From the very start Darci was super communicative, friendly, full of advice and tips, and open to what we wanted and were looking for. Despite a few changes past deadlines, everything we could have hoped for happened. Darci and her team took amazing care of us. From the photos and video, to the live music, everything was as we wanted it. We mixed Hawaiian, Christian, Irish, and Jewish traditions to make this a wedding to remember. top marks to Aloha Maui Dream Weddings! The only negative - and I am being nit picky - was the entree at dinner was not served warm enough. There were only 16 of us, so there is no excuse. Thank goodness we had one of the best tasting wedding cakes I have ever tasted.

When I first began planning my wedding, my venue recommended Darci and her staff at Aloha Maui Dream Weddings, and I was not disappointed! She was so easy to work with (even from afar), and was always quick to answer any and all questions I came up with. When we began planning the intricacies of my event, she had TONS of recommendations and ideas that all perfectly matched my vision. The entire day ran PERFECT and the end result was beyond anything I could have even imagined- straight from my Pinterest board! Our wedding was an absolute dream. Darci was incredible at making the planning process go as smooth as possible. We had a hiccup beforehand and werent sure if our officiant Robert Kuya would be able to make it, and Darci was able to get another in time. Both officiants ended up making it, and both Kahu Alalani and Robert Kuya performed our ceremony. It felt extra special and we will always have a piece of our hearts here. Definitely recommend! Our wedding was the most magical, beautiful, and fun day of our lives. Darci effortlessly pulled all of the details together to make it possible. I communicated with her via text and phone throughout the course of 7 months, she was always patient, kind, and answered all of my questions. On the day of, Darci and Penny were just fantastic. Their attitudes were contagious, and they made everyone feel comfortable. Darci very clearly told us what we needed to do and we really felt like we were in capable hands. I trusted that I could simply tell her what I wanted and she would make it happen. And that’s exactly how it went. Our wedding was the best day of our lives and we will always be grateful to Darci and Penny!!

Darci was wonderful. She helped us every step of the way. We travelled to HI from PA and had many questions. She patiently answered all of them. We missed our marriage license appointment because our plane was late and she helped us arrange another time. Sherylinn at the license center waited for us. Reverend Kuya was wonderful and our photographer Ian from Penny Palmer photography helped us feel comfortable and made memories for a lifetime.

TLDR; Choose AMDW! I completely agree with everyone else here - Darci and her team were remarkable. I thought of myself as a pretty hands-off bride and had a slight moment of panic the month before our wedding... can a Word doc with a few pictures and notes be enough to execute a wedding? Well, it was literally magical! And it's not just the couple saying that - everyone in our family and wedding guests did too. The venue, flowers, vendors, etc. were all better than I could have imagined. I left a lot of details up to her and she crushed it! Darci is a total professional with a lot of experience and connections on the island. You can trust her for everything along the way. Which is exactly what you want for a destination wedding that doubles as a vacation! We enjoyed the wedding weekend with zero stress knowing that if anything came up, Darci would take care of it. I can't recommend her and her team enough. A couple of small notes in case it helps: It seems like she prefers text and email as a means of communication after the initial call (easier to refer back to, so I was on board). She has a well-oiled cadence that gets things done when they need to get done, but she has a lot of clients so it wasn't super hands-on in our case until 2 weeks out. Then you feel like her top priority :)

Darci and her team are simply amazing! And it doesn’t stop with just the planning of the wedding! They are above and beyond amazing! You will not be disappointed! From time of booking until a week after we arrived back home… still so responsive and helpful! I could go on and on about how wonderful her entire team is… but I promise you. Book your wedding with her and you WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED! I never imagined that my dream wedding could be so carefree and without an ounce of stress! We simply showed up that morning at 8:00 am.. which at first I was like… seriously? But Darci assured me I would not be disappointed due to the color of the water and lighting the morning sun provided! Upon our arrival she had everything I described ready and on point, right down to a replica open ended lei I wanted carry draped across my arms. The ceremony was fun.. lighthearted and relaxed.. just as we dreamed! Her team is complete with just real down to earth people. The kind you would love to go out and have a night on the town with. A few days after the wedding we ended up with a flat tire up in the mountains, an hour away from civilization.. within minutes she was on the phone with me, knew exactly where we were based on our description and helped arrange a tow truck to come get us! Then continued to follow up with us the next day to assure all was well! I guess you could consider her and her colleagues the epitome of a full service company! So if your reading this review as I did before booking with her.. don’t hesitate.. don’t question yourself.. email her and then sit back and relax, because the hardest part is over! The rest will be the best experience you can ever imagine!

