About this vendor
Allure Planning Services, based in Dallas, TX, is a wedding planning company. Founder Shonda has been in the coordination industry for more than 15 years, where her passion originally started as a hobby. She wants to create events that will stay in the minds of you and your guests forever.
Shonda got her taste for wedding planning when a family asked her for help coordinating her own special day. Until that point, she had mainly planned vacations and trips for family and friends. After that, Shonda knew that wedding coordination was what she wanted to do full time. She hasn’t looked back since. Allure Planning Services was born out of her desire to help people have the day of their dreams.
From the shower to the honeymoon, Shonda is by your side throughout the entire process. When it comes to the wedding day itself, Allure Planning Services has several packages to assist. Shonda offers day-of coordination for couples who are happy to do the bulk of the planning on their own. At the other end of the spectrum, however, is the full planning package. Through this, Shonda offers full-service coordination for the wedding alongside showers, a pre-wedding party, and honeymoon planning. On top of all of this, she can even organize a makeup artist to help you look and feel your best.

We hired Shonda as our wedding day of coordinator, and we also got her services for pre wedding and post wedding festivities. She was amazing. We had booked most of our vendors and...
we were looking for someone that would put everything together and tie all the loose ends and be the person of contact and in charge on the day of the wedding; and Shonda delivered! She had unlimited hours when it came to the day of the wedding itself and she was very responsive, leading up to the wedding through emails, calls, and texts. Even though as a day of coordinator, she's technically involved a month before the wedding, she actually told me that I could start sending her information and anything from the moment we signed the contract. She actually started working on our wedding couple months beforehand and worked well with all of our vendors. The wedding day went smoothly and was well organized. For the pre-wedding festivity she provided us with a charcuterie board with her allurebites services. For the post wedding festivities, she provided wedding an ice cream cart. All of my family loved it.
I would commend her 100% for all of her services. She's amazing, professional and consistent.
Like most soon-to-be newly weds, we searched for a wedding coordinator through several websites. For those who aren't sure whether they want to hire a month-of-coordinator or not, ...
let me tell you, you don't want to skimp on it. My fiance, now husband (!), and I wanted a DIY wedding and had a strict budget. We were told by many married friends that hiring a good coordinator was a must. I'd heard nightmare stories about vendors swamping the bride with calls, request, etc. on the day of. Shonda was our coordinator and she was so responsive and accommodating. I'm someone that loves being in on the action and helping out, but the week before and day of my wedding, Shonda stepped up and made sure everything went smoothly. Now, I don't have experience with other coordinators, but I will say that from my research interviewing other coordinators, Shonda stands out in a few ways: 1. Value, 2: Responsiveness, 3: Experience. Shonda provided all the services we were looking for in a coordinator at a price that no other coordinator could compete with. She was willing to work with us at all hours of the day and find answers if she didn't know the answer to something. In the end, Shonda's experience coordinating other weddings was very apparent. She never stepped on any toes and was quick to give recommendations when we didn't know how to proceed. Everything didn't go seamlessly, partly due to our lack of clarity regarding detailed timing, but Shonda was able to work with all of our vendor to make last minute requests happen. Despite the hiccups, we couldn't have asked for a more special day. In the end, I still got to marry my best friend, and I hope this review reflects that Shonda did a great job!

glad that we had the opportunity to work with her and can’t thank her enough for making our wedding day go smoothly. She was very punctual when replying to any texts/emails I sent her. She coordinated with all of our vendors and the venue to ensure our wedding went as planned. She was a quick problem solver and made sure that last minute surprises, which always happen, were not evident to us or our guest because the ceremony and reception were perfect.
