Sean did a wonderful job of altering my wedding dress! He is very knowledgable on alterations and got everything done in a timely fashion. Can’t recommend him enough to anyone who needs bridal alterations.

EXCELLENT work. Sean really knows what he is doing. My wedding dress was made of waterfall satin, a backless (spaghetti straps), sheath dress with mermaid tail train. It has no waistline so in order to measure the proper length to hem the front of the dress. Sean marked the waistline measurement with pins so that he could measure the length from the waist to the floor to shorten the front and sides without effecting the length in the back. This was no doubt the PROPER way to do the hemming on this style of dress. Sean also adjusted the straps, so that they would not fall down. He was very engaging in answering all my questions and concerns. Offered recommendations in my lower foundation wear based on where the dress drapes. The man has a great eye to make you look your absolute best. Highly recommend Sean. And will be going back to him for all my alterations and repair needs. I no longer sew for myself but know what challenges some projects can bring. He’s worth every penny! I give him 10 stars out of 5!!!

I got my wedding dress altered here and Sean is amazing!! He gave me great advice and options for alterations. I ended up getting my dress hemmed and bustled and it was done quickly and you can see the quality of how well everything was done. I cannot recommend this place enough!! Prices are reasonable, he is quick with responding, and the alterations were done quickly!! 100000/10 recommend for any of your alteration needs!!!!!

Very honest and nice and what will be better to do to not damage my dress. It was faster than i thought since in less than 3 weeks i got my dress perfect to go!

I'm very happy that I went to Sean for my wedding dress alterations. He didn't require me to start my alterations months in advance, like the bridal shop wanted me to do. In addition, he was very patient and made sure that I was happy with all aspects of my dress. He would alter one portion of the dress, have me come in and try it one, and then alter the next portion. He completely transformed my intricately detailed wedding dress! He added boning to the mesh/beaded bodice to give me more structure and support and then removed every piece of lace at the bottom of my dress by hand to hem it and then replaced them. He is truly a master of his craft and worth every penny.

I'm not sure how he has so many 5 star reviews. I tried going there for 2 of my junior bridesmaids and my wedding dress. He was super rude and unkind when it came to my wedding dress. He told me my dress was horrible and I needed a new one. I ended up not using him for my wedding dress but he still did the junior dresses. I asked him to remove the padding from them and replace with a thinner one and he didn't do it. This is also in his garage. The pricing is high. I truly don't understand how he has 5 stars everywhere.

Sean is a consummate professional in his work and guidance on what goal you want to achieve. He was able to provide expert guidance on how to modify my dress to make it appear that it was made for me. He worked under a tight deadline to achieve quite a bit of work as I have to travel frequently. He, like many others, has adopted a work from home environment where he has created a separate space in his home for his alteration store. Don’t allow this to give you pause as his store front is better than I have seen in other alteration shops. His prices are commiserate with his expert knowledge and craftsmanship. Highly recommend Alteration House. Sean spent a lot of time with me discussing tailoring options for my wedding gown, providing honest feedback on what a realistic outcome would be for each option based on the fabric and cut of the gown. He wants you to be happy and therefore level sets your expectation, which I really appreciate. I was extremely pleased with the level of communication and professionalism presented by Sean during my experience. I brought him my dress last minute for an alteration and he was able to make much needed fixes with a short turnaround time. He also included me in on the discussions regarding what aspects of the dress were crucial to alter and what he could make minor changes to in order to save. I needed a professional to alter my wedding dress properly and don’t want my dress destroyed by being cheap. I researched many places for wedding alterations by reading the business reviews. I came across alteration house review because of the images and good reviews of the alterations on the website. I made appointment with Sean. Sean expressed to me he has many years of alteration garment experience and very proud of his work. He provided his expert advice how a garment will look and how it fit altered a certain way. I explained to him I needed the bust area to be takin in because it was too large, and he did just that. The dress looked perfect and seamless perfection. I highly recommend him is the best in what he does.

About 5 months ago I met Sean when I was shopping around for someone to alter my wedding dress and have it ready for this month in November. He explained everything in detail and it sounded like a lot of work which honestly justified his pricing; however, it was well over my budget. He was my first pick but due to costs I ended up going to another seamstress. Fast forward to 3 weeks ago when I picked up my dress, I was so disappointed and frustrated as the other seamstress left a fold in the front and the sides were sticking out a bit looking unnatural. I had it tailored to look a bit more like a mermaid dress and I get that it may create a slight fold in the front because it’s tight in the hips but it was so noticeable, sticking out even while standing. I asked the seamstress to fix it but they told me they can’t and that it was normal. I immediately thought of Sean and regretted not sticking with him. As the saying goes, you pay for what you get. I called Sean the next day almost crying and he agreed to check it out. I was so thankful he took me in on such short notice considering he had so many other dresses to fix and I needed mine ready in 3 weeks. I did 2 fittings and he completely fixed the front. I thought it was impossible to fix. I felt such a relief. He also agreed to fix the sides and back in such little time. I’m so happy with how my dress is turning out. If you want quality work, I recommend him 100% especially if you need your wedding gown altered. Don’t try to save in alterations as you may end up paying more in the long run and have to deal with unnecessary last minute stress. You are already busy and stressed with other uncontrollable things this shouldn’t be one of them.

Sean was overly accommodating! I had issues finding a new tailor for my wedding after the hurricane. He took me in short notice and finished my dress right on time. He helps you make informed decisions each step of the way and does his best to make it stress free and cost efficient as possible.

Came in needing help finishing my wedding dress. He asked what was need, I told I need to get it fitted to my body because I didn’t have a dress form that fit my body. He said no problem and he started to get it sizes to my body. Asked me to come to a final fitting and other than a few small things he wanted to double check it was perfect. He also told me to be more confident in my abilities.
