Alexandra of ALN Images was a dream to work with! I’m a type-A control freak (and a fellow professional photographer myself) so I’m ultra picky, and she delighted us completely. We did an engagement shoot at the Philadelphia Academy of Fine Arts in the spring of 2024. Before the shoot, Alexandra and I exchanged literally dozens of emails, and she answered all of my questions with an abundance of information. She did 100% of the communication with the venue, helped with outfit planning, and set up a Pinterest board for us to go over some poses ahead of time. She was prepared to shoot immediately when we arrived at the venue, and her knowledge of the space and its lighting made for an efficient and plentiful shoot—she even wore two cameras so she didn’t have to waste precious time changing lenses! My fiancé and I have very different personalities in front of the camera (I’m all about it but he’s incredibly shy), and she understood our dynamic perfectly. She made him comfortable enough so that she could really capture his personality, and he even said he would shoot again with her after we finished (high praise from him). She asked plenty of questions about what we were comfortable with, and was gentle and accommodating about poses that were out of my fiancé’s range. After the shoot, she sent us over some shots immediately that we could use for our engagement party, and the final edits were ready in her stated timeframe. Her editing style is simple and refined, and the final images represented us authentically. Overall, we look forward to working with Alexandra and ALN Images in the future and would recommend her without hesitation.

We were referred to Alli and ALN images by friends of ours who had hired her to shoot their engagement and wedding photos. After our first call with Alli to talk about wedding package options, we had already felt like we’d had known her as a friend for years!! Alli is funny, kind, creative, and very detail-oriented— All essential attributes of a top-tier wedding photographer. She has quite the eye and motivation to get “THE SHOT,” even if it means laying on the sidewalks of Philly to get it. ;) Even with a busy wedding day timeline, Alli remained calm, cool, collective, and professional. Six months later and I am still obsessed with our wedding photos. Alli was awesome to work with. I felt like we were already friends when we met on the day of our wedding and now we even stay aware of each other’s happenings on social media! This made the photography experience feel so natural and super chill. Aside from making the day awesome, her photographs are beautiful. I really appreciate her attention to detail, balance of light and movement, and overall photo journalistic style. Our pictures by Alli could be featured in a fashion magazine! Alli (ALN Images) is truly exceptional. As a 2023 bride, the photographer was by far my #1 priority. After combing through what felt like thousands of photographers, nothing was really “speaking” to me. For our wedding, my husband and I wanted something different from the traditional light and bright, staged bridal photos. After many frustrating searches for a wedding photographer that can provide something different, we finally found Alli at ALN Images. Her images were filled with authentic moments that had contrast, depth, and youthfulness. After reviewing Alli's portfolio and meeting with her, it was clear she was our photographer. She listened to all of our ideas and request to have a mixture of unique but traditional photos and was onboard immediately. Every image is so natural yet polished beautifully by Alli. The photos help us remember feeling what we felt on our wedding day. We knew Alli was going to be the photographer for our wedding from the moment we spoke to her. Through the whole process she was super attentive and went the extra mile to be sure we got all the shots we wanted. The day of our wedding was chaotic of course, but she was calm and collective the whole time. The photos we received were also excellent with nice rich colors and smooth tones. She also processed amazing B&W photos! Alli is a true artist and master of her craft.

My husband and I loved working with Alli (and Nick on our wedding day). She did our engagement photo shoot in addition to the wedding. She made us feel so comfortable and had us laughing and smiling organically the entire time. Candid photos were really important to us and Alli captured every moment beautifully. The quality of her work was impeccable, from the digital and prints to the photo album. Any review try cannot do Alli justice! My husband and I are not comfortable in front of the camera at all, but she put us at ease immediately. From our engagement photos to our wedding photos, having Alli there felt like having a friend we could laugh with and have a good time with. The result of such comfort can’t be understated! My favorite photos from our wedding are the ones where my husband and I are laughing, joking around, and loving each other the way we do - which usually isn’t photogenic, but Alli found the beauty! If the rumors are true about rain on one’s wedding day, then my husband and I will be together forever. Alli worked around the rain (aggressive down pouring and hail) and dark skies and still managed to find beautiful lighting. We also absolutely loved the assistant Alli brought so if you’re worried about having one fabulous photographer and one not-so-great one, worry not! If I were to do my wedding over again, I might tweak a few things, but I’d never change the photographer. Throughout the months of planning to our engagement shoot to the wedding, we always felt like we were Alli’s only client and had her full attention. She answered every question, addressed every concern, and even the results speak for themselves. Whenever my husband and I have our photos taken professionally again for our next milestone, we’ll be reaching out to Alli.

