We are so glad to have had Allyse and Nick as our wedding photographers. They did a great job capturing our big day. We spent a lot of time with Allyse and Nick in the earlier parts of the day in order to photograph our preparations and intimate time with loved ones. They made everyone feel relaxed and offered great insights and direction on how to mentally prepare for what was ahead. During the wedding I barely knew they were there and yet they were photographing nearly every part of the wedding. Allyse delivered (much sooner than expected) incredible and precious photos of our wedding that we will treasure forever. Choosing Allyse (and her hubby Nick!) was the BEST decision we made throughout our entire wedding process. Hands down. She came to us highly recommended by family who had worked with her in the past. From the start, Allyse was transparent when other vendors weren’t. She answered us in a timely fashion and was so communicative. We were able to have FaceTime convos to work through initial questions. We were able to choose a package that included an engagement shoot and day-of coverage on our wedding day. There were so many important moments that they captured beautifully between my wife and I, the ceremony, our family members, our bridal parties… Everything! She has a great eye and got our photos to us pretty quickly! Not only were they great at their jobs, they are excellent people. We were so happy that they were present and consider them friends after a year of communicating the way we did! They made us comfortable at every step and kept us laughing. They took into consideration some special asks (many different family pictures and a focus on our grandparents). Our photos are beautiful and something we will cherish forever. The program they use for downloads and sharing is user friendly and allows for options to order prints as well, which we cannot WAIT to do. Allyse was personable and super responsive from day one. We were looking for someone that could capture not only your typical wedding photos but candids and expression. She did exactly that for both our engagement and wedding photos. Allyse was super easy to be around, hilarious, and delivered us SO many photos very quickly. Allyse was amazing, to say the least. My husband and I got married on July 4th and wanted to incorporate fireworks into our event somehow. Our venue wouldn’t allow it for safety reasons(understandable) so we talked to Allyse and decided to do a first look a few nights before with fireworks. The photos from the first look were amazing! We started during daylight and they captured everything perfectly. But let me tell you, the way the photos with the fireworks came out was STUNNING!!! Only a true professional could have done what they did! Allyse and her husband did a fantastic job snapping everything moment of our wedding and catching some of the sweetest memories that I can cherish forever- including my 80 year old grandmother holding my 3 month old son! The look of love on her face was so candid and sweet. I’ve had numerous guests tell me later that my photographers were “awesome, fun and so amazing, how did you find them?” And that really sums them up, they were so awesome and the most fun! They didn’t even have to tell you to smile because you were already laughing and having a good time! We are so grateful for their work and highly recommend them!

It can be intimidating to have someone follow you around all day and take photos, but Allyse and her Husband / photography partner were so pleasant it was easy to be around them. We did engagement photos as well as wedding photos with them and they turned out lovely. I can be very awkward on camera and my husband hates having his picture taken but they made it a pleasant experience for both of us.

I would highly recommend Allyse and Nick, I have never seen photographers that good at any wedding. They work so wonderful together and feed off each other’s ideas to capture every moment perfectly. What an incredible experience! Both Allyse and her husband, Nick, made our wedding a day that we will never forget. Allyse Pulliam Photography provided boudoir shoot, grooms night out, and our wedding. We could not have been more pleased with our choice to book them. My boudoir shoot was so much fun. I have never felt more confident in my life and Allyse kept me laughing through the entire experience. My husband is a veteran and his grooms night out was a special reunion that we wanted to document. Those photos are no near to Joe's heart, there are no words to describe how much we love them. Wedding day, she thought of everything. She had a great eye. Our favorite pictures are ones that we didn't even know were happening. She and her husband are a great team. We also did a wedding video and it turned out like a vintage home movie vibe that we are just so in love with. It is absolutely dreamy. Book her now before she fills up for 2023.

Look no further for you wedding photographer! Working with Allyse and Nick was amazing! They are both funny, laid back and really easy to work with. My husband and I get nervous in front of the camera but they kept the mood light and gave us the direction we needed to make for amazing pictures! We first did an adventure shoot at Sam's Point instead of an engagement shoot and it was killer! I have several pictures printed and around my house. And her and Nick's work at our wedding was also amazing. They were able to capture the mood so beautifully! You could truly see how happy and excited everyone is and it is so priceless. The day came and went, but I look back at may pictures and get sent back to my wedding day and all the fun we had and all the love that was shared. Allyse and Nick were the very best from the start and I cannot recommend them highly enough. From the jump, they were quick to respond to our request to meet and we clicked right away (even over Zoom!). She and Nick efficiently got out portraits done while we still had good lighting and helped us get up to our cocktail hour so that we could enjoy our wedding. Allyse and Nick are the absolute best you could ever find! They will work with whatever you have in mind, and suggest their own brilliant ideas. During covid, they worked with us regarding any rescheduling. They took photos of the church ceremony, and small dinner afterwards. We promptly hired them to return for the rescheduled reception in the spring with the whole family. We look forward to working with them again, and will continue to for any event going forward!

