretty practical - I will give you my business if you are professional and if you deserve it - so many vendors don't. This shop hit the mark! I was hoping to find my dress here because I really wanted to give them my business. I even considered finding a dress I liked elsewhere and asking them to order it (which I know they have been able to do for other brides!). They ladies were so sweet and really helpful. I loved my experience here. I ended up going with another shop, which I loved and who were equally helpful and professional. But I could not more highly recommend these ladies! And when you spend I think over $500 on a dress, they will give you a free veil! Great value and wonderful people :)

These ladies KNOW their stuff! My mom, sisters and I all went in one day just to look and try a few styles right after I got engaged. I was SO not planning on deciding on my dress that day, but it happened! After trying out a few of the dresses I *thought* that I liked, I was down to the last one on the rack, and wasn't overly impressed with it either. My consultant Bonnie, knew what I wanted before I did. She pulled one last dress, and told me to try it and see what I thought. As soon as I stepped out of the dressing room, my mom burst into tears, my sisters were all crying, and I got a little misty eyed too. For being one who doesn't get overly emotional about things like that, I had to take that as a sign! Allure did all of my alterations, and that gown fit like a glove. I have NEVER felt that beautiful in my entire life! Thank you Allure!!

Allure Bridal Salon provided more than I ever could have asked for when shopping for my wedding dress! From the moment my mom and I walked in they were so helpful and caring. They gave me one on one help in finding the dress I was looking for and I felt like they really listened to me in the process. I felt no pressure from them in choosing one of their dresses (unlike a few other stores I had previously been to). Once I decided on the dress I also had my alterations done there. The alterations were PERFECT!! I felt nervous along the way that it might not fit how I wanted but they were so detail oriented and continued to make changes here and there until the dress was exactly right! They also added a sash to the dress that I had bought from a different shop and they were so helpful in making sure the entire process went smoothly and done on time. I picked my dress up in plenty of time before our wedding and it was more than I could have ever asked for! I received SO many compliments and it was by far one of my most favorite parts of our day. I STRONGLY recommend Allure Bridal Salon and all the wonderful ladies that work so hard there!

I bought my dress there but only because that's the only store in the area that carried it. Price was great but the customer service was horrible. Had very little help, kind of felt like I was being rushed out.

I visited Allure Bridal at the recommendation of a friend, and I am so glad that I did! I found my dream dress -- which I unknowingly pinned on Pinterest months earlier -- at an incredible price. Thank you for a wonderful dress that I will cherish for the rest of my life!

I decided to use Allure for my bridesmaid dresses. Overall I would say that they are okay. It took about 4 months for my dresses to come in, they looked great. However, the tags that they place on the dresses ended up smudging onto a couple of them. I had them dry cleaned, and it came right out. Also, the shop is a little scattered and small, but the staff is friendly.

Allure Bridal has a large selection of dresses and accessories. I ordered my dress from here and they altered it beautifully and created a lovely bustle that fit perfectly with the dress. I also found a lot of my and my bridal party's accessories here.

Bonnie was wonderful :) She helped my mother and me pick out the perfect dress, and I absolutely love it. The reason I give this an overall 4 star rating is due to alterations. I had to return 4 times (which is a lot when you're trying to fit all things wedding into your schedule...) On my first visit, the woman cutting the length cut unevenly and did not warn me about the how easily the material frayed, therefore, she I walked back into the changing room to change out of the dress, the ends frayed immediately. On my third visit, my mother noticed that pieces of my dressed were stitched together that should not have been. However, they were accommodating and fixed everything.

My wedding dress was more than perfect!!! I couldn't have been happier The women who work at Allure are wonderful! Customer Service was perfect, they did an amazing job fitting the dress to my figure, and it was wonderful working with them I will recomend them to anyone who asks! Every time I went into the salon, the ladies behind the counter were very helpful, even if I didn't have an appointment.

I researched my gown ahead of time and knew that allure bridal salon carried the line, so in the 15 minutes between me walking in and walking out, dream gown had been purchased and ordered. They were flexible with appointments and very accomodating.