I cannot recommend Aloha Maui Dream weddings enough! They made everything so perfect and so special. Coming from Ohio to Maui for a wedding is stressful and they made everything so easy! From the details of the day to post ceremony dinner recommendations! Darci and Penny are so amazing! Our ceremony was magical, literally like something out of a fairytale.

With this being our first trip off the mainland US and not knowing what to expect, these wonderful ladies brought us the experience of a lifetime. We expected a run of the mill conveyor belt wedding service and were provided a breathtaking experience where we were catered to, explained, and put as the center of attention every step of the way. We were asked to provide a synopsis of our relationship prior to our vacation and were astounded when they recalled so many details, as if they did their homework to tailor the experience to us with extreme precision. Exceeding expectation is an understatement. We can't recommend Darci and Penny enough!!!!

I can’t say enough about Darci and her team of professionals. We put our trust in her and she did not disappoint. All of our expectations were far exceeded well beyond what we expected. She loves what she does and it not only shows in how she works with you but throughout all aspects of the experience. Maui Dream Weddings was amazing! My wedding was even better than I imagined. Darcy and her team were super responsive and very helpful. We actually had our original venue wash out and Darcy immediately solved the problem with an even better venue! My husband and I were very impressed.

Let me first start with how super amazing Darci was with helping me plan my simple, basically an elopement wedding with only 4 of us. We had the basic package and no extra frills but she still make me feel like I/We were a priority to get the wedding we had envisioned. She gave us great information on beaches best for sunset weddings and where to get a wedding cake. She also helped send us links on covid regulations for Hawaii. I really enjoyed her sense of humor and friendliness as well as again making me feel like my wedding was a big deal even though it was super small scale compared to what I am sure she is used to. The officiant to the photographer were also the absolute best! We LOVE OUR EXPERIENCE fully and extremely grateful. My only sadness is that I actually didn't get to meet her. :) Cheers and Mahalos for your time!

My husband and I were married in September 2021 and worked very closely with Darci and her team at Aloha Maui Dream Weddings. Darci and her team were so wonderful!! Every detail was handled and all questions were answered very quickly. By the time we got to Hawaii I was confident everything would be handled perfectly and it certainly was. Darci and her team made sure communication was clear and frequent taking the guesswork out of trying to plan a wedding from afar. I would highly recommend Darci and her team, it was a fantastic experience!

Great experience from the beginning to the end! Darcy has been super helpful all along the process. She was always available to answer all our questions, and she made things super easy for us. The ceremony was just perfect, everything went smooth, we just had to enjoy, Darcy was taking care of everything else! We definitely recommend her if you want to get married in Maui. Prices were affordable compared to the other packages and we like the fact that things were easily customizable and could match what we wanted.

