Alluring Events

to the wedding, Sarah was very helpful as a sounding board, especially as we made COVID-related decisions. In the months leading up to the event, she was very communicative and spent hours on the phone with us nailing down even the tiniest details of our night. Sarah was very organized and detail oriented, and as soon as I sent her a vendor contract and contact info, I could count on her to take over and communicate anything that needed communicating. In the week leading up to the wedding, she helped me rejigger the timeline so we could ensure enough dancing. She's clearly an expert at what she does because when I wanted to move things around she'd know exactly the ramifications -- "If you move speeches here, it will mean people are still eating when dancing starts." etc. On the day of, she brought my vision to life even better than I'd envisioned it. She handled my crazy bridal party with ease and grace. She managed a tight run of show. I honestly have no clue if there were every any issues, thanks to all her hard work behind the scenes. I truly don't know how she managed so many details and moving pieces, while also seemingly being right there, ready and waiting, whenever I needed anything. She was also just an absolute joy to have around! My husband and I are beyond thrilled. I'm just sad to not still be working with her (Will most definitely be calling her for my sisters' wedding one day though!)

nnie. It was so comforting having someone dedicated to supporting me, my fiance and family throughout all the planning. Not to mention someone that kept us organized, on track and took care of all the paperwork! I don't know what I would do if I didn't have this additional support to lean on through the emotional and stressful times of planning a wedding. I am even more thankful that I had Lonnie to lean on to help navigate these uncertain times that included cancelling a wedding and needing to start over. She has been such a helpful, positive, stable source of comfort in our lives. Not only is she our wedding planner but she is also a friend now and I am so thankful. If you're on the fence about hiring a wedding planner and have the budget... DO IT. You won't be sorry. If you're in Northern CA then Alluring Events and Lonnie are your people. They also own a Bridal shop so you can work with them to style your look as well. One of my favorite things that I haven't gotten to experience yet is that they will not only send the planner to your wedding but bring along a team of assistants, 2-4, to your wedding to make sure everything is taken care of. You don't need to worry about a thing with Alluring Events as your partner.

someone for the day of the wedding, so I made sure to lock-in Alluring well in advance of my wedding. I may be a little of an over-planner, so when it came time for Rachele to take over (2 months out), most tasks were done, but I knew that she'd help execute everything that I had already organized. Then we got to wedding day. 0% chance of rain, all outdoor wedding, no plan B, but it was 0% chance of rain and we had this...then came cocktail hour and thunder/lightening storms, Rachele helped think of plans B-Z, and helped me make the choices best for us and our guests, to keep the food tasty, and to stay somewhat on time. Apparently during dinner there was a nearby tornado (really not something that happens here), but I didn't know, and she made sure there was a plan just in case. Then we got to speeches, and it began hailing (also not normal here), and the show still continued on. Despite the weather, all our guests continue to have smiles, had the best meal, continued to dance, and were quite shocked when we told them where things were "supposed to be" as planned the next day. I honestly can't imagine the day without Rachele and her team there to make sure that the show continued on and that everyone was happy and safe. They sure helped us throw a hail of a party and we'd choose them again any day.

n my mother in law suggested we hire a planner, I thought she was crazy. But I am SO grateful that she did! Finding Lonnie was the best decision in the world. Our wedding weekend was PERFECT! Lonnie is the most organized, caring, creative, thoughtful woman. Our venue was a bit non-traditional and it was definitely a puzzle to figure out the best layout... but Lonnie spent probably 5 hours late into the night texting with me and sending sketches back and forth and never had even the hint of annoyance when all of a sudden I wanted to go back to our first idea. She never gave up, even when things were complicated and seemed impossible to figure out. She is so patient and positive. Whenever I was feeling discouraged, Lonnie somehow knew exactly what to say. If she had to deliver bad news (like the tables we wanted weren't available) she always had a solution or positive spin to add. Planning a destination wedding is so hard, especially when you aren't familiar with the area. I 100% underestimated the amount of work and details and coordination that goes into pulling off a wedding. Thanks to Lonnie's incredible attention to detail - everything was perfect and exactly how we had planned... down to the napkin folds! I am so grateful that the day of my wedding I was able to spend it fully in the moment and appreciative of all our hard work - I never had to worry about a single thing, there were no hiccups, and it was the best day of my life. If you are someone who likes to be in control of all the details (which I found out I am) - working with Alluring, you don't have to give that up. I felt deeply involved in all of our planning and design and decisions, but they bring your dream to life. If you are on the fence about a planner, I would definitely go for it, and definitely choose Alluring! It's worth it!