I've driven by Allure Bridal a lot, after getting engaged, and said one day I'd like to go in there to see the dresses. On a whim one Friday afternoon, about 30 minutes before they closed, I walked in and was greeted by Rita, the owner. I explained to Rita that the wedding was over a year away, and we were just looking. She showed us the 'clearance' room, and then showed us the where the new dresses were, that could be ordered in any size. As I picked out 2 or 3 I wanted to try on, from the new room, Rita began to bring me other dresses to try on as well. One was from the clearance room. I had explained to Rita I wanted a long train (cathedral length). She brought me the most beautiful gown I had ever tried on, but it was strapless. I liked how it looked on me, it hugged all of the right curves, but I wasn't certain. Rita offered to put it on hold for 24 hours, so I could return with my mother to see it in person. We came back the next day, I put on the dress again, and once we attached one of the spaghetti straps, my eyes lit up and I said "This is it!" Rita grabbed this dress from the clearance room, saw my body style, and knew it would fit. From that moment, Rita was amazing to work with. She put my mind at ease when I was nervous about alterations. She helped me find confidence in myself regarding how the dress would fit me, and what garments I needed under the dress, or didn't need. Each time I came in to visit my dress (since I purchased it a year in advance), I was always greeted by name, and there were never any feelings that I wasn't in good hands. My bridesmaids even purchased their dresses from Rita, and that entire process was smooth too. I never had a single bad experience working with Rita or Bonnie at Allure Bridal. Your bridal shop plays an important role in your wedding day preparations, and honestly, you cannot go wrong with Rita. She never steered me wrong once. She brought me a beautiful gown, exquisite bridesmaids dresses, and a beautiful veil & tiara (separately, not together as one piece). I will never forget Rita at Allure Bridal, and have even purchased a special occasion dress from her. Proms or Weddings, Rita knows her stuff!

Allure has a good variety of affordable dresses. The ladies there are so kind, supportive, and encouraging. You can tell they are genuinely excited for you and want you to look your best. I was very happy with the alterations done on my gown as well. My gown was PERFECT on our wedding day with their help!

I went to this salon on the recommendation of a few of my friends. We love it here! They have a nice selection of dresses and are very reasonably priced. Also, when buying your gown there, you get free alterations (for the top of the dress, if needed) and either a free veil or head piece. They were so easy to work with!

After reading the reviews about Allure bridal I decided to visit this location for my FIRST trip to find a dress. I called a week before and set an appt for Saturday at 3:30. I invited my future MIL, my mom, and two of my bridesmaids to come with me. When I arrived on the Saturday at 3:00 I was told that I was not down for an appointment at 3:30 and that my name was no where to be found. The lady who told me this was rude, and pretty much dimissed me as if I was bothering her. She then stated that she would have someone wait on me once someone was free. I ended up being serviced by a saleswoman who was extremely nice and helpful. I ended up loving a dress that I tried on and after I found out the price I was mortified. She had me try on dresses that were about 1,000 out of my budget range! I walked out of that shop with a dress in my mind that I really loved but couldn't really afford, and this was my first experience! Needless to say dress shopping left a bad taste in my mouth after visiting this store. Luckily I ended up visiting Moni's bridal in Farmington and actually walked out of the shop with a dress that I COUL:D afford and their service was impeccable. Allure bridals will never get a glowing recommendation from me. And they only get three stars for service because of the helpful sales lady who assisted me with trying on the too expensive dresses.

It was truely my dream dress. My bridesmaids were not as impressed. There were lots of problems with how they were measured and their dresses came back way too big. Then the salon wanted to charge for alterations. That was ridiculous. The tuxedos were also an issue. My son was fitted then we had to bring the coat back because it didn't fit. Looked like a man's jacket on a 10 year old. So they hax the seamstress put pins in it and said pick it up on Friday. We did and instead of doing what they told us they would they just got him a new jacket ghat fit worse! It is now 1 hour before my rehersal and I didn't have time for this. I called them very upset about everything. Luckily, my dad drove him up there and they fixed it. Just wish they aould have kept to what they said would happen and not make changes before asking me. It would have saved aggravation.

This was the first placed I shopped for a wedding gown after my sister purchased hers here a couple years ago and got a great deal.They have a huge selection and I ended up finding my dress on my first visit. I got an excellent price and the ladies that work here are friendly and very willing to help.

I would highly recommend Allure Bridal to any future bride!!! I had found the dress of my dreams at a bridal salon in Shelby Township but was treated terribly by the staff so I called around to find somewhere else who carried the dress I was looking for. Allure Bridal had the dress I wanted and it also turned out to be cheaper than all the other salons I called! The ladies at Allure are so nice and helpful. We bought my dress there as well as my bridesmaid dresses, my veil, my mother's dress, AND jewelry for my bridesmaids. Allure has great service, hard to beat prices (the dresses we got were more money everywhere else!), and a big selection to choose from. You will not be disappointed if you shop here!

It was a second wedding for me but the first for my husband so I was unsure what I wanted. I am an older bride and don't look like I did when I was 25 so needed to cover some figure flaws. The manager of the shop listened to my thoughts and worked with me on picking out the perfect dress. I felt confident and beautiful on my wedding day....which is what every bride wants.

