The site is part of a fifth generation, family-owned and operated ranch that began as a dry land almond farm in the late 19th century. Natural spring water on the property was used to supply a large settlement and almond orchard whose remnants can still be seen today. Over the years, the ranch has evolved into a grain, hay, and livestock operation. Therefore, Almond Springs comes with a huge expanse featuring several spaces to host a variety of functions. The Legends Saloon, The Barn, Loading Dock Stage, the Bear House, and the Game Room Mine shaft are yours to make it your own. Very communicative and helpful. When it came to the day of and day before they helped put up decorations, tables, and ensured a smooth process when switching from the ceremony ot the reception. Carly also helped pack stuff up the next morning. They are very flexible when it comes to having stuff dropped off and picked up, Jacob did all the set up for picking up so the rental company knew where to go. Aside from their great services the venue is beautiful, just far enough away from the wineries so you do not see any of the vineyards (we dont like the look of them) and they have goats that wander around. the venue itself also has a pool table, darts, big bar, barn, and large walkin fridge and a lot of space for everything you can imagine

Jacob was equally amazing from the moment we met him 18+ months prior on our first tour of the venue. His calm demeanor and willingness to make anything we wanted a reality were some of the key reasons we booked the property. His commitment to ensuring our day was perfect was unwavering. Jacob's supportive and can-do attitude provided us with a sense of confidence and ease throughout the entire planning process.
Together, Carly and Jacob exceeded our expectations in every aspect of coordination and venue management. These two have an amazing dynamic and you can see how they work so perfectly together (and probably why they are husband and wife! haha) Their teamwork and dedication ensured that our wedding day was everything we dreamed of and more. Our guests raved about the location, noting how unique and beautiful the property was. So many of our friends and family stated it was one of the best weddings they had ever been to, and we attribute that to the amazing team of Carly and Jacob at Almond Springs.

Almond Springs was the first venue we looked at and we absolutely fell in love. It’s a feeling of overwhelming peace when you arrive. Every bit of it is beautiful and breathtaking. Not only the location, but Jacob & Carly are the most easy going people. They are on top of it in every way, they respond quickly & efficiently, and are here to make your day everything you want it to be. The day of our wedding they were both checking in on us and our needs and that wasn’t even their job! They care for you & not just what they are getting out of it. They made our wedding day so beautiful and it’s so refreshing to not have any regrets in the venue you chose for your big day. Every single one of our guests complimented our venue. If you’re worried about how far it may be - don’t. It’s 100% worth it.

I love this venue a lot!! It was the perfect outdoors, barn style/Mexican wedding venue for our Mexican Wedding for us. The owners are so nice and sweet and they are very flexible as long as you communicate with them, they simply made our wedding so smooth and fun to have it there. They also are very helpful and attentive! I would definitely would do another event in their venue in the future.
This venue is incredible, it was the perfect place to get married. Ten out of ten. Every little detail was well thought out with decor from their historic ranch. The managers are kind people who really care about you and your special day. It was lovely working with Carly and Jacob, you can tell they take pride in their land and what they do. I appreciate them so much and their stunning venue. There's a lot to take in and plenty of ways to entertain your guests. All of our guests said it was the best wedding they'd been to and a lot of that had to do with the setting. If you are considering this venue absolutely rent the cabins overnight, I would even rent it out for the rehearsal dinner. I wish I had!
This venue was absolutely stunning. It was everything my husband and I wanted. Carly and Jacob are phenomenal and make sure all your needs are met! They help you set up, clean up, and everything in between! This venue is reasonable, has multiple locations for ceremony/reception. Areas to stay on property for night of, plenty of parking for large parties. Clean accessible bathrooms, an absolutely beautiful kitchen, and so much more. I cannot say enough great things about this venue.
I cannot say enough about the quality of service my husband and I received from Jacob and his wife. They were beyond helpful and Curtis with us, our family and other vendors. The quality of service we received was top notch. We would absolutely suggest this venue to anyone planning a wedding, family reunion or even a large birthday party. It’s been a couple months and our guests are still talking about our venue and wedding.
We can’t say enough great things about Almond Springs! Not only was the venue perfect and everything we were looking for the people were equally amazing. Jacob & Carly are the most wonderful venue managers in the wedding industry. Almond Springs is unique and stunning venue that offers true rustic elegance. Jacob and Carly went above and beyond at every turn to make our dreams come true on our special day. Almond springs was the perfect venue offering: a large barn lounge, a saloon, a billiards room, a fully functioning kitchen for catering staff, a stage and lighted area for our DJ and dancing, two beautiful cabins for the wedding party to get ready in, and a beautiful open area filled with the venues rich history where our guests could play a variety of games we set out.
We can’t say enough wonderful things about Almond Springs and the venue managers. We hope to host many more private events in the coming years at the venue. If you’re looking for a beautiful rustic and elegant venue with everything your heart could desire look no further than Almond Springs!
Literally the best wedding venue ever!! So many cool spots to explore in one location from the antique equipment, to barn, bar, Photo Booth, and game room, to all the picturesque areas that are amazing backdrops for photos. We had people from all over the country in attendance, with over half coming from the northeast US, and every person took time to approach us during the wedding saying it was the coolest venue they’ve ever been to! Don’t forget to get sunset photos on top of the hills for even more awesome views!
We also love that this is a family owned venue passed down for generations, and Jacob and Carly were so awesome and helpful in every way, especially given we DIY’d most of the wedding. And can’t forget the adorable baby goats!!
Very importantly for brides and grooms- it is a FAIR PRICE that won’t break the bank and is insanely worth it. Definitely highly recommend Almond Springs for your wedding!
The venue itself is unique and meticulously maintained. Jacob Paul was easy to work with and contact. He was very flexible and responded to messages in a timely manor. My daughters wedding was beautiful and I would do it there all over again. Thanks so much for the great memories.

