g. Everything flowed perfectly, timelines were executed flawlessly, and any behind-the-scenes challenges were handled so smoothly that I never even knew they existed. That kind of peace of mind is priceless, and it allowed me to truly be present and soak in every moment. This was achieved through a couple meetings with Amanda where we hashed out the timeline, and she even helped me to account for some issues that might arise. I was able to voice my concerns any time I had any, and she was a delight in her reassurance.
It felt like having a trusted friend guiding me through one of the most important days of my life.

Living in Canada, I needed a wedding planner in the Palm Springs area to be close to my venue and vendors and, of course, be my go-to since I was in another country, and she did not disappoint. Amanda was so easy to work with; extremely responsive, flexible to coordinate calls with my busy schedule, very organized and totally understanding of my questions and needs (especially with helping me, or actually just taking over, in my challenging communication with my venue). I felt the same ease and connection with her that we'd had over the phone when we finally met at our rehearsal.
During our rehearsal, Amanda was great with my family and bridal party and especially with me when I changed my processional side 3 times and we had to practice several times in the hot PS sun because of it. She was still kind and patient and was happy with whatever I wanted to do (can't say the same for our bridal party, haha!).
On our wedding day, Amanda was there to greet us at our venue and the set up and decor looked exactly as I envisioned. Although I knew she was running around, taking care of everything, she always seemed to be my side whenever I needed her or to let us know what we were about to do next. I really was able to just rely on her for everything and had no idea of the time or of any issues, if there even was any. Everything I needed, she was on it! Even my parents and my guests commented to me on how impressed with Amanda they were, especially with her professionalism and kindness.
I really had a smooth experience working with Amanda in the planning process and we had an amazing and no-stress wedding day (best day ever!). I know none if it could've happened this way without her help and guidance.

Coming from someone that’s Type A, I would...
say punctuality was concerning at times. She rarely called at our scheduled times, she was late to rehearsal and showed up an hour later than stated on the actual wedding day.
We walked through the ceremony flow 3 times which I felt confident about; however, we didn’t rehearse the officiant speaking which led him to go rogue during the ceremony. I don’t fault her for this; however, if we had more time maybe we could have practiced everything ceremony related during the rehearsal.
On the day of, I sent her notes for decor that were overlooked (remove rows of chairs for ceremony for example). She did really well at pivoting and communicating decor changes as the wedding was outdoor and it was super windy. For example, the wind was blowing the bud vases over at the dinner table, so those were removed. I bought vase beads in anticipation of this issue which she used. I’m unsure if water was also added to the vases for support or not, but although the vases were removed, the beads were left behind on the table which wasn’t super pleasant (again for someone Type A life myself).
Amanda and her assistant did an AMAZING job cleaning up and packing up the decor at the end of the night. This is SUPER helpful, as our wedding was a destination wedding and we needed to pack the car the next day and drive 7 hours back home. She also helped with putting in my veil, bustling my dress, and ensuring we signed our marriage certificate. Overall, her aid during the planning stages brought me the reassurance I needed to make it to the wedding day. On the day off, she made sure I could focus on glam, photos, and enjoying time with my guests. I wasn’t stressed for a second!

I also sincerely appreciate your honest feedback regarding punctuality, communication, and some of the details that were important to you. I understand how rescheduled calls and timing concerns could create added stress, especially for someone who values organization and structure, and I take that feedback very seriously. I’ve already begun implementing stronger systems and processes within my business to improve consistency and communication moving forward.
I appreciate your comments regarding the rehearsal as well. When I learned that your dinner was running behind, my intention was to allow everyone a little extra breathing room and avoid making the evening feel rushed. However, I understand that impacted the amount of rehearsal time available, and I absolutely agree that additional guidance and walkthrough time can be especially valuable when officiants are not wedding professionals.
Regarding wedding day timing, I do want to gently clarify that my contract guarantees arrival three hours prior to the ceremony, and I arrived approximately four hours beforehand. However, I understand that my earlier estimated arrival window may have created uncertainty, and I apologize for any stress that caused.
Because I was the only professional vendor present that day, my assistant and I were managing a very wide range of responsibilities throughout the event — including coordination, setup adjustments, ceremony flow, MC/DJ duties, guest guidance, troubleshooting weather-related decor issues, and cleanup. We were truly happy to help in all of those areas to keep the day running as smoothly as possible.
With the outdoor setup and heavy wind, we were actively adjusting decor throughout the evening to keep everything secure and safe. Unfortunately, while managing multiple moving pieces at once, some smaller details — like the remaining vase beads on the tables — were overlooked, and I completely understand your frustration there.
I’m truly grateful for both your kindness and your honesty. Your feedback is something I will absolutely carry with me as I continue growing and improving my business. It means so much to hear that despite the challenges, you felt able to fully enjoy your wedding day, focus on your guests, and be present in the moment.
