Wendy did an incredible job. She is kind and passionate about what she does. I had two dresses that both needed quite a few alterations and she made my dream dresses better than I could have ever imagined. We worked together to get the best outcome and I was blown away at the speed of her work. I have been a bridesmaid a few times and I understand the importance of trusting someone to alter your dress and with Wendy I had no fear with my wedding dresses. Simply put, she's amazing!

I’ve gone to Wendy twice in the past for Bridesmaids dress alterations and she’s always been great! This time I needed my Wedding Dress altered and again, she did not disappoint. Wendy altered my wedding dress and a bridal shower dress and I could not be more happy with the results. She was flexible with scheduling and outlined her plan to finish the alterations with me. She was kind, friendly and professional. She did an absolutely beautiful job on both of my dresses you cannot tell she altered them even within very fine details. She is very particular in the best way and makes sure everything is how you want it. I am so happy with my dress and getting to wear it on my big day was a dream come true. She even had an appointment for my maid of honor to learn how to put up my bustle and she was so patient and such a good explainer. I would recommend Wendy to anyone who wants or needs alterations. She has extremely fair prices and over the top work. Lastly, she is an incredibly kind and warm lady who loves what she does.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Wendy and the work she did on my bridal gown. My gown had a lot of fine intricate lace/beading and needed a ton of alterations when I brought it to her. She planned out numerous fittings with me and worked on it piece by piece to make sure each thing she did fit perfectly and was exactly how I wanted it. She went above and beyond when it came to detail and quality work. I was absolutely blown away by how my gown turned out and will forever be grateful for her! 10/10 recommend, couldn’t be happier with my decision to go to her.

It was a pleasure to work with Wendy! I met Wendy when I was at an alterations appointment for my friend for her wedding dress. My friend had such a great experience with Wendy that I knew I would have her do my wedding dress. Wendy was professional, kind, and flexible. I had to change my initial alterations appointment a few times and she was able to accommodate me without any hesitation. Wendy did such a fantastic job on my wedding dress! I loved how detailed oriented she was and how she wants to make your dress look absolutely perfect. She spent extra time with my long train and bustle. She was also patient and thorough with her directions with my bridesmaids when explaining the bustle process. I never felt more beautiful! Thank you again Wendy!

Wendy is top notch! As a petite bride, I was nervous to have my dress altered, but Wendy put me at ease and guided me through the whole process. You would have never guessed that my dress was altered because she’s that talented. 10/10 recommend!

I bought my wedding dress of Facebook marketplace from a recent bride who didn't see the need to hang onto her dress. I had a consult with Wendy and returned for alterations, and she made my dress fit like it was designed specifically for me! I have uneven breasts and an asymmetric chest wall deformity that she did a great job hiding and offered options to further cover it up but I didn't feel I needed it after her alterations. Amazing job, highly recommend!

Wendy did an absolutely amazing job altering my wedding dress and I would highly recommend her to any future brides. My original dress was almost an entire size too big and way too long and I was very nervous about how it would fit on my wedding day. Wendy reassured me during the entire process and even worked in an extra fitting to calm my nerves. My final dress was even better than I imagined and fit me like a glove. Wendy's ample bridal experience truly sets her apart and she will do everything in her power to meet your needs!

Wendy is the BEST! She is a miracle worker and saved my dress! When you are a bride you are thrown into making a bunch of decisions you have never made before, and you will never have to make again. Lesson learned -- go to Wendy for alterations! I took my dress to different seamstress first, where she inserted bra cups and did the hem and bustle. I was not happy with the fact that she kept trying to talk me into having larger bra cups because it looked "sexier" -- what?! I am an A cup and was not trying to look like a C cup on my wedding day! Anyways, my mother and I found Wendy and had her look over my dress, she quickly addressed fixing the bust area. My mother then mentioned how she wasn't sure the bustle was done correctly either (I did not even know what a bustle was, let alone how it should be done). It was not! The way it was done would have completely ripped the lace as it was far too heavy for the few hooks it had to hang on. Wendy completely SAVED my dress! I went from being so anxious and unhappy with the way my dress looked on me to feeling like the dress was made for me after she was done! She is so incredibly sweet and talented. THANK YOU, WENDY!

The first seamstress I went to for simple alterations (or so I thought were simple) completely destroyed my dress. I was referred to Wendy by multiple people and I’m so glad I found her. She IMMEDIATELY spotted one of the biggest issues of why the dress did not fit or look the same and new exactly what to do to fix. She completely disassembled and reconstructed the bodice of my gown. She also fixed my skirt which was a difficult project on its own(the skirt was floor length ball gown style that I wanted tea length). Wendy is extremely informative on what and why she is doing certain things and honest with what can and cannot be done, But after what she was able to do with my dress disaster I find it hard to believe that there is much she can’t do. Wendy is an alterations genius and I will forever recommend and use her for any alterations I need.