Our wedding was rescheduled due to the pandemic. We weren't really sure how if it would work out this year but it did and it the whole experience exceeded our expectations. Darci and Penny kept in contact with us throughout the year checking in and giving updates. It was great using that time to build a foundation of trust. They really care about their clients and it shows! When the date got closer they were so helpful in reminding us about testing, coordinating with the State of Hawaii to get our marriage license, providing any recommendations during our stay in Maui, checking in on me on the morning of our ceremony, and reminded us to not forget the rings and license docs before we headed out the door. They were thoughtful and we really appreciated how communicative they were. Kuya married us and Ian was our photographer and those two were a hit! They worked so beautifully together and the ceremony just flowed and was stress free the entire time. It was absolutely perfect! Right after Kuya left the beach he submitted our license paperwork and we received an email that it was already filed. I figured it would take a day or 2. We were promised our photo packet within 3-4 weeks. NOPE! No waiting there either! We received them 6 days later. Our WHOLE experience through a pandemic and all was top notch and exceeded our expectations. Aloha Maui Dream Weddings really work hard and create relaxing, stress free, and beautiful dream weddings. Ours was nothing less than perfect! I am so grateful we chose them to be part of our big day! Honestly you will not find better service, photography, attention to detail, or care from another business like them. They lead with love and are amazing at what they do. Aloha Maui Dream Wedding made planning so easy. There was no stress or worries going into the wedding day. There were certain details we did not want in the ceremony and they made sure they were not included. Penny was our photographer she was so easy to be around and be ourselves. If I could give them a million stars on everything I would! Aloha Maui Dream Weddings really means it when they say “dream weddings”. Planning a destination wedding can be very difficult but Darci made it unbelievably easy. Before working with Darci, I was actually with a different planner at a different company and all communication was done via email. Each decision would take 1-2 days because of the time difference between Maui and Texas. Because things were moving at a snail’s pace, I started looking for other options and found AMDW (thank God!) I told Darci my guest count and budget and within minutes she found a great option for us. By going with the venue she found for us, we saved a lot of money and we got way more bang for our buck. After signing on with AMDW, Darci was attentive and easily accessible via text and was SUPER prompt with emails. Darci is very knowledgeable, attentive, and straightforward - everything you need in a planner. From the makeup artist, to the videographer- Darci was able to save me so much money with all of the vendors she has access too. TRUST HER, she won’t steer you wrong. She has excellent taste but is always mindful of your budget. She also has a great personality and will definitely make you feel at ease from start to finish. The day of the wedding was absolutely a DREAM. We had our wedding at Gannon’s in Wailea and it was absolutely STUNNING. We couldn’t believe that our venue could be so amazing! All the decor and florals she helped us pick looked gorgeous. Darci and Penny were with us the day of and Darci did a wonderful job managing our guests, bridal party and my tipsy groom ;) Everything went very smoothly! Darci thought on her feet to alter the schedule slightly so that we could get cake cutting photos while the lighting was still nice outside. Gannon’s doesn’t set a set price for your open bar and will charge you per drink. We had an alcohol budget and when our bar tab was starting to approach our budget, Darci pulled me aside to let me know so that we could make the decision to keep going or do last call. THANK YOU SO MUCH DARCI AND AMDW! We couldn’t have imagined a more perfect wedding for us!

Darci and Penny were fantastic! They made our wedding experience completely stress free and the ceremony was beautiful. Our families were so impressed with how smoothly everything went, especially since we live far from Hawaii and it was my first time visiting so I didn’t know what to expect.

My partner and I had a beautiful intimate ceremony at Makena Cove in Maui at the end of Sep 2019 and it was romantic, personal and simply perfect thanks to Darci and a great photographer Penny who captured our special day. Darci was very helpful at answering all our questions before the ceremony, gave great tips on the best time of the day for the ceremony (for the morning, definitely go with 8am - trust Darci and you will not regret it). She was patient with answering our questions from what part of the island we should stay at, to makeup/hair/flower vendor suggestions. She made the wedding day stress free. The ceremony itself was perfect for me and my partner and we will remember it forever! The photos turned out so great thanks to Penny, that we ended up buying the whole gallery as there were so many great shots, that we didn’t want to give up any. We strongly recommend going with Darci and Penny for anyone planning a wedding in Maui. Mahalo!

Aloha Maui Dream Weddings exceeded my expectations! Darci was available to me every minute from the first time I contacted her. Her responsiveness was 100% and she understood exactly what I needed. She looked after every little detail, right down to picking a flower for my hair from her own Plumeria tree. Our wedding was absolutely perfect! Private, intimate and incredibly romantic.

We had our initial wedding planned by Darci and photographed by Penny and it was an amazing experience! They both were very welcoming and accommodating with every ask. Darci and her team were amazing! I can't say enough good things about them. Planning a wedding in Hawaii from Missouri, when you're not familiar with the location, is not exactly an easy task. Darci was there every step of the way. She was able to plan a wedding that was 6 months away in a matter of hours. She had the musician, photographer, videographer, officiant, and location locked down the same night I first spoke with her. She was able to adapt our ceremony to fit us and not make it just another cookie cutter destination wedding. I told her over and over that she was my fairy godmother, and she really was. I don't know that I could have pulled off everything she managed.

