What an amazing experience planning and executing a weekend-long wedding @ Rustler Lodge. Their impeccable attention to small details, like the beautiful lawn and garden, to their professional staff, who navigate necessary changes, due to inclement weather. They worked well with all the vendors. The magic touch was the rainbow 🌈 after the ceremony! How did they manage that?! Our wedding weekend started with a welcome dinner under an open tent overlooking the beautiful mountain view. The setting for the wedding ceremony the following evening was a beautiful lawn.The wedding party walked down the flower- lined stairway toward the mountains, which is very dramatic! After cocktails by the pool, we headed to dinner in the hotel. Dinner under beautifully- decorated chandeliers with, of course, views of the mountains. The staff even consulted with us as to how we wanted the stage for the band. Guests ended the evening of dancing with midnight snacks; a few in the pool. Everyone left happy after Sunday brunch.

We absolutely loved our wedding weekend at Alta’s Rustler lodge a few weekends ago. My daughter, who grew up in Utah, but now lives in California, wanted a destination wedding weekend where her friends from across the country could stay together in one location. The Rustler lodge exclusively hosted our group of 130 guests for the wedding weekend. And the whole experience was amazing. Molly Arnold and her staff made everyone feel welcome. Molly was involved from the beginning of the planning process answering our many questions and figuring out details, reservations and logistics. Our guests absolutely loved the weekend spent here. The welcome dinner was on an outside tented patio and kicked off a weekend of hiking, pool lounging, Oktoberfest and relaxing. The outdoor ceremony and cocktail hour on the back wedding lawns the following day were stunning. Alta’s mountains were the perfect gorgeous backdrop. The reception inside after was intimate and still reflected the amazing views. The guests and bridal party were able to continue celebrating late into the evening because everyone was staying at the lodge, which made for a fabulous experience. Food was excellent thanks to their in house chef, Jason. I can’t say enough about how much we loved working with Molly, her team, the lodge and our wedding planner Kaitlyn Palmer from Everson Events. The bride and groom were beyond pleased with their wedding. It truly was the wedding of their dreams in the beautiful mountains. eel completely taken care of — genuinely warm, attentive, and just wonderful to be around all weekend. Every staff member we interacted with made the weekend feel less like an event we were hosting and more like we were surrounded by friends. One of the best parts was having both the ceremony space and reception space on site, with incredible food for both the welcome dinner and the wedding reception. Even better, all of our guests could stay on property for the whole weekend, so it felt like a giant getaway with everyone we love, all in one place. The venue was able to make a custom signature cocktail from a recipe we gave them, and put together a welcome sheet for our guests with nearby activities, which made it so easy for people to make the most of the weekend beyond just the wedding day itself. Getting ready was just as special. We had a beautiful, spacious bridal suite, plus a separate room for the groom to get ready in, so both sides had their own space to soak in the morning. Lastly, the setting itself is unbeatable — there's nothing quite like getting married in the mountains at Alta, and our guests are still talking about how special the whole weekend felt. We can't recommend Rustler enough for anyone considering a mountain wedding. We already can't wait to find an excuse to come back.

are so flexible. I could email, call or text them with questions or requests and they were always available. The best part is renting out the whole weekend and having it all to yourselves and your party, thats the most unique thing about this place. While staying there, the staff are extremely accommodating and just let you do your own thing. They cleaned our bridal suite during the wedding so we came back to a clean room. The view from the bridal suite is amazing with a huge balcony. We just hung out at the pool and hot tub til late and had so much fun. I can't say enough good things about this place. I seriously didn't want to leave. I definitely will be back to stay in the winter!

ve and beyond. Super attentive, so helpful and kind. Our guests couldn’t stop commenting on how incredible everyone was. Absolutely amazing scenery outside, and such a unique vintage vibe inside. We booked the whole weekend and having everyone together for an entire weekend made it so special, coupled with the absolutely incredible food, from the Friday buffet to breakfast, to the reception dinner. As the bride I felt so looked after, and stress less the whole weekend, if I thought of something they were already trying to make it happen. There are so many accessible activities, the on site spa, very accessible hiking, the pool. It was such a joy to see my family and friends having so much fun throughout the day. I loved getting married here!