As everyone knows, wedding planning is no picnic. Since the venue is one of the biggest determiners of everything from design features to timeline, it is essential to have a venue that can meet your needs. Essential to a venue is the manager. Jacob with Almond Springs is everything we could have asked for.
He is a very good communicator. He is clear and calm when things get crazy or need to change. He is experienced and knows how to get the best out of his space. He is very flexible and will go the extra mile to see your vision fulfilled. We were very lucky to have him on our team.
He helped us set up, he helped us take down. He was available at all times during the event, without being intrusive or looking over anyone's shoulder. He allowed us do some uncommon things - like set up a scavenger hunt on his premises. Throughout the process, as obstacles inevitably arose with flowers, transportation, and food, I was constantly thinking -- at least our venue process has been smooth and accommodating.
Oh, and he will take you and your photographer up to a hillside overlooking the property with unbelievable lighting, just because he wants you to have incredible pictures.

When we visited Almond Springs we fell in love. The venue was so unique, rustic, vintage and every single detail on the property was thought about and had so much character. There really is not another venue like it. Its away from town and you feel like your are on your own secluded ranch. Not only was the venue perfect for us, Jacob truly sold us the day we met him and then continued to reassure us over the year that we were in the best hands possible. Jacob and his family were so welcoming and accommodating. Always so eager to help in any way possible and always available. The kind of people you want to surround yourself with. You can see their love for this property and that made us love it that much more . Jacob truly made our entire wedding planning process and wedding day easy and enjoyable. He is 100% reliable and honest. I wish we could get married again just to re-visit! Please don't hesitate on this venue choice, contact Jacob and tour this gorgeous property. You won't regret it! Not only was Jacob so pleasant to work with, he actually made the whole process so fun! He was extremely accommodating to our wishes. Almond Springs was the first venue we visited and upon arrival we knew we had found our spot. Jacob was so friendly and accommodating and we appreciated how he wasn't corny about wedding planning. We felt like we were at a friend of a friend's and the location reminded us both of special places from our childhood.
Almond Springs is about 20 minutes out from downtown Paso, mostly dirt and gravel roads, but the journey is worth it. It's expansive with lots of fun little nooks and areas to sit and hang out. There's a wonderful breeze and lots of trees and it’s tucked in rolling golden hills with goats overlooking. Over the course of our wedding planning Jacob and his family built up the property a ton. There is a game room, a bar, a huge barn, massive kitchen with walk in fridge, firepit, and 2 cabins on site that you can rent for the night (or use during the day to get ready / resting area for older people or parents with kids).
Being able to bring in our own vendors for our wedding was important to us and Jacob was happy to share all of his recommendations. We had both our rehearsal/dinner and ceremony/reception on the property and it was so fun to be able to spend so much time in this beautiful place.
We also appreciated how late we could stay there. Most wedding venues require you to exit by 10 but Almond Springs let us go until 12. I would definitely recommend hiring a shuttle service (we used SLO Safe Ride) or drivers because the roads are pretty dark when it gets late.
Almond Springs was truly the best wedding venue we could have asked for. Thank you Jacob and your whole family for making us feel so welcome and letting us throw a wedding that really felt like us.
We could not have imagined a better place or better people to share this joyous occasion with. We never gave a second thought as to how our day would go. Almond Springs is magical!! Our wedding venue cancelled on us when my husband and I had to postpone due to COVID, so I had to go venue searching for a second time. As stressful as that was, I am SO HAPPY that it happened because that led us to book Almond Springs.
First, it is the most beautiful ranch style venue we've ever seen. They have different buildings that our guests were able to explore and take photos in, which everyone loved. The have a saloon style bar area in a separate building that was perfect for our bartenders. Every building has the same ranch decor, it is all so beautiful and it made our decor so easy because we didn't have to do much. Our photographer loved the venue, and we got so many beautiful photos taken at so many different locations!