Darci is a MUST HIRE when planning/coordinating a wedding. I started searching for a coordinator early in the planning process and I found her through TheKnot, went to the website and was immediately messaged by Darci asking if I had any questions. She sent pricing/packages that night and within a couple days we booked her day of coordinating services. From there she explained the process and what she needed from us. She sent over a detailed questionnaire that helped guide us in all the decision making for our wedding. We spoke on the phone, over text and through email and she was quick to respond and when she didn’t have time to answer all of our questions in that moment, she communicated when she’d have answers. Fast forward to the rehearsal, Darci did an amazing job making sure our wedding party knew exactly where to be and what to do. When the groomsmen got a little out of hand, she pulled them aside to ensure they understood their part. We walked away from the rehearsal feeling at ease and knowing our day was in good hands. The day of our wedding she texted me to keep me in the loop that she was there and all was going well- this made it so we could relax! Darci got us all down the isle & had a shot waiting for us once we officially tied the knot! She also kept the guests engaged with our photo guest book and made sure to box our cupcakes for their favors. I do have to add that the night before our big day we had a last minute change to our guest list and I was able to text her details and all was taken care of. I’d advise you to stop looking around for planners/coordinators and BOOK DARCI! Darci, thank you so much for all you did to make our big day special. Just wow! You think you're ready, and then Darci comes in and you realize, I didn't have it worked out at all. That's the genuine feeling that my husband and I had last week. As a bride, I was completely stress free on the day of my wedding because of Darci. If you're looking for a coordinator, do not hesitate with Darci. We had a 70 person wedding and it was nothing short of AMAZING! She'll keep you AND your guests of track. She truly was the difference maker in our wedding and my wife and I could not have been happier with our decision. In addition to being a true professional, Darci was incredibly accommodating and made sure we were comfortable and taken care of all night.

AMDW was an absolute pleasure to work with planning our special once-in-a-lifetime dream wedding! I missed him terribly as I walked Julia down to the circle of flowers, but felt him walking with me and giving me strength to lead this family So give yourselves a hug, a pat on the back and a day at the beach. We hired Darci to coordinate our wedding in Maui and never looked back. She responded to my online inquiry within a few hours which I always appreciate especially with the 6 hour time difference where we are. She immediately answered all my questions about how the process works and we booked her right away. She immediately coordinated our photographer, hair and makeup and officiant. All the details were taken care which left us with nothing to worry about! She always checked in and if I had a random question, she always had the answer. To say Thank you is a understatement and 5 stars would never be enough. We are so very lucky to have found Aloha Maui Dream Weddings! Darci is the most attentive, organised and dedicated wedding planner who’s attention to detail is outstanding. Darci made our special day so perfect with all the personal touches. Nothing was ever too much trouble from the initial email to even after the wedding where she helped with where to eat, taxis and local trips which weren’t even part of our wedding day. Penny captured our day perfectly with the most awesome pictures, she made us feel at ease the whole way through and we had so much fun with her! Darci and Penny are the dream team!!!! I contacted Darci after reading all of the great reviews for Aloha Maui Dream Weddings. I wanted to have a 25th. anniversary SURPRISE vow renewal ceremony on our favorite Maui beach (we had been to Maui before). My wife was to know nothing about it until the ceremony began. It was to be on her fiftieth birthday, but on that day Hurricane Lane hit, and we had to cancel the entire trip. We rescheduled a month later, and Darci made sure that everything we had planned for the original date came to pass on the new date. The surprise went off without a hitch. I told my wife that I wanted us to get dressed up, go down to our favorite beach, and find someone to take some mobile phone pictures of us. When we got there (and my wife composed herself after the surprise), Darci, Penny and Kuya provided us with exactly the low-key Hawaiian ceremony I had requested. Penny's pictures were beautiful, and they even had a special vow renewal sign made up for us to use in the pictures. The affair was affordable, fun, loving, and if I were to do it again I would certainly use Aloha Maui Dream Weddings. Thanks Darci, Penny and Kuya for making our special event so wonderful!