The store is quaint in square footage but it hosts a great variety of dresses! The employees are knowledgeable and appreciate a bride on a budget! They are willing to work with you to find the right look and help out wherever they can. These ladies will remember you when you come back months later and make alterations look like a breeze! I suggested Allure Bridal to a friend and bride-to-be; that friend just told me that she bought her dress from them too (her first stop). You'd be wise to give them a look!

This store was absolutely amazing to say the least!! I walked into the store with no idea of what i wanted, and the took the time to help me figure out what type of dress style looked best, and let me set 5 or so aside so that when my mom and sisters were in town I could show them. It turned out that I ended up finding a dress at another store, but I wanted to give my business to the ladies a Allure Bridal, so they actually specially ordered the dress for me, and it turned out amazing!!! I highly recommend this store because of their amazing customer service, knowledge, and beacuse I felt like they were just as excited and worried about getting everything right with my dress as i was.

I ordered my dress late worried that it would not be altered in time but it was done perfect and on time!

My wedding Dress was just perfect! The only thing bad about it was all of the bussles broke. The ladies were so helpful and they did a great job on my bridal gown and flowergirl dress.

I loved my dress and the shop. However, during my reception, the bustle on my dress fell apart. The thread they used ripped and I had to safety pin my dress in the middle of the reception. I wish they would have used better quality materials to do the bustle.

This place has gorgeous dresses at great prices, and if you use their "promo", you get a free {or $150 off} veil with your dress The only thing I wasn't happy about was that they made me order up 2 sizes (I was a size 2 frame that should have been safe ordering a wedding dress size 4 or 6) But they persuaded me to order a wedding dress size 8 (they took the wrong size measurements from me: I know this because I had a seamstress family member size me...I was truly a hip size 37 at fitting, and they told me that my hips were 38). They had to take in the dress 2 times for when I actually did lose more weight because stress. My hips were barely 36 by day of event. As for the rest of my body....I had to "pad up" and have them sow in cups into my dress in order to fill it out, because they couldn't take it any more at the chest...and I still had to worry about a "gap". The dress still looked gorgeous...but it would have been $100 cheaper & looked better if I would have gotten the right size dress to start with. Otherwise, their alterations were fine, they paid attention to you, and offered a great price. Just make sure you get sized correctly. You know your body.

I loved the service and quality of dresses found at Allure Bridal. The staff is very friendly and efficient, and when I went in to try on dresses they were very patient with me when I was having trouble deciding which dress I liked more. The staff is also very eager to please and pulled the perfect dress for me, in fact it happened to be the very first one I tried on. They also provide a great alterations service that I was very pleased with. The shop is a little small but the quality of service makes it a great place to find your wedding dress!

I visited Allure on my first day of dress shopping. A dress I tried on there remained my favorite after visiting many other shops, and I ended up going back and buying it! The staff there was very friendly and helpful to me. My only complaint is that my dress needed to be shortened multiple times, because alterations were not done correctly. This continued on until days before my wedding. Made me a lil nervous, but it all worked out in the end :)

Loved my dress, reasonable price. However, I would go somewhere else for alterations. You could see the stitches for the bustle on the outside of my dress. Not too noticable if you weren't looking for it, but I didn't pay $175 to have stitches on the outside of my dress.

Allure Bridal Salon worked out wonderfully for me. It is family owned and operated and the staff is very knowledgeable. The staff actually picked out the dress I eventually bought - I loved it! My only issue is the dress I bought was way too big for me in the end and I ended up paying $255 in alterations and bustling! They gave me a 20% discount thinking I would have them do the alterations which I did not... I would hate to think how much the alterations would have cost if I had them do it! It was a wonderful dress though and the staff was very friendly!

Ok, well my girls found the PERFECT dress here, and after we decided on it, we were told it was discontinued and they would need to call the manufacturer to see if they could make a special cut. After 2 WEEKS of waiting, we found out that they could do the dress for us, but after getting it in, the measurements were off, the dresses were all cut in petite sizes and there was a bow that wasn't there in sample. So, then we tried to work out a time to come in for alterations, and I was told that my bridal party that was coming from all over Michigan and one from Ohio, wold not be able to be fitted ont he weekend because the seamstress didn't work the weekend - isn't that the BUSSIEST time for fittings??? So my girls all had to take the dresses to their own seamstresses. Now, these issues are not really Allure's fault, but the women working there were RUDE, UNPROFESSIONAL, and had NO DESIRE to even talk to us as customers. If we could have found the dress at another salon, we would have bought them there - and we looked!!! I was just really disappointed in the quality of service and I would not recommend them to anyone!

It's a small shop and Rita gives her guests excellent service and works with you on price where she can. The alterations were also very well done. I took my sister back there and she too bought her dress here!;The shop is not a brand new building. It is an older comfortable shop with a friendly attitude. If you are looking for snobby couture go somewhere else.
