I understand how rescheduled calls and timing concerns could create added stress, especially for someone who values organization and structure, and I take that feedback very seriously. I’ve already begun implementing stronger systems and processes within my business to improve consistency and communication moving forward. I appreciate your comments regarding the rehearsal as well. When I learned that your dinner was running behind, my intention was to allow everyone a little extra breathing room and avoid making the evening feel rushed. However, I understand that impacted the amount of rehearsal time available, and I absolutely agree that additional guidance and walkthrough time can be especially valuable when officiants are not wedding professionals. Regarding wedding day timing, I do want to gently clarify that my contract guarantees arrival three hours prior to the ceremony, and I arrived approximately four hours beforehand. However, I understand that my earlier estimated arrival window may have created uncertainty, and I apologize for any stress that caused. Because I was the only professional vendor present that day, my assistant and I were managing a very wide range of responsibilities throughout the event — including coordination, setup adjustments, ceremony flow, MC/DJ duties, guest guidance, troubleshooting weather-related decor issues, and cleanup. We were truly happy to help in all of those areas to keep the day running as smoothly as possible. With the outdoor setup and heavy wind, we were actively adjusting decor throughout the evening to keep everything secure and safe. Unfortunately, while managing multiple moving pieces at once, some smaller details — like the remaining vase beads on the tables — were overlooked, and I completely understand your frustration there. I’m truly grateful for both your kindness and your honesty. Your feedback is something I will absolutely carry with me as I continue growing and improving my business.
