I am absolutely thrilled with the work done by Rozi! Over the years, I had her alter a few bridesmaid's dresses for me that turned out amazing. However, my wedding dress alteration...
s take the cake! I had a long engagement & purchased my wedding dress early on. By the time fittings came around, it was too small, and I was feeling overwhelmed about how it could possibly work for my wedding day. I did not know where to start to fix this issue & runway sizing had me feeling all sorts of emotions.
Thankfully, Rozi came to the rescue and immediately helped me formulate a plan, encouraging me to contact the dress shop and ask for X amount of fabric. She transformed my dress into a stunning tuxedo gown that was everything I had dreamed of and so much more. The side paneling she implemented allowed me to feel so much more comfortable and looked as though it had been originally crafted that way.
From the first consultation, Rozi was warm, professional, and incredibly knowledgeable. She was direct and reassuring when my dress didn’t fit and said, “No, my dear, this is your dress! You simply HAVE to have it.”
She took the time to listen to me and worked with me every step of the way to ensure the fit was perfect and the design captured my unique style. Her attention to detail is unmatched. She carefully altered the dress to fit me perfectly while also creating a chic, tailored look that made me feel confident and beautiful. This was expert-level tailoring, being a backless dress with mesh closure.
The finished result was beyond my expectations. The dress fit flawlessly and looked even more elegant than I could have imagined. I couldn’t be happier with how everything turned out. I bonded with her over Hungarian culture, and she taught me how to pronounce my new last name, Simonyi, correctly in Hungary compared to America. She also shared how Hungarian men have traditionally courted women through dancing at annual balls/ galas, which is how she started perfecting her craft by sewing dress patterns for these events. My husband enjoyed hearing about this connection, and it made the experience even more meaningful for me as I was simultaneously learning about his heritage.
If you're looking for someone who can turn a vision into reality, I highly recommend Rozi. She nails it every time. Thank you again for making me feel like the best version of myself on my special day!

terations and also pinned my sister’s maid of honor dress at the same time. She was polite and professional the entire time. I came back for my second fitting and the hem was completed and looked great, the arms were a little tight so Rozi made some adjustments and said the dress should be completed by my next fitting. We were able to take home my sister’s dress and my mother’s dress during the second appointment and they looked perfect. My final fitting came and the dress looked perfect. My grandmother who has done lots of sewing and alterations work in the past came with me to my final appointment and said Rozi’s work looked fantastic, I agreed. Rozi showed us how to do the bustle and the buttons and then was able to tack on my bridal sash last minute before we left. All in all, I feel that the pricing was more than fair for all of my alterations plus steaming ($594.00) and completing all of the work between July 20 and September 19.
Rozi was always on time and delivered what she promised. She was professional, caring and did wonderful work. Rozi did a wonderful job with my dress, my sister’s dress, and my mother’s dress for my wedding. We will all recommend Rozi to friends and family and will go to her with all of our alteration needs in the future!

I cannot say enough great things about Rozi!!!! She did an amazing job altering my wedding gown! My dress has a lot of intricate bead work & lace along the bottom of the dress & sh...
e was able to preserve the design & the lace with having to hem almost 7 inches off the bottom. She is so sweet and she really puts your mind at ease about any worries or concerns you might have, it’s absolutely amazing work. I would recommend her for any sowing/ alteration needs you have!
Such a great experience! Rozi is delightful and my dress is amazing!
I highly recommend Rozi for bridal alterations. I came to her with a brand new designer dress. Rozi had me try on the dress and she immediately noticed the dress was manufactured i...
ncorrectly, which the bridal shop later reluctantly admitted. Rozi even offered to communicate directly with the shop to advocate for me. She then had to redo my entire dress, which included lace and sequencing, in a very short period of time. Rozi saw my desperation and worked outside of her business hours to complete my dress for my big day. The dress turned out AMAZING! It fit me perfectly. I will only go to Rozi now. Her prices are fair. Her work ethic is superior and she goes the extra mile for her customers. Very satisfied.

ne to work on a wedding dress and I would recommend her to other brides. She has done some of my family and friends wedding dresses too, this is how I heard of her. You know she is great if she has been in business for 15 years!
I have taken dresses for various alterations and pants to be hemmed to Rozie for years, probably close to the 15 she has had the business. I have had multiple bridesmaids dresses a...
ltered by Rosie. From hems to cups and the sided taken in. She always does an excellent job and make sure the dress flatters the woman wearing it. I dropped off my bridal gown today and cannot wait to see the outcome!
We had a terrible experience here with my daughter's wedding dress. The lace on one side seam was puckered, which we should have noticed when we picked the dress up, but we didn't...
. We were too concerned about the fact that the bustle wasn't done. The assistant did a rush job on the bustle and I picked it up 30 min. later without looking at it.
We had to go to our original bridal shop to fix an issue that Rozi had pointed out (which ended up NOT to actually be an issue) and found out that the bustle was done, in my and the other seamstresses opinion, incorrectly. We were charged for 4 bustle points but only got 2.
All of the above, however, is not the reason for the one star. It's all about attitude. When I returned to the shop to pick up MY dress, I attempted to talk to Rozi about the problems with the wedding dress. She got very defensive and went on the offense, refusing to provide any compensation for the additional expense I had to go to to fix the problems. So I was out the $80 she charged for what she claimed was 4 bustle points. These loops were ugly..hanging off the back of the dress with no attempt to hide them. Rozi insisted I should have brought the dress back to her if there was a problem. I guess she forgot she went on vacation for 2 weeks the day after we picked it up, and was gone until just before the wedding. Bringing it back was simply not possible.
Rozi was defensive, then accused me of mistreating one of her employees. I had absolutely NO idea what she was talking about. I had only been in the shop twice before, and had had no issues with anyone. She refused to elaborate but continued to berate me until she had me in tears. She does not take criticism of her work or that of her assistant. The customer is definitely NOT always right at Rozi's.
This place might be fine for the occasional hem or something, but Brides, you can do much, much better. You should go elsewhere.
