The staff at Al's Formal Ware are very professional make you feel special for your wedding day they afe there to guide you through what ever ideas you may have for grooms.
We had a terrible consultant that told me the Eggplant was not a color that Al's Formal Wear offered. She pushed me to rent a bright purple that she promised would come in darker. ...
When the ties arrived days before the wedding, they looked like a bright pink. When I showed another associate, they fixed the problem by rush ordering the ties in Eggplant. If the second associate had not saved the day, everything would have clashed and looked terrible in photos.
Working with Als in Conroe was a huge nightmare. Within a 10 month period many items that we picked and re picked out were discontinued and a big system update caused all of our se...
lections to go away. The groomsman were given the wrong ties. The groom was given the wrong vest the day before our wedding and had to go pick up the correct one the day of. They also forgot cuff links for the groom. I have no idea how a company who helps with weddings planed over a year long period typically can have so many changes and errors. Do not use Als unless you want added stress on your big day.
We did Al’s formal wear for the groomsmen wear. I wouldn’t use them again ever. You could probably find a place to buy the tuxs for the price it cost to rent. Plus they kept discon...
tinuing the stuff we originally chose. We wanted a darker grey color with brown shoes. They got rid of both so we went a light grey and grey shoes, got rid of the grey shoes, so we went with black. All this happened less than year before the wedding. Why did they have to discontinue things when people have them picked out for weddings?!! Someone mentioned in this group that their groomsmen bought tuxs from a place and spent the same or less. I would highly recommend research that route. One groomsman who wears a size 14 shoe got one shoe in size 14 and the other was a size 11. He wore the shoes without telling me until the end of the ceremony. I made him change lol
Perfect if you don't have a deadline! However, if you're getting married on a specific date beware, because they act as if they could care less. It appears to be all about volum...
e with this place - to devil with pesky details like policies, returns, turn-around times, etc. Al's Formal Wear firmly believes in keeping their customers guessing! Missing cummerbund? No problem! YOU can drive to the next location (which is likely at least 5-10 miles) to pick it up! Need save-the-date cards out by a certain time? Why bother? By the time they have it coordinated with their 3rd party vendor the date will likely have passed anyway. Enjoy bad attitude as part of your shopping experience? Al's has you covered! All snark aside, all of these things actually happened to us OR was witnessed happening to other customers. Avoid, avoid, avoid.
Even though we had several mishaps with the tuxes, Al's came through and made everything right for our big day.
If I could give no stars I absolutely would. They were a nightmare to work with from the beginning. I will tell everyone to not use them. First they messed up the contract... they ...
gave us 2 free tuxs but then refused to honor it after they said they had to if it was in the contract... we checked the contact and sure enough it was but they still refused. They made one of our groomsmen come back and pay the remaining balance when it was their fault. Second, when another groomsmen picked up his tux he told them it felt too tight they told him it must be because of his "gut"... so basically calling him fat and then when he called them out on it they 2 girls just laughed. One of tuxes was missing buttons, another jacket and shirt was way too big and they couldn't or wouldn't (who knows) give him another size (they measured him by the way). That groomsmen had to safety pin his shirt together in the back because it was so big. He ended up changing right after the ceremony because he looked so bad. Just don't use them! Stay far, far away... pay the extra money and go somewhere else. Somewhere better.
Al's formal wear was awesome. I had a very formal wedding (black tie optional) and my groom and both fathers rented suits with tails at Al's and they looked perfect. The fit, the f...
abric, the cut, everything was exactly how it needed to be. My now husband looks so handsome in all the pictures and I can tell he felt great and continues to do so when he looks at his pictures. I love that they include even the shoes and that they gave them a few days to try it on before the wedding and a few days to return it after the wedding, reducing our levels of stress. Thanks. Al's!!!!
DEERBROOK STAFF ROCKS!
Service is fine, the value is a bit over rated.
Had a great time at this Al's Formalwear in particular. Ms. Sublett, the manager, put us at ease. She made suggestions to save money, and special ordered some of the merchadise for...

