I had a great experience at my fitting appointment and ended up getting my dress at the sample sale the next month. I love the format of the sample sale - very efficient but you still have a personal stylist assisting you! My dress needed a lot of alterations for sizing but turned out stunning!

Complete disaster! Fell in LOVE with a designer extremely EXPENSIVE gown. They promise they can deliver and seamstress Rebecca Richards can alter. FIT AND FKARE FAIL! Dresses are NIT made to fit. Just your “ closest size” cost thousands, could “not be altered” or seamstress incapable. Blame each other, blame designer, what a mess. Had to take gown as is. Bridals and venues are scheduled months in advance- as was this shop and Rebecca Richards who was horrible! Did not do ANY fittings before due date. Full of excuses. Such a disappointment.

I absolutely loved my experience at Alta Moda. I worked with Blair and she listened to my ideas and pulled a ton of gorgeous dresses for me to try. I fell in love with one but since Alta Moda was the first shop I visited I was hesitant to buy before visiting other places. I did visit another shop and Alta Moda was so much better. The environment felt more supportive and less rushed and I ended up going back the next day to get my dream dress!

I went about a month ago and had the most wonderful experience! I ended up going by myself which was NOT the original plan, but I got there and my consultant Lexie was so positive and fun she made all my anxiety go away. Went there for a Hayley Paige gown but after trying on a few, Lexie pulled another designers dress (Galia Lahav) and it had everything that I had been wishing the first few dresses had! I didn’t plan on finding my dress at my first fitting by myself but it happened! I really couldn’t have wished for a better experience and I strongly encourage all future brides to come stop by!

I didn’t end up purchasing my gown at Alta Moda but received wonderful service during my visit. I was nervous as it was my first store trying on dresses but they were so sweet and helpful. I believe my stylists name was Blaire, and she was absolutely wonderful.

It’s a bit pricy but if you tell them what your budget is they will respect it and help you shop within your budget. I found the perfect dress and said yes on an impulse my first time in and I don’t regret it at all!

I loved my experience at Alta Moda! I’ve always wanted to get my wedding dress there. It was the first store I went to and found my dream dress! Sierra was awesome and knew exactly what I had in mind. She made me feel comfortable and beautiful! Highly recommend them :)

Emily at Alta Moda is the best ever. Alta Moda was our second shop and I loved every dress she pulled for me. Emily made our experience a moment to remember. If you are looking for a wedding dress, go to Alta Moda. They have the best dresses and the best staff. It will make your dress shopping a wonderful experience. Alta Moda was very helpful and efficient in helping me find and alter my perfect dress. I received endless comments about my dress and I was very impressed by the staff that helped my along the way.

I loooooooved working with Alta Moda. For brides just starting to look: tell your consultant up front what price range you're looking for, just the same way as you'd tell them what styles you like. I did that and they never brought me a single dress out of budget without checking to make sure I wanted to see it first. My consultant, Emily, is the coolest. She's amazing, she's honest, she's got a great feel for what people look and feel great in. She helped me find two dresses for my two celebrations that are SUPER different in style, and I've seen her make other ladies totally SLAY as well. She's a badass and she'll make you feel and look like a queen! Lenni and her crew are professional and cool af. They helped me ship a giant ball gown to my out of state venue, they hooked me up with the coolest and most generous seamstress of all time, and have checked up on my wedding proceedings and everything multiple times since. I've loved every second of my experience at Alta Moda!

Great service, only wish they had asked me my budget before putting me in dresses. I spent twice my original budget. My stylist was great at getting me an amazing dress that I would've never picked on my own and fell in love with. Helped me find an amazing seamstress and followed up with me after the wedding to see if I needed any more help.

Thanks to Alta Moda I found my dream wedding dress! They are able to provide you with a custom gown that is one of a kind. The dress I originally wanted was strapless and the designer was able to re-do the entire top to make it modest. It turned out beautifully! We modified the bottom edges of the dress as well as added additional length to the train. I worked with Kourtney and Lenny and they both were amazing to work with. Very attentive and ready to accommodate our needs!

Thanks to Pinterest, I found Alta Moda Bridal. After months of searching online, I had found that all my favorite dresses came from this boutique. My Maid of Honor & I flew out to SLC from NC for an appointment on Friday, and to attend the sample sale on Saturday. They have a service for out-of-town Bride's where they will pick you up from the airport and take you to your appointment, which we did. They were on time, and they also had a cute snack platter for us at the store while trying on dresses. Megan, the stylist I had, was extra patient and kind, as I tried on almost every dress they had. I was having a lot of trouble picking a dress and they never once appeared frustrated or tried to rush us. They even drove us to our hotel (it was about a mile away). I couldn't have asked for a more accommodating experience. We attended the sample sale the next day, as I did not find one on Friday, and were able to find THE dress, that was on sale- and was not one of the millions I tried on Friday. I don't want to leave out the quality of the designers that they sell either. Friday evening we visited another local Bridal shop (just to see if I found another style that I liked, because my fiancé said I better come home with a dress if I flew all the way out there), and the quality absolutely did NOT compare. In fact, I decided then that I would buy a dress that I didn't even like, as long as it came from Alta Moda. The other bridal shops dresses looked so cheap after visiting Alta Moda Bridal, and I would've never known if I hadn't of visited both places. It is definitely true to say that you get what you pay for, and I am SO in love with my dress from this boutique!