ment. We started our planning journey over a year prior to our wedding date and knew immediately it was a yes after meeting with Molly and Liza to do a tour. Our incredible (and I mean above and beyond incredible) wedding planner, Natalie Anderton (Life is a Party SLC), had previously done events at the Rustler and came with great rapport with the Rustler staff and Molly. Together we coordinated and collaborated to make our wedding weekend personalized, seamless, and the most positive experience for our guests. The Friday of our wedding weekend guest arrived so impressed by the kindness and helpfulness of the staff, the cleanliness of the rooms, and the help navigating the lodge for the first time. We opted for the Mexican buffet for our welcome dinner and WOW!!! It was so much more than a taco bar! Drinks were amazing and again, the staff were so kind all evening. Our wedding day went off without a hitch. As the bride, I was shocked by how relaxed I was while getting ready, partly because I knew we were in the best hands between Natalie and the Rustler staff. Molly made sure our room was cleaned during the ceremony which was such a thoughtful touch. We were so impressed by the food and drinks on wedding day and can’t stop thinking about the late night snacks of chicken tenders and fries. Special shoutout to Kate, Molly, and Liza for being so thorough and making our guests feel so special in addition to giving us the BEST wedding weekend. Tom and Greg were stars of the show and truly the best bartenders with the best attitudes in town. Thank you to all the Rustler staff who went above and beyond for us. We are forever grateful for you! If you are considering having your own wedding at the Rustler Lodge, do it! We simply cannot recommend it enough. hey were also very fun to chat with, and were always a good vibe. - The facility was very clean and kept in great condition. There were also lots of fun things to find in the hotel, such as an arcade room and game room on the 7th floor. - Having the entire hotel for your party for the weekend was definitely the move. We had the pool to ourselves and all of the facility amenities. - The views were nuts. I mean, obviously, we were in Little Cottonwood Canyon, but having high rustler in the background is next level - The spa was very nice, the pool and hot tubs were perfect, the food tasted great, there was shuttle service to Oktoberfest at Snowbird, the lawns and yards were manicured well, I could go on and on. Bottom line: book it. It’s worth it.

and let us have multiple opportunities to chat with all of our guests. All of the Rustler staff was so friendly and extremely accommodating to us during all parts of the weekend. The ceremony lawn and cocktail space was absolutely stunning with the views of Alta in the background. Breakfast was delectable, with delectable blueberry pancakes. Wedding liaison Molly Arnold was so easy and flexible to work with both months before as well as during the wedding weekend, and Manager Tom Pollard assured the staff was on top of everything. You only get married once - and this is the once-in-a-lifetime place for your dream wedding!

If you are wanting a beautiful Utah mountain venue stop looking and have your wedding here! This venue was beyond my wildest dreams for the most perfect wedding weekend. We rented...

the lodge Friday through Sunday which made it feel like a destination wedding weekend for all our guests since we had the entire place to ourselves. We did a welcome dinner + drinks Friday night on the beautiful patio and then our wedding Saturday with the ceremony and cocktail hour outside and the reception in the lodge. During the day Saturday we had a yoga/meditation morning session outside looking at the mountains and then the lodge provided free shuttles down to snowbird for Oktoberfest or up to hiking trails so the guests could enjoy the full mountain experience while I spent the day getting ready. Anyone staying at the lodge also had breakfast included both Saturday and Sunday so it gave us so much time to spend quality time with all of our friends and family. For getting ready they gave me the huge owners suite to use that included a large private balancing and kitchen and was the perfect place for me and my 12 bridesmaids to hang out and get ready all day Saturday. The staff here went above and beyond in every way from the planning stages through the flawless execution. I was the first wedding they hosted in 10+ years and was a bit nervous but I couldn’t believe how organized and professional they were and how well the entire day flowed. Molly is the venue coordinator and is not only the loveliest human but had so many great ideas to add. She and my wedding planner Natalie Anderson @lifeisaparty.slc worked so well together making my dream wedding a reality. ly get to choose between 3 packages. From the start, the whole wedding team at the Rustler were very warm, personal and completely flexible with our vision. We got as far as going through the contract with them (and still got excellent vibes!) but in the end a change in family circumstances meant we decided to move our wedding to a different state entirely. Granted, we haven't actually experienced this venue and their orchestration through to the end of a full wedding, but if we were to re-do and get married in Utah, or advise anyone looking to get married in Utah, we would recommend the Rustler in a heartbeat, at least based on the interpersonal interactions, variety of options, everything that comes included with the venue cost, great food and AWESOME experience for you to stay with all of your guests at the venue in paradise.
