Allure Wedding Photography

, which dampened the mood on my wedding day. We had a tight timeline for photos which I’d given them weeks in advance, as well as a clear list with what photos we wanted in order and the names of the people for each photo for them to easily call out. They can’t read apparently, because they kept calling for repeat photos and I had to keep saying “we just took that one”. They also have a very early 2000s style of posing and they photographed us in one ugly location. Their editing wasn’t great, a picture of me and my parents had a smoke alarm in it, almost all the photos with me are extremely unflattering, no one is looking the same direction in a very off centered family photo, there’s no cropping and some very awful and awkward shots, there’s a piece of hair sticking out of my bun in every reception photo that they didn’t edit out, tons of little simple edits they ignored and when I reached out they said they didn’t know what I meant and for me to go through and tell them each photo to edit when it’s so clear to me what to fix and I described what I wanted very clearly. Also, when downloading the photos, it’s complicated and they come out blurry, so I’m very sad because this is not how I wanted to remember my wedding day and they came with such rave reviews.

5 stars for this company is because I believe they showed false advertisement. When we booked with them, the package included 2 photographers. A few weeks before the wedding, when we making the timeline for the day of the wedding, I spoke to my photographer about the timeline and she said a 2nd shooter would be coming, not a 2nd photographer. Here is my issue with this, a second photographer works for a different purpose, but mainly to get a feel of what wedding photography entails. Being a second shooter really helps you to learn the ropes, and to make you feel comfortable when being the primary photographer for weddings. If a 2nd shooter is going to come vs. a 2nd photographer, advertise it as so.

tions. SO professional, SO organized and SO efficient. Our wedding day, which felt like a love-filled blur to me, was so efficiently handled by our photographers. We got a TON of amazing pictures without missing too much time with our guests. Left to their own devices at the reception, Josh and Dodie were perfect! I was terrible at directing desired photos but they captured everything flawlessly. I'm not always comfortable in front of the camera and Josh was so comforting and easy to work with. Allure made a sometimes stuffy process relaxed and fun. We just got our photos back and they are truly beautiful. They treated our day with respect and made it fun and care-free while capturing STUNNING shots. Go with Allure Wedding Photography and your expectations will be exceeded!!