Alta Moda carries beautiful dresses and they make you feel special while you are looking for your prefect dress. My bridal consultant understood the look I was going for and knew her dresses and also kept me within my budget. Once I bought the dress and it was ready for me I was extremely excited to have some additional family members come with me for my first look. They were coming in for the weekend and when I called Alta Moda 4 months in advance to make a Saturday appointment they told me they do not do first look appointments on Saturdays, even though that Saturday was not booked yet and they had plenty of open appointments. After numerous emails back and fourth, and having to speak with management they were able to accommodate my request for a 30 minute fitting that Saturday morning. While I understand policy, I was hoping they would have treated me the same as they did when I was first looking for dresses, and after spending a couple thousand dollars they would have a more open policy around booking appointments for their brides.

Absolutely loved working with the team of fabulous women at Alta Moda. Since my wedding was in New York City, but I live in Salt Lake City, I was determined to use as many local Utah vendors as possible. Alta Moda proved they could compete with the best of them in New York. On the day of the wedding, my guests were absolutely stunned that I purchased such a gorgeous dress in Utah. There is nowhere else here in Salt Lake that I could have possibly found a more gorgeous dress to wear on my special day (yes, I looked). Every person that works at Alta Moda was so helpful from the first contact I made with them until the day last week when I dropped off my dress for preservation. They were also so easy to schedule with for trying on my dress and accessories, were flexible with last minute purchases and changes, and allowed me to store the dress and veil there until the day before I flew to New York. On top of all that, they have a terrific seamstress/tailor on hand that fit me in the dress in the weeks leading up to the wedding. Alta Moda has the best selection of dresses and most knowledgeable, professional staff. Am so glad they were part of my dream team of wedding vendors for my dream wedding.

Although I live in Washington D.C., I made the decision early on to purchase my dress and have the dress fittings in UT, where I am originally from and where the ceremony was taking place. Because of this, it was very important to find a dress shop that would be flexible enough to work with my crazy schedule. Alta Moda was the last dress shop I visited in my search for the gown, but I wish I had gone there first. After trying on dozens of dresses, I found my dress here! It was one of the first gowns I tried on, and I knew right away that it was the one. Having said that, they happily allowed me to try on others just to make sure that I had selected the right dress. In addition to housing my perfect dress, I also found my veil and accessories here, making it a one stop shop. It can't get anymore convenient than that. When it came time for fittings, Alta Moda was so great to work around my schedule and squeeze me in when I could only fly in for a day or two at a time. They also connected me with the most amazing seamstress, Pamela, who worked wonders for the few alterations I needed. The fit of my dress was absolute perfection, and I could not have loved it more. The staff there was always pleasant and often called me to check in to see if there was anything at all they could do to make things easier. I'm so glad I purchased my dress from Alta Moda. They made what could have been a stressful nightmare, an easy, breezy, stress free process, in spite of the distance. If you're in the market for your perfect dress, definitely check them out!

While wedding gowns are expensive, this place made the experience a little more worth it. They have beautiful dresses and a great staff to help with all the details. The seamstress they put me in touch with for final alterations was top notch and they stayed in touch after the wedding to see how things went. Those personal touches are great.

The best in Salt Lake City! I went to many stores but Alta Moda carries so many designers that cannot be found in other stores. They have a great selection of couture high end dresses. The staff was also so helpful and friendly. I got a beautiful Jenny Packham and it was perfection. They were also prompt in responding to my emails and calls. Highly recommend!

I found exactly the dress I wanted but it was outside my budget, this shop sold me the floor sample at 1/3 the original cost!!! Also when I had to have my dress altered the tailor, Pamela was wonderful. She even did secondary alterations right there in the shop so I wouldn't have to make the 2 hr drive again for another fitting. Worthwhile!

They helped me find my perfect dress

REALLY spendy, but I was down to the wire for my dress and they came through.