Wendy was a LIFESAVER. I had a 7 layer ballgown for my wedding dress. I came to her from another tailor because I moved my wedding cross country. She did a better job and was much more reasonably priced. I think she is a dress whisperer... that being said, you should absolutely hire her.

Wendy is not only unbelievably sweet, but her work is PERFECT. When I came in, I had a strapless mermaid gown that was 4 sizes too big for me. She was able to take everything in, hem it perfectly, create a brand new bustle, add structure, etc. I was so nervous trying to find alterations for my wedding dress, and I cannot say enough wonderful things about her!

Wendy did a great job with my BHLDN wedding gown!! My initial dress was over 2 sizes too big, she was able to remove the chest boning, alter the waist and straps seamlessly. In addition, my train and hem were taken care of perfectly. Thanks again Wendy!

Wendy was very punctual and knows what she is doing. I thought my dress was perfect until she suggested adding a little detail and wow my dress became even more beautiful. She is trustworthy and affordable too.

WENDY WAS HEAVEN SENT! Cannot say enough about this woman. The bridal boutique I bought my dress from somehow ordered me a dress size too small. When I went in for my first fitting once the dress had came in I could barley get it over my butt and it would not zip (no I didn't gain any weight). Wendy after 3 fittings and driving back and forth to her house made my dress absolutely perfect. I wore a Martina Liana fit an flare. She needed to cut and fix just about every seam on my dress but you would have never known. She put so much time and effort into it and I cant express how appreciative I was to her. Definitely worth the drive and money!

Wendy did an amazing job on my alterations. Even adding in some extra items to help keep my strapless dress in place. She was easy to work with and very nice. Her prices were also very reasonable. She works out of her home which I liked because it felt more personal and not rushed. Because of this though she requests you only bring 2 (or 3?) people to your fittings.

Wow, so I bought my wedding dress sight unseen online from BHLDN (they had one left and I hit buy). I was in love with it to begin with but I am 5'2" and this beaded dress of 99% beads in a paisley pattern was made for Cindy Crawford. Unwilling to return the dress as I knew it was the one - found Wendy. And boy am I glad. Searching the knot and reading all the other rave reviews, I took a chance and called. Wendy is a very sweet woman and she listens and explains how, why and what which made me feel better. When I tried on the dress and pinned and tucked, I left without any sense of nerves or that it would not turn out. She pulled the shoulders so the waist met mine, she pulled in the sides so it fit me more like a glove and she hemmed the bottom by hand which deserves an Oscar for that feat alone. Thank you Wendy for making me feel like a princess - I can't wait for my husband to see - he keeps hearing from others that it looks amazing.

I cannot recommend Wendy more! Wendy installed 9 bustle points, added cups, and fixed a hole in the sleeve of my wedding gown. I won't lie I was extremely nervous to 1. leave my designer Galia Lahav gown with someone and 2. to allow someone to work on it. I've heard a number of wedding alteration horror stories. I did a lot of research and requested recommendations from many bridal boutiques in Tampa. Wendy's name came up again and again thus, I made the drive to Clearwater. Her work was WORTH the drive! You pay up front which again I was nervous about however, she does NOT let you leave without being completely satisfied! My first appointment we tried on the dress and looked at what needed to be done, I paid and agreed on a pickup date. When I returned to pick the dress up she had me try on my dress again to see if everything was perfect. Wendy combed over her work and decided a bustle loop should be moved a couple of millimeters. She fixed it right then and there! She also hand sewed a hole in my delicate mesh sleeve in order to repair it. You can’t even tell were her work begins and ends. Her attention to detail is impressive. When I took my dress home and showed my mother her work, she agreed Wendy has great talent and skill! Wendy always made me feel comfortable. She is kind, patient, organized and not to mention amazing at her craft. She took time to show me how the dress should be bustled and even helped me decide on which earrings paired best with my gown. If you would like your dress to be handled by a caring expert bring it to Wendy. Her work exceeded my expectations and cost next to nothing.

Wendy went truly above and beyond. I purchased a dress online and it was a completely botched job. The company helped me find Wendy and she turned it into a fabulous, beautiful dress that fit perfectly in about 10 days. It was truly miraculous and I am incredibly thankful for her amazing work and attention to detail! She even hand-delivered the dress to my office! Thank you Wendy :)

Words can not even describe how incredibly talented Wendy is. My dress was COVERED with beading and had to be taken down 3 sizes. First of all, her pricing was the best around. Her work was worth more then what she charged. I could not have been happier with the outcome f my gown.