We decided to get married while we were in Maui, 6 days before we arrived there. I was in a panic to say the least. Thinking to myself, that there would be no way to pull a beautiful wedding with such short notice. Darci Responded quickly. She asked what I wanted and Wha laa like magic she had it all done. She was easy to work with, organized and through. Darci exceeded my expectations in every way. Literally this was the easiest, best day of my life. PERFECT!!!! Destination Wedding without a worry!!!! I loved every minute of our Maui dream wedding!!! It was easy because Darci from Maui Dream Weddings put the whole thing together for us! She got to know us through email and text and by the time we got to Maui we could relax bc everything was set!!! Location, flowers, music, minister, photographer, unity vessel, marriage cert, dinner! I couldn't be happier!!!!

There aren't adequate words to describe how amazing Darci was! Planning a destination wedding from CO could have been stressful and difficult, but Darci made is the complete opposite. She took care of EVERYTHING and it could not have been more perfect. From the personalized vows (drawn from just jokes in conversation between us and little tidbits I mentioned about my husband) to the fun, funny and inclusive wedding. All our guests commented how amazing she was. Photography was incredible too. I can't recommend Darci enough! We are so grateful to her for really making our day perfect and unforgettable!

Looking at all the great reviews, it should be no surprise that our experience was AMAZING! We are not a fussy couple and didn't really think of details for our wedding day. Honestly, we were excited to be married, but not into the logistics of it all. I'm sure had we chosen anyone else for our planning and photos, all would have just fallen flat and nothing special. Darci and Penny took care of everything and kept us excited in the days leading up to our elopement on the beach. We deferred to them (the experts!) on many of the decisions and they knocked it out of the park! There is no way I could have made everything turn out so wonderful on my own. Soooo Happy!!! Mahalo!! Darci and penny made our elopement a very special day! They are very professional and reasonably priced. They had many different options and packages to choose from. Our photos were fantastic and everything I could imagine plus more. They truly love what they do and take the time to make sure everything is perfect and that you do not have to worry on your special day. One day we will be heading back to renew our vowes with them! Darci and Penny, Where do I start?! I was never the girl that dreamed about their fairytale wedding growing up. I never imagined my perfect wedding dress, hair style or decor. Not to Imply that I never thought it would happen one day, it was just not something I pictured as a little girl. When Rob and I got engaged, I had NO IDEA where to even start! I joined all of the bridal email list to hopefully gain some clarity. It didn't work, lol. Overwhelmed doesn't even begin to touch on how I was feeling. After Rob and I decided that we would "elope" in Maui, it got even more overwhelming. How was I supposed to plan our wedding 4,605 miles away. I googled so many companies. I almost chose a different company until they sent me a sample wedding video. It made me cringe. I started focusing more on the reviews of these companies. I came across Aloha Maui Dream Weddings and loved the reviews I was reading. I reached out one night and the planning began. We put 100% blind trust in these women solely based on social proof and that is why I hope anyone reading this, that might be on the fence, chooses AMDW! From the start, Darci put my mind at ease. She was readily available for me whenever I wanted to talk, even with a 6hour time difference and anytime I started to panic, she would bring me back to normal and reassure that everything would be great! She scheduled our marriage license appt, she linked me up with Bea from Classic Elegance Artistry who made me feel like a princess and she made sure every single detail was perfect! We had an awesome unity sand ceremony that included my son, who also got a Lei during the Lei exchange. These 2 ladies then hiked almost a MILE down a cliff to accommodate a photo shoot that we really, really wanted. It was hot and uncomfortable but once we were down there, Penny was in her zone. She is so professional and so good at what she does. I could not have asked for more from these two! For the little girl who never dreamed about her wedding day, If I had, I am POSITIVE it was exactly how June 29th 2018 went. We are glad to have you both as our Ohana now! We love you! Mahalo! P.S.
