Alta Club is a private club and wedding venue located in downtown Salt Lake City, UT. Since 1883, this landmark institution has been a home away from home for its members, having originally been established as a model of San Francisco's prestigious Union Club. Over a century later, Alta Club continues to be a place where guests can seek community, enjoy exceptional amenities, and celebrate life's most important moments with their family and friends.
This venue is situated on the historic South Temple Street, just footsteps from the city's most popular theaters, museums, and shopping facilities. The club building is listed on the National Register of Historic Places, reflecting Alta Club's legacy and historic relevance. Couples can host their wedding festivities in any of the nine on-site private event spaces. These venues have been designed and decorated to exude an ambiance of sophistication and elegance. The club can accommodate up to 200 guests for private gatherings, with flexible seating plans available.
Soon-to-be newlyweds are invited to visit the Alta Club for a tour of the property and to meet the on-site events team. All venue rental packages can be completely customized to suit a couple's requirements, allowing them to host an event that reflects their love story. The club also boasts luxury overnight accommodations, a fitness center, and three restaurants, so guests may leave the venue already planning their return visit and membership of the Alta Club.