The ladies at Alta Moda were all incredable to work with. The first time I stepped into their shop in June 2012, I found my dress but wasn't entirely sure about it as my mother wasn't happy with it. I waited nearly a year before going back and trying the dress on again by myself. (At that point I had lost quite a bit of weight and the sample fit way better). In that time, they never pressured me or tried to push me to buy a dress. They respected me enough to know that when I was ready to purchase my dress, I would let them know. That made me feel very comfortable. The second time I went into their shop in February 2013, I tried that very same dress on as well as a few others. I just knew though, that first dress was the one. When they put a veil on my head, I had tears in my eyes and I knew without a doubt that this was my dress. It was perfect. In the next several months as I waited for my dress to come in, they occasionally sent me updates and let me know of the progress. It finally came in and we only had a month and a half before the wedding for alteratinos. They made it happen though. Every time I went in, they made me feel beautiful and calm. They were always calm and met me with smiling faces. Never did I feel any pressure to purchase anything from them! I had a fantastic experience! The week of the wedding, I went back in with my mother for my final fitting and although she had not been fond of the dress the first time, this time when I came out in my dress, she cried! She was in love as well. So happy to have found my Dream Dress, and so impressed by the lovely ladies at Alta Moda!

The dresses they had were beautiful, however, the lady didn't listen at all. She asked my budget and then proceeded to put me in dresses 2 or 3 times over my maximum. At the end of the session she said she would contact me and I never heard from them again, not very good customer service.

I loved getting my wedding dress at Alta Moda. They were very professional and excited about my big day. They had great suggestions about which dress to choose. Overall, I would recommend anyone to shop there!

I absolutely loved the dress I got from Alta Moda. Everyone who worked there was very nice and made me feel welcomed. They worked with my schedule to make sure I got my wedding dress in time even though it was a short lead time.

What better compliments can a girl receive when wearing her gown?!? The first was from a gentleman in the shop while his daughter tried on her dress; I was only in the sample. The second was from my husband on the day of the wedding. So I LOVE my gown! And I did not want to take it off! But on to the ladies at Alta Moda... I was so comfortable, despite not being a dress person. They listened to what I thought I wanted but I kept an open mind. We tried on eight dresses the first visit, and picked number three, which was a dress I never would have imagined on me. They were wonderful every step of the way. I brought my mom in a couple of months later so she could see the sample. And a friend went with me when the actual dress arrived. All of the ladies were almost as excited as I was the day I left the shop with my dress. My only regret is that I won't have an occasion to visit!!

Had a wonderful experience with Alta Moda. I loved my dress. They were able to build my dress with sleeves without it looking tacky. I was able to wear a designer dress! Loved everything about it. Only down side was my dress was very expensive. Yikes!

The ladies at Alta Moda understand that you're wedding is a very special day and they treat it at such. When you go in to try on a wedding dress they aren't just looking to sell you something, they are interested in you, your wedding, the people involved. By far the best customer service! I've been a lot of places with a lot of friends and there are not words to describe how nice it was to go someplace and feel like they really cared about me. So refreshing! Oh, and did i mention the selection is not only great but gorgeous! They have something for everyone. Thank you Alta Moda for helping me find the perfect dress for the most important day of my life yet!

If I could give the team at Alta Moda more stars I would. The dresses there are just stunning and the service is excellent. The know what they're talking about and always follow through on things. Alta Moda actually makes wedding dress shopping fun. Definitely go to Alta Moda if you want the wedding dress of your dreams.

I love Alta Moda. They have the most beautiful dresses and do a great job of making LDS brides not look "Molly Mormon" They have great customer service and lots of designer dresses!

I had a great experience with Alta Moda. They were helpful and very experienced. I finally found my perfect dress there after shopping for over 2 months at other bridal boutiques and trying on more dresses than I can count. My dress was perfect! A little pricey, but absolutely perfect and it was worth it!

My dress was really comfortable and I was glad because the day was so long I wasn't too tired by the end of the night. Be sure to check your dress bag because they forgot to include my bra and when I changed for bridals we had to wait for them to deliver it. They came right away but we lost about 30 minutes of daylight for pictures.

They had beautiful and original dresses I had never seen during my shopping. I loved working with Alta Moda, they made buying a wedding dress fun and easy. However, beware, they are VERY expensive.

They have a huge selection and variety of dresses. The staff was very helpful and experienced. I came in thinking I wanted one type of dress and left with an entirely different dress that I loved and that looked better on me than the one that I thought I had wanted. They took the time to let me try on what I thought I wanted and they also threw in some dresses that she thought I would look good in. The dress that I chose was one that she picked and I didn't like on the hanger but I tried it on and loved it. I had only been there to look and thought that I should look around more. I told this to the saleswoman and she took my measurements still and said in case I didn't find anything else. I like that she took the time to do that even though I wasn't definitely buying it. I did end up buying the dress and they rushed my order as well as making some changes to the dress. They were very easy to work with and very helpful. The only thing that was concerning to me was that when I was getting alterations to the length after I received it the seamstress commented that for the price I paid for the dress, the fabric seemed a little cheap. Overall I was pretty satisfied with my experience.