We had a COVID disaster strike just days before our wedding when our photographer canceled. We called around to nearly 20 photographers in the area 3 days before and Allyse was an immediate fit. She offered to shoot the event on her off-day and not only that, but got her husband to support with groomsman prep. This was something we weren’t even planning on having. Alyse was extremely punctual, professional and we cannot thank her enough for making the day that much more special. During the shoots and the day, she expertly managed the shots, participants and guests. She gave us all the shots we specifically asked for and added so many more all the while making the shots fun and exciting. She worked well with kids and kept the experience light and fun. She gave excellent direction to ensure the best photo, which my wife and I need because we are not used to doing photo shoots. We cannot say enough good about Alyse and her husband. They literally saved our wedding.

Allyse was beyond wonderful. We pandemic eloped and had a zoom ceremony, so it was even more important to have a photographer who could capture the moment since our friends and family wouldn't be there in person. Allyse did that (my mom is so grateful to have so many beautiful photos from the day). She captured the essence of our personalities and made our Amazon Prime decorations look wonderful somehow (she has her own lighting!). In addition to all that talent, she also gets an A+++ as an ad-hoc event manager, helping us navigate our nearly complete lack of planning or forethought. I could not have been happier with my experience with Allyse and Nick. They photographed my wedding very last minute, as my father had taken very ill and the wedding had to be moved up. Not only was she amazingly down to earth, but they were people I would honestly be pleased to call friends. The photos captured the moments we would have hand selected perfectly and she made sure I had plenty of memories of my dad that I hold so dear now that he has passed. Allyse and Nick were amazing. out of all our vendors they were the best. price was was perfect and quality amazing. attention to detail and being flexible as well made having them as our photographers even more of a joy. it worked great with nick being in my room with the groomsmen taking pictures and allyse with my wife and bridesmaids. throughout the wedding I honestly didn't notice them there, but seeing the pictures later they were everywhere. we received our pictures in a very timely fashion and were VERY happy with them. absolutely amazing! Allyse is professional, kind and takes absolutely stunning photos! She photographed our wedding in December as well as our engagement photos and I am in love with all of them. Allyse was very accommodating and patient especially with two young flowergirls. Allyse was fast in getting our photos to us (I remember my sister waiting months with the photographer she booked). We knew we made the right decision booking her when we couldn't stop laughing and smiling at our contract signing- a personality you want around on a stressful day, especially from the person asking you to smile all day. From the minute we met Allyse, we knew she was going to be the perfect addition to our special day. These are first-rate photographers who take a documentary-style approach to shooting weddings. Nick and Allyse were everywhere at once. They took pictures of almost all of our guests and so many special moments. They offered a little bit of every style of photograph – stylish black and white, humorous shots and many frameable portraits. We could not believe how well the photographs came out of our wedding, which was a challenge to shoot in wet weather. I highly recommend Allyse Pulliam Photography.

In meeting Allyse, we felt immediately comfortable. She was sweet, thoughtful and really energetic about photography. She’s not arrogant or pose-y like some photographers can be. She’s very humble but in reality, a master of her craft. She is constantly surveying angles and areas for you. She is VERY encouraging and even made my husband feel comfortable, when he hates photos. Super friendly and professional. We had a really unconventional wedding with lots of action, photos in difficult public locations with bystanders to shoo out of the way, and tons of family to wrangle... and we never had to worry about any of it. I spoke to Allyse on the phone and she agreed to meet with me on Father's Day morning(not something many vendors were willing to do). Allyse Pulliam Photography is fantastic. I knew after I met with Allyse that I wanted her to capture all the special moments on our wedding day. Not only did we all hit it off the day we met, but she offered packages at great prices. We agreed that she and her boyfriend would shoot our wedding; with her spending time with the ladies in the morning and him spending time with the guys. They remained flexible and really worked with us, even when we didn't have all the details sorted out until the last minute. On our wedding day, they captured all of the different things that we had talked about prior. Allyse was almost stealthy as she moved around my parents house and captured everyone getting ready. It was a joy to look back and see moments that I missed in my own chaos that morning. They also worked with my church, who has strict guidelines for photographers. During the reception, we had lots of dancing and they really captured everyone having fun; it's palpable in the pictures. I've received many compliments from guests on the pictures and had friends ask me about the photographers. Friends have even complimented the way Allyse and her boyfriend moved about the space that evening. They are very professional and passionate about photography. The photos themselves are fabulous. Some are classic, some are artistic and the list goes on. I'd hire Allyse again in an instant! We are very happy with Allyse Pulliam Photography and bet that anyone else would be, too.