My husband and my two sons got their tuxedos here. It was a great time looking for the right ones.

ok, and he looked sooooooooo good. Tux were picked up in Texas and Louisiana. Everything worked out just like you said. Thank you Theresa for the suggestions on the attire for all of the men. You were so on point with the trends!
They had the exact colors I was looking for to match the bridesmaid dresses (Cari and marine). The groomsmen wore navy blue and the groom wore silver in a pattern that looked like ...
armor in a way, which went perfect for my Cinderella theme. The price was very reasonable for all that was included in the rental. The staff were very nice and accommodating to all my needs. There are so many locations across the USA that it was very easy and hassle free for all the men to get their tux at a location close to where they live. I highly recommend the store in Baytown, Texas!
wanted to get some last minutes changes done to the grooms tux and they were as helpful as can be!!
Had to add last minute replacement groom man. They were able fit him Friday and have the suit ready Saturday by noon in time for ceremony
The people were so helpful and kind. Very reasonable price and tux matched perfect with bridesmaid dresses!

We ordered the groomsmen vests that matched the bridesmaid dresses. We had a more casual western wedding so tuxedos were not needed. The vests were all ready for pick up and drop o...
ff was very easy.
I was not happy with Al's Formal Wear. They told us to have all of the orders in early since it was prom season, so all of the groomsmen were fitted at least 2 months before the we...
dding. There were problems with 6 out of the 7 tuxes that we ordered. One groomsmen had a completely different suit all together. My dad did not even get his shirt in time for the wedding, so we had to buy a different one. We were constantly told that we would have to wait because it was prom season. The guys had to wait 2 hours at the store just to get one suit. I would not use or recommend them to anyone.
Went to the one off Bay Area and the manager was amazing! Took care of everything quickly!
I thought they were great at first but when I said I wanted the guys in a double breasted tux they said great. 2 weeks before the wedding we had the groom try on...the tux looked a...
wful on my 6'4" skinny groom. They said of course that would not look good on his build. I was so upset that they waited until 2 weeks before the wedding to give their professional opinion. So we changed the tux and I was happy. Until 2 days before the wedding they messed them up. 3 groomsmen had the old tux and 3 had the new tux! Inward very upset with them but let my groom take care of it. In the end the groomsmen were able to exchange the tux a in time. They did miss rehearsal because of this vendor but it could have been worse. Grooms's tux was free because we has so man groomsmen.
We ordered all our groomsmen and groom and fathers of the bridal party here. They did a great job especially since we had a large bridal party. Everything went smoothly and even go...

my wedding party rented their tuxs from Al's formal. They messed up on the sizes they fixed the error by the next day. All the men looked extra handsome.
Al's was the only place that had our colors thank god for them.
They say they can match any color, but they didn't. We had to settle for the next available color. The lady the first attended us was not too helpfull. She wouldn't let the groo...
m try on a display jacket to see if the is the look he wanted. We were able to talk to a different consultant that was more accomodating and assisted us for the rest of the party.

dding business. She had a wonderful pesonality and was very helpful. I will use this location and vendor for any other formal event that I have or attend! Kudos to Al's!!
They really helped us coordinate the colors and such. Great staff.
We rented the tuxes at the Post Oak location and the manager (can't think of his name right now) was humourous, patient and very knowledgeable.
They were very helpful and friendly
RUDE RUDE RUDE and they did not measure right so of course the pics were MESSED UP!!
These were so pretty
Wow. Where to start. These women are amazing. They are our lifesavers. At first, I started off with using men's wear house since I got my bridal gown at David's bridal and they sug...
gested men's wear house. So, we went there. I found the perfect linen pants and vests for all the guys. The grooms men were spread out everywhere. So we got them to go to the closest men's ware house and get measured and we turned them all into one men's wear house. The guy that was ordering them and took the money etc..had been moved. We received no phone call of this. We finally got a phone call weeks later then all the suits were suppose to be in since we purchased them. Then women informed me that they did not have a down payment so they did not order them. After my mom stayed on the phone with her they found the money and now the suits we had picked out were discontinued and so there where not many options left. We went to Al's formal wear and they asked what I wanted and made it happened. They were sweet and easy to work with. They took care of everything and we had no problems with them. I wish David's bridal would suggest brides going to Al's formal wear instead of men's wear house. I would have had an easier time and not have been stressed out. After all this happened, we ran into many others who had problems with men's wear house also and thought highly of Al's formal wear. I highly recommend Al's formal wear. They are amazing.
My husband and his groomsmen rented their tuxes from Al's Formalwear. They made it so easy on the guys to order them and pick it up at the most convenient location for them. Arthur...
at the Post Oak location was a joy to work with and knows his stuff!!
they were very helpful will all the fitings and since we had so many rentals we were able to get two free rentals
Great service, great price
The guy in Tulsa ordered the wrong grooms size of suit, after arguing that he knew exactly what he was doing. We got the right size of suit the morning of the wedding.
