Absolutely amazing work!!! Alohabug Photography exceeded our expectations. Rizza was just perfect: she was punctual, patient, warm and enthusiastic. She had great vision and ideas ...
for specific shots. She gave us exactly the direction and vibe that we needed. The day was totally enjoyable; it was such a fun and memorable experience and that was before I saw the photos (which, by the way, was ready very shortly after the shoot!). The photos were incredible. She did a perfect job of capturing us in our essence and we couldn’t be happier! I think I might have to frame them all! Thank you Alohabug Photography for your fun spirit, great energy, your vision and your professionalism. I can’t wait until our next photo shoot!
Rizza is so laid back, funny yet professional and so much fun to work with! She made my husband and I feel so comfortable during our engagement shoot and especially on our wedding ...
day. I couldn’t have imagined having anyone else there to photograph our big day. She is so extremely talented and such an expert at what she does! Our pictures are absolutely beautiful and she captured such truly beautiful moments.

Working with AlohaBug was such an awesome experience. Most wedding planning can take a toll on you and become stressful, but they made it so easy and were flexible with every quest...
ion/thought I had. We had an elopement and had a few changes leading up the day and they worked with me every step of the way and were more than accommodating of the changes. Day of was smooth and was so happy she was able to go off our list provided but also had her own ideas which turned out great. For two people that can’t take nice pictures to save our lives, she really captured us in an awesome way. We are so thankful to have these memories for years to come.

e and I wasn’t willing to compromise even if I went over budget. I’m also an indecisive person but when Rizza got recommended to me through my brother’s friends I immediately checked out all and any information I could find about Alohabug photography and quickly fell in love with her style. Of course my next step was to meet her and figure out if it was gonna work out with my budget and the vision I had in my head for our pictures. I can honestly say I was truly blessed to find her, not only was she professional all through out our interactions she was extremely patient and very good with communicating about our needs. She also did our engagement photos and it truly speaks volumes of her talent because my now husband is very awkward taking photos and Rizza made sure to make us feel comfortable and to have fun and by the end of it we were all laughing and having a good time and I was surprised how natural our photos came out. I can’t say this enough but Rizza is truly one of the best out there. ❤️

hoto shoot with us at Coronado. She made it very easy to communicate with her while I was in Canada planning our trip, and once we arrived at the shoot we had so much fun. Rizza was punctual, easy to work with, very professional, and the quality of her photos are incredible. She helped us with angles and poses that we never would have thought of and the collection of photos we ended up with we will cherish forever. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for high quality photos and an extremely enjoyable experience. Thank you again Rizza!!
Rizza is such an amazing photographer and person! I found her through Groupon and I'm glad that I did. She was so professional, yet super fun and friendly. She made the experience ...
very enjoyably and memorable. My fiance and I had our engagement shoot at Hotel Del and we couldn't have asked for a better turn out! Though, it probably was the most windy day of the year. Rizza wanted us to have great photos so she even asked us if we wanted to reschedule due to the wind, but I had already done my hair and makeup so us girls know how that goes lol! Anyway, her concern about our shoot was very sweet.
In the end, it actually worked out in our favor because Rizza captured amazing wind action shots. She was a trooper to stick with us during the sandy-hurricane wind! I highly recommend her to you and everyone I know who needs a photographer. You will not be disappointed! Not to mention her customer service staff was so helpful with all my questions. Unfortunately, we are not getting married in San Diego. Otherwise, I would use her for our wedding. If we need a Christmas card or if we have kids, she will definitely be our photographer:)
Rizza restored our faith in photographers! We were looking for a last minute photographer for a vow renewal on Coronado Beach and after much searching, we found Aloha Bug! Her pric...
es were just what we were looking to pay and we received more photos than some of the other photographers offered. She did a beautiful job photographing at sunset which can be tricky. There were so many excellent photos that we ended up taking more than planned! She was very easy to work with and made us feel at ease. Rizza was so professional we almost forgot she was there snapping away for all the beautiful candid shots. Since we actually live in Tennessee, communication was important since we didn't have a chance to meet with her before the ceremony. Rizza kept us informed and quickly answered all our questions via email. We would recommend her business to anyone needing a photographer and would use her again if we ever have the occasion.

