Aloha Events Catering

We hired Aloha Events Catering for our wedding at the Olowalu Plantation and they did such a wonderful job with the setup and the food was absolutely delicious! First of all, Michelle is very easy to work with and great at what she does. She really knows the business and will often provide great insight and advice when needed or asked. Everyone had wonderful things to say about the passed appetizers during cocktail hour. For dinner, we had two action stations: a grill station for the steak and chicken and a Pacific Rim Station with the fish, spicy garlic shrimp and sushi. Chef Lee even showed off her skills cooking pad thai on the wok. Everyone found it so entertaining. The food was cooked to perfection. Chef Lee did an amazing job and to this day I still get compliments from our guests about the food. We had them do the dessert bar also and the cheesecake was a hit. I'm very happy with the way everything turned out. You will be in great hands with this team.

We did a buffet with a variety of selections - chicken with boursin, steak, and ravioli - as well as a side salad table. It was a hit with our guests! Everyone complimented the dinner selections. Not to mention, we heard the appetizers were great as well - particularly the poke. Excellent variety, and quality preparation.

My husband & I are total foodies so it was very important for us to have beautiful and delicious food made from scratch of local ingredients and fresh flavors at our wedding reception. Chef Lee and her staff create the most beautiful and delicious food that is full of fresh ingredients and complex flavors. They also provide 5 star table service. All of our guests were blown away by the service and presentation that Aloha Events provides and they said it was the most beautiful and delicious food they have ever eaten at a wedding.

The food was excellent and the chef was a pleasure to work with, my husband is also a chef and this is the catering company he decided to go with and said was the absolute best. So one chef picking another one was enough to tell me this is was the best choice for us. Chef Lee is great willing to work in your budget and with what you want.

The menu choices were wonderful.  All of the food was delicious from the appetizers to the entrees.  The staff was completely fantastic.  My dad is still talking about his meal.  The bartender made our signature drink into something everyone is still talking about.  It was delicious. 

We never did a food tasting because we did a destination wedding and ended up with bland food. Presentation was good but what's the point if you have bland food. Not recommended. Expensive.
