Our experience with Josh and Sofia from Alma was nothing short of wonderful! Our preparation and planning went smooth and we felt they understood our vision from the start. They did a great job of capturing every shot and moment of the day while not making it obvious they were there. Even though they also felt like two friends and them being there during it all just added to the magic. They are an amazing and talented couple that we would 100% work with again. Alma was AWESOME. Super easy to work with and very transparent about pricing! We loved having them work with us on our wedding day. The day itself they were super professional, worked great alongside our photographer and laid out a plan for getting allll of the best shots for the video. Honestly I was worried about feeling awkward but Josh made us laugh all day, we felt super comfortable with them. We got the video back a little early too! It was absolutely GORGEOUS and has made everyone cry so far!!! Love you Alma team! Could not recommend them enough. ♥️♥️♥️

Josh and his wife are the ultimate dynamic duo! They are so sweet and so accommodating. The process from start to finish was smooth and stress free. They do a great job of getting to know you and your vision before the big day, so come time, they're able to capture everything you dreamed of. Our video is the perfect memory for such a special day!

Alma was such a delight to work with from the very start. They are extremely organized, timely, and professional while, also, maintaining such a personal, comfortable, and fun environment while working together. My husband, family, bridal party, and I had such a blast with them on our wedding day and were absolutely stunned by the amazing videos they delivered. Sofia and Josh are truly remarkable. I hired them for my Malibu destination wedding for photography and cinematography. From the moment i found their Instagram *5 YEARS* before i was engaged, i knew their skill and style were unmatchable. When i had my first call with Josh, i was blown away by his level of care and ability to make me feel like i had known him for years! Not only were they absolutely amazing to work with, Sofia got me a sneak peak of my photos within 48 hours!! To say I’m obsessed is an understatement - their ability to capture the moment is absolutely perfected. I can honestly say that for any life event of mine i will be hiring alma films. don’t wait on hiring them! They are outstanding and will undoubtedly make all of your photography and videography dreams come to life!!

Alma Films was one of the first vendors I booked for my wedding last August. I knew that something as important as capturing the imagery and emotion of my wedding day was one area where I could not leave quality to chance. Each wedding video I had previously seen from Alma was a dream, and - as I had hoped and expected - mine turned out just as lovely. Everything in the film, from the little detail shots they included to the perfect dreamy background music, works together to convey the tone of the day and to remind us vividly of the many special moments we treasure from our wedding!

Where do I begin? Alma Films is professional, personable, and will make the best addition to your day. It was important that we captured our wedding to share with loved ones that couldn’t be there because of the global pandemic. We couldn’t imagine a more perfect look into our favorite day! Do we hire a videographer??? This was the most debated topic between me and my husband during our wedding planning. Ultimately, we decided to make the investment and I can't emphasize how happy I am with that decision!! The video Alma Films put together for us perfectly captured the emotions from our wedding day that I will cherish for a lifetime. I imagine 10-15 years down the road sitting our kids down and showing them this video and reliving the love we experienced on our wedding day. Truly worth every penny! Alma Films is first class all around, wonderful to work with from my very first encounter to the last. Making payments, arranging a schedule and all of the logistics was easy to do with the Alma team. Additionally, the beautiful energy Sofia brought to our wedding day was appreciated. What I didn't realize during wedding planning is the vendors you choose are the people that you are surrounded with every minute of your wedding day. I'm so grateful I was surrounded by someone like Sofia who is so sweet, calm, complimentary .. everything you want around you on your wedding day. Both me and my husband highly recommend Alma Films!!

Josh and Sofia with Alma Films were an absolutely incredible crew! They were extremely understanding and accommodating and independently worked around us throughout the day to make our photos completely effortless! Alma Films are the only ones I would’ve ever trusted to shoot my wedding. The photos and video turned out beautifully and I would recommend them to everyone! They made me and my husband look amazing and we’re definitely not naturally comfortable in front of the camera but they make it so effortless it takes the stress out of it.

Best film crew EVER! They're work ethic and amazing personality were such a pleasure to work with on one of the best days of our lives! We would chose ALMA over and over! Only thing we would have done differently, would be to hire them as our photographers as well!!

As a mother of the bride as well as event designer, let's just say I had a LOT on my plate for my daughter's 9/7/19 wedding. I follow a lot of other local vendors on social media, so when my daughter and her fiance said they wanted to find a great wedding videographer, I immediately told them to check out Alma's work. From our very first meeting, Josh exuded kindness, professionalism, courtesy and unbelievable dignity. The groom wanted to capture the engagement on video, so he hired Sophia and her brother to shoot the proposal. I don't know how they did it, but in a 60-second video they captured every wonderful moment of that day! They also took still photos of the proposal, and they turned out just beautifully. The wedding only took place on Saturday, so we haven't seen any video yet, but I cannot wait! We wanted to add drone coverage at the last minute and they said "sure!" On the wedding day, they were attentive, thorough and almost invisible. If you are on the fence about wedding videography, don't be. My other daughter and her husband opted not to have it for their wedding and it's their biggest regret. DON'T skip it! And definitely don't look any further than Alma. They're simply the best.

In the months leading up to our wedding, I asked a couple friends, "what do you most regret not having at your wedding?" They both said hiring a videographer. While wedding photography is amazing, there is movement and joy in video you simply cannot replace with a photo. We are absolutely thrilled with Alma Films work, professionalism and authenticity. Our wedding video was not some awkward, staged show piece. It is truly a glimpse into the most special day of our lives. Every clip was thoughtfully selected to weave into our story. We had a few relatives and friends who could not attend our wedding, so it was really special to share our highlights film. Videography is an investment, but it was most certainly a worthy one! We cannot wait to watch our documentary cut on our one-year anniversary.

Alma was so amazing to work with before, during, and after our wedding! They were able to capture our wedding day in such a way that we couldn’t have even dreamed of! We have nothing but the best to say about this team! We worked with Alma Films on both our Love Story Film and our Wedding Day Film. Throughout the entire process, they were helpful, professional, and lovely to work with. They helped us figure out what was important to include or leave out and even customized packages that made sense for what we wanted. We showed our Love Story Film at our wedding reception and it was definitely a highlight of the night - would recommend everyone do this if they can! It is such a fun thing to keep for yourselves as well. We just received our Wedding Day Film back and are completely blown away by how perfectly they captured the feel of the day. I am so happy we went with the best of the best to document this process for us!

Alma is amazing! They are all so kind and made the whole process easy. They captured our day better then we could have ever imagined. We have not stopped watching our film. Alma made sure they knew what we wanted our video to look like! Hiring Alma was one of the best decisions ever! Our video turned out absolutely perfect. I cared just as much if not more about video than photo and they delivered. One of the things that stood out the most was that the whole day they worked alongside the photographer making sure she got the shots she needed without getting in the way. Prior to the wedding day they will give you a form to ask what you want captured and the final product mirrored the exact aspects of the day we asked for. While everything seems like a huge investment and it is really difficult to chose, I am so happy we have our amazing video to cherish forever! People seem to say video is one of the last things you should add but I disagree...hire Alma first and cut in another place...you won't regret it!!