Please do yourself a favor and book Allyse for your wedding! I got married on Long Island and Allyse and her team (Nick) were absolutely amazing and took the most beautiful photos. Our posed pictures are fantastic but our candid pictures are even better! They truly captured the vibe and feeling of our wedding and we couldn't be happier. On top of that we got all of our pictures so quickly! Not only are Allyse and Nick a talented bunch but they're also such fun, energetic and kind people to work with. We're so thankful so have had them part of our day and even more thankful to have their spectacular pictures to look at forever (and ever).

Allyse and her team were absolutely AMAZING! She got shots that I never even imagined and absolutely adore - I can't imagine NOT having those photos now. She's great at communicating and knows exactly how to handle a crowd to get amazing photos. We took some very large family shots that turned out amazing (Allyse isn't afraid to ask people to move around to ensure everyone can be seen). It was freezing the day of our wedding but she and her team worked quickly to get multiple outdoor shots without our wedding party freezing to death. Even with the wide range of lighting conditions she needed to work with (a dark ceremony space, outdoor wedding party shots, bright colored lights during our reception) every image turned out perfectly and was beautifully edited. I couldn't be happier with my experience with Allyse Pulliam Photography as my wedding photographers and I recommend her and her team to anyone and everyone getting married or looking for amazing portraits.

Allyse and her team were AMAZING! Photography was the most important aspect for me for our wedding and I read over and over again that it was the one thing to splurge on . So when I found Allyse I was originally slightly hesitant because she was the best deal I found! I am so glad that I pushed that aside and went with my gut after browsing through her work. My now husband and I met with her to discuss the details and I knew for sure she was the one! Allyse made me feel super comfortable being photographed and she was fun to hang out with during the day!!! Nick and Kelly were too! I cant stop looking over our photos I AM OBSESSED! They were able to capture all the shots I had dreamed of and more! Soooo many wonderful candids! BOOK HER NOW!!!

Allyse was super professional and provided the best pictures. She seemed to have a knack for finding a true smile of both my husband and myself, but also of the guests too. I would have regretted not using Allyse for my photography.

Allyse was the perfect photographer for our wedding. We hired her for a trial with our engagement photos, and immediately knew we wanted to book her. Her outgoing and welcoming personality made communication simple, and eased all of our nerves being photographed. My husband and I didn't have much of a vision or plan for the wedding photos, but because our engagement photos came out so beautifully, we trusted Allyse to take the wedding day into her own hands and lead. Allyse's experience was evident as she guided us through a variety of shots with different groups of people. She was an excellent leader and politely yet firmly kept the entire group focused and on task. She captured all of the traditional moments of the day, in addition to really fun and special candids. In my opinion, Allyse's most distinct qualities as a photographer are her flexibility, humor, and natural ability to make people relax and feel comfortable. We would highly recommend Allyse. We received many compliments about her performance during the event, in addition to the photos she sent us after the event.

I first met Allyse through my best friend who got married two years ago. I was getting married in Long Island and my friend (and Allyse) are from the Hudson valley so I didn't think that she would travel that far for a wedding so I didn't even approach her at first. Long story short I searched many wedding photographers and all seemed to have "a thing" that they do for every wedding, and myself and my now husband didn't really like that because, well this is our wedding after all. After seeing the photos Allyse did for my friend I knew I had to have her as our wedding photographer. She not only captures a ton of images, she captures the love and emotion of every single person and thing she's photographing. I loved her so much we used her for our engagement shoot and my boudoir shoot. Beyond just her insane talent to bring life to photos, she's extremely flexible, easy to work with and yet helps you set perimeters for your day (for example if you have no idea how much time to allot to photos). She and Nick make you feel happy, excited and so comfortable, and it doesn't hurt that they're both very kind, happy, and funny people that take away the awkwardness of having your photo snapped 6,000 times. Furthermore, I've also been a bridesmaid several times and I have to say (personal bias aside) I was wayyy more satisfied with Allyse than the big named wedding photogs my friends used. I wish there was a way to recommend Allyse more because she's truly fantastic from start to finish!