Second, Jacob (manager) and his family are the sweetest people ever. From the start, they told us that they would do their best to make our wedding vision come true, and they delivered. They were so helpful, understanding and flexible. They were there during our entire event and tried to help with whatever we needed. We were also able to book their photobooth which made it easy for us to not have to deal with another vendor!
One thing I was nervous about was people getting lost since the venue is a little bit in the middle of nowhere. However, Jacob sent me a PDF that I was able to send to all the vendors, and a cartoon map that I posted on our wedding website, along with written instructions. To my knowledge, no one got lost and all our guests arrived on time. I also made sure to let everyone know that there is no rideshare services available, and all of our guests were able to figure out rides home.
Looking back, I would do this day over and over again a million times (and every time at Almond Springs!). My husband and I had the best time, and our guests absolutely loved our venue and our wedding. 10/10 would recommend booking with Almond Springs!
What a wonderful place for a wedding!! The ranch decorates itself and we wouldn’t have asked for better service! The owners were there to walk us through everything and make our day completely magical! I would highly recommend this venue, the photos came out gorgeous and there’s just so many amazing ways to set up the ceremony and reception. The full kitchen made it a breeze for our catering staff and the saloon was just so perfect for drinks! I really could not have asked for a better day! One thing to note, finding this place can be a little challenging so I would highly suggest getting a shuttle bus for your guests. Thank you for making our day so beautiful and memorable!!
This Venue is hands down The BEST Venue. Carly and Jacob are just the absolute best. They make you feel like FAMILY. Our wedding day still feels like a dream. 2020 was not easy year to plan a wedding, but Carly and Jacob made it feel effortless. The venue has everything at your fingertips. From a kitchen used wonderfully for our rehearsal dinner and a walk in fridge, great for your floral arrangements and your cake. The stand alone western style bar is epic. The Beautifully constructed Barn, Man Cave, Bar and Cabins all built with such craftsmanship. The venue needs very little additional decor and is very easily personalized for your special day. From Day 1 we knew this was the place for us. My Husband is from Missouri and this was the perfect elegant and rustic venue. Tip: take romantic pictures on the hill top, you will not regret it. Sunset in the background and rolling hills with your now husband or wife!

This venue was amazing! During such a stressful time and with the added bonus of everything being shut down, Jacob was the best! He was totally on our side and his “customer service” was incredible! He answered every phone call or text immediately. We ended up having to switch to this venue last minute and we are so happy we did. Pictures turned out incredible here and all of our guest commented on what a nice venue it was! The only con I think we had, is that there is hardly any cell service and the directions to get here are a little tough. But I would 100% recommend this venue to any couple I know! Thank you Jacob and the rest of Almond Springs for making our wedding day so amazing!!

Y'ALL, if you are looking for the perfect place for your rustic wedding, look no further! Our wedding here was an absolute DREAM. COME. TRUE. Stately oak trees, a big, beautiful barn, fields of grain, an authentic saloon, twinkling string lights, gorgeous cabins, and more! Carly and Jacob were seriously INCREDIBLE and made our day flawless. The amenities are above and beyond. It was seriously so perfect it makes me tear up just thinking about it! One major thing we loved about this place is that we were able to celebrate as long into the evening as we wanted to! Line dance the night away!! I spent years dreaming of my wedding day. I never knew what exactly I wanted it to be but I had tons of ideas. When I found Almond Springs it clicked. Everything fell into place. It’s open enough that you don’t feel crowded with large numbers of guests but set up in a way that makes in feel intimate. Since our wedding in 2016 and I have attended other events at the venue. They have continued to update it and make it more beautiful every time. When I attend other weddings I constantly find myself comparing them to ours. I’m sure everyone with a positive experience thinks their venue was the best. But I can’t say with total confidence that you will not be disappointed in this choice.

We continued our education at Cal Poly, SLO where we earned degrees in Agricultural Business and Recreation Parks and Tourism, respectively. After spending some time working on our careers, we have both found that operating Almond Springs is what we are most passionate about. Helping people achieve their dream wedding or event has proved time and time again that this is what we love to do!