e value, I was unsure how they would turn out...needless to say we were blown away! The customer experience has been superb...Rizza was very efficient in her turn around time as well as response to emails and any questions I had. The value is terrific and she will make sure your final product turns out just how you want it. I also loved how comfortable she made my boyfriend and I feel. It was our first time in front of the camera together but she was sure to crack some jokes and make us super comfortable which allowed for very natural and beautiful shots. I also loved that she showed us a few pictures here and there so we had a general idea of how things were turning out and were able to adjust accordingly! Thank you Rizza for such an amazing experience...should we find our way back to the West Coast we will be sure to pay you a visit :)
Rizza is the absolute BEST! After liking only 1 of 300 engagement pics from another photographer, we were concerned about our wedding photos. Rizza made us feel completely at ease,...

eting her for both me and my husband, who absolutely hates having his picture taken. Rizza made us both feel really comfortable, which shines through in the beautiful pictures she took of us. I already had to cancel two photo shoots with our photographer back home due to bad weather, so I was super nervous about these pictures not turning out exactly how I had been building them up in my mind. Instead, they turned out even better. Rizza really listened and made sure the final result was everything I wanted and more! On top of the amazing experience we had, her prices are extremely reasonable and some of the best you will find in the San Diego area for high quality work (trust me, I spent a lot of time looking). Thank you so much!

e to capture, and of course, the big day timeline this past October. We liked that she captured the raw moments so beautifully and used the natural light to really emphasize our happy day. Our expectations of both our engagement shoot and our whole wedding day were far exceeded. We can't even pick a favorite photo because there are SO MANY great ones! You are fun, professional and she even gave us a sneak peek of a few early so we could send our our "thank you's" as holiday cards! Reasonably priced and your eye for capturing our love was truly spot on. THANK YOU so very much for giving us pictures of such a special day we will cherish forever.

Rizza rocked our session, we had our holiday/family/maternity photos, and it was done with excellence, just what i needed, quick and easy, even with my 2 year old, she got the shots that i am more then satisfied with , i would recommend AlohaBug to anyone, i know how Rizza (the Owner) works on the big wedding jobs as well, since we do work together all the time, and she does and amazing job.

Neither of us have done a photo shoot before so Rizza was super helpful in helping us pose for photos; head tilts, where to put my hands, how to hold each other, etc. Her experience was invaluable to the session. Everything was kept light and fun, so much so the 90 minutes zipped right by.
Based on her guidance, our photos turned out great and there was a wide range of poses and angles to choose from. A lot of poses I wasn't sure about while taking them actually turned out to be some of our favorites.
Overall we enjoyed the experience so much we asked her to shoot our wedding, but unfortunately she was already booked for the date.

at Balboa Park. My fiancé and I have never gotten professionally photographed before, so this experience was great practice for our upcoming wedding (:
Rizza was punctual, responsive, and always had great suggestions in terms of where and how to pose for pics. I also liked how she asked if there were any particular spots in Balboa Park that we really wanted to get photographed at.
Overall, the value of the Groupon and the experience was really awesome and went above our expectations, especially for our first time. She also worked well with our dog, Buddy (yes, family pics of myself, fiancé, and Buddy!) In the meantime, can't wait to see our photos!!

was holding her up (even when I was 3 hours later than I said I would be to take pictures), she has great ideas for photos, she is also open to any ideas you have and she was just such a joy to have at our wedding. AND her photoshop skills must be amazing because it was 100 degrees the day of our wedding I was sweating like a PIG but in all the photos she makes me look the most beautiful I have ever seen myself (as well as everyone!).. even the photos from the end of the night everyone looks glowing! and not the messes we probably actually looked like haha.. I booked her especially because she has an amazing eye for candid shots, which is exactly what I wanted. She has a way of being there for all the sweetest moments and really bringing me back to the joy and happiness I felt that whole day. She is so sweet and amazing, I would seriously book her for any important moment in your life.. I don't think you could meet a better and more nice or helpful photographer than her.

presence on our wedding day. Her work speaks for itself, so definitely check out her website. Some of the things we were most concerned with/picky about when looking for a photographer were 1) quality 2) price 3) lighting and editing, and 4) ability to capture great candids - Rizza exceeded our expectations with all of these! Definitely looking forward to working with her in the future for maternity and family photos. Highly recommended :)
