everyone will tell you that your wedding day will go by in a flash. & they aren't lying to you! as much as you might try to sit back & take everything in, you just can't. & everyone will tell you you need a videographer. once again, they aren't lying to you. Charles was everything I could have hoped for & more! he showed up to my wedding ready to run thru the rain & make magic. he put up with my ever demanding friends & other vendors & I couldn't appreciate it more. so fast forward to two month later, when I got my wedding preview. I cried all over again! I could feel the love all over again! getting married in Hawaii you don't "forget" how breathtakingly beautiful your venue is, you just get to see it in a new light. I could never have seen the "whole picture" if it wasn't for this video. & then add on top of that, seeing all those faces, that flew thousands of miles for me my husband, the feelings are real. my husband will tell you over & over, Charles & his drone were worth every penny & then some. I couldn't be more thankful for Charles & his assistant. they captured the love, the smiles. the tears, the laughter & all the dancing & put in into a 6 minute video that was movie theater quality that everyone is raving about. mahalo niu loa Aloha Films.

My wife and I could not be more happy that we chose Charles to be the videographer for our wedding on 8/22/19. The pre ceremony communication went very smoothly, as Charles was very responsive and easy to talk to. On the day of it was a joy to work with him. My wife and I are not used to being in front of the camera, but Charles made us feel so at ease and had great energy so that the shoot didn’t feel like work. He knew the locations within our venue at Kualoa Ranch that would make for great shots. He gave us much needed direction during our shoot while capturing natural moments. Charles is only one of two videographers allowed by our venue to use a drone, and the footage added an amazing element. The finished product turned out better than we could have imagined! Out of all the videographer portfolio/videos I saw online, I was most impressed with Aloha Films. EVERY single video had so much thought put into it, it didn't matter if it was a wedding or a real estate video of a home. Charles and his crew add feeling and capture the true essence and beauty of what they are filming. To be honest, the drone shots are what made his work stand out. The aerial views of our venue are worth every penny alone. Charles created the most wonderful wedding highlight video of our wedding day. Professionally, he was easy to work with and made us and others feel very comfortable in front of the camera. He worked well with the photographers we hired and the music choice for our highlight video fit so well with the feel of the day. If you are wondering if you should get a videographer--YES GET ONE! My husband and I also added the live feed package to have the ceremony broadcast live to those who could not make the wedding. It is an added expense that is well worth it to share this very important day with friends and family who could not be in Hawaii with us. Both the ceremony and highlight videos will help us remember just how wonderful and full of love our day was. Chris and I were looking for a great videographer. We had a pretty tight budget but knew just how important a great videographer would be. We honestly had no idea where to even begin finding one. We went to a bridal expo and saw so many vendors! Only ONE stood out to us as amazing and that was Charles. The moment that we met him, we knew he was the perfect fit for us. His personality just exudes positivity and it was so evident the passion that he had! He was the only person we left talking about. Our Adventure Session with Aloha Zoe helped me find the most incredible surprise proposal I could have ever imagined. Their extensive knowledge of the island's best kept secrets led us to some of the most incredible experiences of our lives! Whether it was swimming with sea turtles & manta rays or hiking to scenic waterfalls, or cliff jumping at South Point, every moment was such an adventure that we'll always cherish.

If you are thinking of having a videographer at your wedding, look no further! Charles Roach at Aloha Films is the best! When my daughter and her future husband met Charles at a Bridal Fair, she was “swept off of her feet” for the second time. So, when I went to Hawaii to help with wedding arrangements I met with Charles. I must admit I was “swept off of my feet” as well. We talked for over 2 hours about his work and I watched his samples with amazement. I asked him what would happen if it rained. Charles showed me how he actually slowed down the rain and made it an important part of the film. Between the time that we met and the day of the wedding if I had a question Charles texted me back immediately. On the day of the wedding, Charles was at the hotel and ready to roll. His comments and attention to detail were fantastic. From the beading on my daughter’s dress to the flowers for the attendants, he captured it all. And, we hadn’t even left the hotel room! The day was beautiful and Charles took some amazing shots of the wedding party at several parts of the Hilton Hawaiian Village where we were staying. There was no pressure to stage a shot but he emphasized being natural. Upon arrival at the church, Charles was there ready and waiting. He and his assistant had 3 cameras set up and after the ceremony used an aerial drone to capture what we could not see at eye level. During the reception, Charles never stopped moving; Video from all angles, and of everyone in attendance. The best part was that Charles was the “invisible man.” Even though we knew he was there, he was behind the scenes. It was like a free flowing movie production. The results are absolutely awesome. Having taken video of special occasions in my children’s lives, I always thought I was doing a good job. Charles proved me wrong. He is courteous, professional and open to suggestions. On the other side of the world, a royal wedding was taking place. However, we had the BEST videographer! I would strongly recommend Charles Roach of Aloha Films for any occasion so that you can relive the memories of one of the most important days of your life!

Charles did such an incredible job with our wedding video!!! I probably watched the preview 20 times within the first 24 hours of delivery and can't help but smile every time I watch it! It was such a perfect documentation of our day and brings me back every time! He was so great through the entire process. I hired him less than a month before our wedding, which was luckily on a Monday so he was available. His drone shots are what drew me in to his work and the drone shots for our wedding did not disappoint!!! And the colors were so real, bright and vibrant, which I love! I am so so happy we hired Aloha Films and would definitely recommend to any searching brides.

From the day we first contacted him to the day of the ceremony we were extremely impressed by Charles on his creativity, fun loving spirit and almost instant communication. We eloped in Oahu from Chicago and had to move up the planned day by two days due to the incoming hurricane Lane. Charles was accommodating and so thoughtful. I called him to say we were going to be 15 min late and he said something along the lines of “it’s ok and I really want you to breathe and take a moment to know this is your moment that you’ll always remember and take your time. This is your day.” He gave us a sense of calm when we needed it most and at the ceremony made us laugh and at ease under time constraints to get the perfect sunset ceremony we’ve always wanted. We can’t recommend Charles enough! Two weeks after returning home we received the highlight video that was simply stunning. We played it at our family reception and everyone was in tears. What can I say... Charles is the seriously the BEST!!! I would give him 10 out of 5 stars if I can! Me and my fiance' live in California and we visited Hawaii a couple of weeks ago. We had the pleasure of working with Charles for our save the date video! I will tell you that he is very talented and creative!!! He definitely has the talent to tell a beautiful story by capturing intricate details of people and events. My husband and I met Charles of Aloha Films Videography through our wedding photographer Jeanne Viggiano. Although our meeting was via face time, we had an instant connection with Charles. He was understanding, patient and personable and his can-do attitude meshed very well with ours. We felt confident that he would take great care of us. Our instincts proved right, we couldn’t have asked for anyone better than Charles! Like many couples, we had a limited budget, but we were pleasently surprised at how flexible Charles was and he customized his service and provided us several options to fit our budget. Charles was fabulous at capturing amazingly breathtaking moments that we will always cherish and treasure. And he did all this while totally blending in and not detracting from our event.
