easonable and they asked me to submit a picture of what I wanted our wedding cake to look like. They promised they could do what the picture entitled. Days before my wedding as I'm running around on very little sleep trying to get everything done, I stopped by Alpen Rose to drop off my cupcake boxes. The cake decorater stops to talk to me and tells me that my design for the cake is not possible and I have to either go out and buy flowers for her to decorate or come up with a new design. NOT what I needed days before my wedding. The cupcakes turned out perfect. Our wedding cake did not.

a plated meal. The service was fast and professional. We were charged a per-person price for the meal and a per-bottle price for wine (we chose not to have champagne or a bar of any sort). A few extras--having some trees outside the window lit with light strands, using their cake server set, etc.--were free of charge. Their prices were very reasonable. Since the restaurant is also a bakery, we had our cake made there too. The only outside vendors we needed were a florist, a photographer, and a DJ. This meant we had very little coordinating to do on the day of our wedding.

e perfect rehearsal dinner. I was a little apprehensive about having the event here, as we consider our style more contemporary, but this place exceeded our expectations. The space was gorgeous. I would highly recommend AlpenRose to anyone looking to have a rehearsal dinner in downtown Holland.