I cannot say enough about Ali!!! We had the most wonderful, fun and professional experience with her on our wedding day as well as our family photos. Alli was amazing through the entire wedding planning / wedding day experience! She was easy to work with and helped bring our vision to life for both our engagement photos and our wedding day. We met Alli when she was shooting my sister's wedding, and she was so incredible we knew we had to hire her for our wedding day. From the beginning to the end, she was professional, easy to work with, and such a fun person to be around. Again and again, she impressed me with her commitment to "getting the shot", whether that meant lying in a puddle on a rainy day to get the angle she wanted or working through her dinner break at our reception. Throughout the planning process, she was detail-oriented, thoughtful, organized, and helped me with all the little details I wanted to make sure came out well (will velvet bridesmaids dresses work, where should we go for bridal portraits, etc.). On the day of, she was the perfect mixture of in the background, letting my husband and I have our time together, but also was able to wrangle together my huge family to be sure we got all the group shots we wanted. But most importantly of all, Alli has given us the most beautiful wedding photos I've ever seen. She completely captured our vision of what we wanted for our day and immortalized all the joy and love of our wedding. Run! Don’t walk! Alli is totally your girl!! Without hesitation I would totally recommend Alli. You meet her and instantly want to be best friends with her. I met Alli when she came to the dental office I worked at and we instantly clicked! She followed my love story from basically the beginning and when it was time to pick a photographer she was a no brainer. My fiancé loved her just as much as I did the first time he met her. I wholeheartedly recommend Alli as the professional, kind, prepared, and talented photographer that she is. She captured both our surprise engagement as well as our wedding day. From when we asked Alli to be part of our wedding, to the wedding day itself, she was committed to making it the best day possible. Always reachable, Alli made time visit the wedding venue in advance (twice!) to plan out the best shots. She even joined our call with the videographer to meet them and collaborate on a smooth content capture. She provided honest feedback on the flow for content capturing and best packages that fit our needs. Alli is absolutely incredible!! We got to call her before we worked together to get to know one another and discuss visions/hopes for the shoot and wedding. She had such amazing ideas. She came into town for our engagement shoot in the Asheville Mountains and did a phenomenal job! The photos turned out great and were delivered in no time! Alli is SO talented, and it was a dream to work with her. What grabbed my attention about her photography right off the bat was how she does such an amazing job capturing people in the moment. She was very insightful in the planning process , provided ways to condense/ capture moments within our schedule , and provided ideas on other elements we could capture for our big day. When I found Alli/ALN Images through a few wedding websites I knew I had to find out if she was available for our wedding, and book her ASAP. I fell in love with the way she captures emotions, love, laughter, and light through her photography. It was the exact style we were looking for. Alli also shot our engagement photos about a year before the wedding and captured the exact look and feel we wanted for our engagement photos. Working with Alli for our engagement photos and getting to know her left us so excited for the wedding day! She is so much fun and so great to work with! Leading up to the wedding, we great communication to align the day of timeline and all the details and shots we wanted to make sure we captured. The day of the wedding it unfortunately rained but we made the absolute best of it and got the most stunning photos inside and outside regardless of the rain. I had the pleasure of having Alli photograph my wedding in July 2021. Alli was on point with consistent and clear communication when my wife and I were picking out what type of custom photography package we wanted to go with. She was also a great help in helping us create our photo album after the wedding. My wife and I are a dual military couple and were both away for the majority of the wedding planning process; so Alli was a life saver when it came to helping us over email with decision making and recommendations. Her passion for photography and creativity is self evident by looking at her work alone, but working with her before, during, and after the wedding was just so straight forward and easy. We found Alli through our wedding website builder.. we had no idea where to start and she was the first photographer we interviewed. That was all we needed! She completely understood what we wanted and ran with it. For our engagement shoot, I knew I didn't want the typical light and airy shoot... I wanted to wear black and have incredible scenery to add to the moodiness. She was AMAZING! On our wedding day, she captured every single aspect of it beautifully. I love that we have black and white photos as well as color, and the candids which is what I really wanted to have lots of are amazing! We love her so much we made sure she stayed for our pizza truck after the reception was over and can you believe she even took photos with my veil on in sweats ! Those were some of the best photos of the night! She's amazing! I can't thank her enough for everything

We absolutely loved working with Alli for our engagement photos! She is so easy to talk to right from the beginning! She truly listened to my vision and concerns. In this Covid era we wanted to take each step of our wedding planning slowly. And she was willing to move at our pace. I was a little intimidated thinking about posing for a whole photo shoot. But she dispelled my awkwardness and made us feel like gossip girl models running around the city! Ali feels like a friend who knows my best angles and how to make me laugh. Alli at ALN Images has an incredible eye and style when it comes to wedding photography. Her images have forever captured the wonder and excitement my wife, family, wedding party, and I felt on our special day. She did an excellent job keeping pace with our event-filled Manhattan nuptials that included photography at the hotel, church, dinner, and even impromptu sessions around town in between! Alli beautifully captured our intimate July 2021 ceremony and we are looking forward to having her back for our May 2022 reception! You rock Alli!

Alli is the bomb. Our pictures turned out absolutely amazing! Alli has such a creative eye and captured some of our most amazing moments in such a beautiful and nature way. She was so calming and made us feel so comfortable throughout the entire day!! Our gallery of wedding pictures is to die for and I literally look at them every single day. Her style and editing is so natural and classic, which is timeless and will never go out of style. I can’t thank Alli enough and I highly highly recommend her!! She will do you justice on the biggest day of your life.

I procrastinated writing this review because I have so much to say about Alli /ALN images and it's difficult to express how awesome she is! We first fell in love with her talents from PhillyinLove.com and were blown away by the natural beauty of her photos - she captures light, emotion, intimacy, and the human experience so well. Nothing looks forced or posed. I also appreciated the variety of settings in which couples were captured - outdoors/indoors, nature, architecture, cloudy, sunny, etc. It's not all one tone or overedited, which can happen with other photographers. When we met with her, it felt so much more natural than anyone else I'd interviewed, and I knew we'd be comfortable having her with us on our wedding day. Since we live in Boston but were married in Philly, we really wanted to capture our Boston time for our engagement session. I feel incredibly lucky that Alli came to Boston for this. We were blown away by her dedication. She came a day earlier than the session, touring the areas I had picked out, finding the right spots in advance, and coming up with a rainy day contingency. She was totally flexible and accommodating, even in this new city. We extended well beyond our scheduled time to get the sunset shots I wanted, and walked all over Cambridge - we had a TON of different looks to choose from given this dedication. We felt totally at ease with her throughout, which allowed my fiance and I to just enjoy the session. Our wedding in Philly was like that session on steroids - even our guests commented on how hard Alli worked throughout the day to get every different type of shot. She was down for every iteration I hoped for (including standing in the middle of a 4 lane street to get a shot of city hall or standing on pews at Church to get a shot of me coming down the aisle from above). There was so much she didn't HAVE to do but she went above and beyond to capture our day with the vision we had. And that she did - her photos of the day are perfect. There are stunning, elegant, classic, timeless ones; fun, playful ones; intimate, sweet ones, the list goes on. I will obviously have these forever, and I cannot imagine having anything less than ALN Images' product or our experience with Alli. The attention to detail, the naturalness of it all, and the beautiful images at the end are exactly what you want in a photographer and I highly recommend hiring ALN Images immediately.

We were first drawn to the emotions Alli captures in her photos - the crinkle of laughter and joy you catch in couples’ faces in photos that last for decades - but the beauty of her artistry are photos you want to frame throughout your house. One can only describe our selection of Alli for our engagement and wedding photographer as photographic kismet. Alli’s passion, energy, creativity, artistry, light-hearted humor, and focused professionalism sets her apart from other photographers. She went out of her way to scout the engagement/wedding locations, and made us feel SO comfortable going into our engagement photoshoot with her. Despite being a couple who has never taken professional photos, Alli made our day feel like a refreshing catwalk of elegance. When tragedy struck first thing in the morning when my fiancée tripped, fell, and skinned her knees before our engagement photos, Alli was on the ground with us, demonstrating her adaptability as well as her genuine compassion to ensure the day was still magical. She made spending hours on a cold, fall morning so much fun as she effortlessly found all of the best lighting and angles, motivated to make every shot beautiful and artistic. She’s the kind of girl you want to become friends with and attend your wedding as a guest because she’s so incredibly sweet and genuine. Above all, this miracle of a woman is dedicated to getting the perfect shot, even if it means getting on the ground to take pictures. By the end of the shoot, we were sad it was over, but looked forward to seeing the pictures. We were amazed by how many photos she produced and were so incredibly grateful. She is the absolute QUEEN of vivid, dramatic color as well as black and white, timeless photographs. We can't wait for Alli to take our wedding pictures, and HIGHLY recommend her for any big event you'd like to capture beautifully on film. Cannot say enough good things about Alli! From the beginning through the end she makes you feel comfortable (even if, like me, you hate being in front of the camera). She did both our engagement photos and wedding photos. She will hike a mountain in the rain with you to recapture the moment of your engagement while making you laugh the entire time. Alli truly listens to what moments you want pictures of and captures those moments flawlessly. My husband and I got our wedding photos a few weeks ago and continue to go through them to relive the day, incredibly grateful!!