I bought 2 couture wedding dresses that are both very expensive and cost thousands of dollars each dress. I wanted to see if I could save money on the alterations and find a budget friendly, good quality seamstress who could do the alterations for my wedding dress because all the wedding dress boutiques are super expensive and charge $400 or more just for hemming so I found Wendy on weddingwire.com and read all the reviews she received and noticed she won multiple wedding wire awards and her work seemed pretty impressive. I was nervous and very worried to leave my expensive dress with just any seamstress but she really put me at ease when she showed me what she would do with my dress and how. She had to hem my dress which is no easy task because I have like 5 layers of material and very intricate lace, she had to pull in the bodice, pull in the hips and alot of other things that needed to be done and she did everything perfectly and she saved me hundreds of dollars! Her prices are unbeatable and her work is exceptional! I am going back to her with my second wedding dress for my second wedding. I highly recommend her! She is trust worthy, offers amazing prices, service is excellent, and quality of her work is top notch. Why spend hundreds of dollars at over priced wedding dress boutiques? Wendy is awesome! I had a Hayley Paige gown with probably a million layers that we had to bustle up and she did it flawlessly! Shes also really great to work with. For my last fitting, my mother-in-law was going to come into town to go with me and watch how to bustle the dress so we would know how to do it the day of the wedding.... Well long story short, her flight here was cancelled and Wendy was totally flexible and was able to reschedule the fitting for when my mother-in-law could get into town. Super super sweet woman! I would recommend her to anyone!

Wendy altered my Watters wedding gown for my upcoming wedding in January and she was wonderful. Not only does she listen to your concerns, she executes your alterations beautifully. I had my hem, straps removed, and cups sewn in and it was no small feat. My dress has a long train and was made up of five layers of material. She also did my bustle, and when I thought the buttons we chose the first time were a bit too obvious, she went back with no complaints and replaced it with hooks instead. Her work is gorgeous, her prices are very fair and competitive. I will always bring any alterations I will have in the future to her!

Highly recommend Wendy for alterations. Not only did she did my complex hayley paige dress but also one of my bridesmaid's dress. Reasonably prices and knows exact what she's doing.

If you live in Clearwater, or the surrounding area, I would highly recommend using Wendy as your wedding or bridesmaid dress seamstress. Her prices are unbeatable and her skills are unmatched. She is highly knowledgeable in her field and offers excellent recommendations on undergarments, accessories, etc. I am very petite, but curvy, and Wendy knew all the right things to make my dress fit just perfectly. And my bustle turned out beautifully! She also hemmed my mother's dress and made a few other adjustments making my mother's dress fit like a glove! I am going to be a bridesmaid in another upcoming wedding and I already have my hem appointment set!

Wendy was excellent. She created just what I was looking for for my wedding dress. I needed to create a sweetheart neckline, add a bustle and take the dress in at the hips. Her prices are very reasonable and I saved a lot of money going to her instead of David's Bridal. I will be taking some work pants to her to be altered soon!

Wendy was absolutely amazing and I couldn't have had my dream dress if it wasn't for her help! She was able to convert my dress to a corset back from a zipper and did it flawlessly. Would definitely recommend her for all your alterations!

Wendy did a beautiful job on the alterations to my wedding dress. I asked her to add straps, a bustle, and shorten the hem on my dress. She had to remove the scalloped lace on the bottom of my dress to shorten it, and when she was done, you couldn't tell it had been altered. Her prices are very reasonable. If I need other alterations, I won't hesitate to call her.

WENDY WAS AMAZING! She exceeded my expectations not only with her service but with her advice as well. For the LESS than the price I would have had just ONE of my bridesmaid's dresses hemmed at David's Bridal, she not only did two of them but ALSO hemmed a pair dress slacks for the rehearsal dinner as well! I wish I would have had her do my wedding dress, it would have saved me over $100 but I never found her until after my final fitting for my dress. But she did teach me the difference between an over bustle and an under bustle just to find out that David's Bridal was overcharging me and I was due a refund from them. BUT MORE IMPORTANTLY, HER WORK IS FLAWLESS! She is very busy though, so call her in advance to schedule an appointment otherwise you may not get her! Wendy did the alterations on my wedding dress. She did an amazing job. She was a pleasure to work with and did high quality work. Her rates are amazing as she does the alterations from her home so she can give you a better deal than the bigger corporate places without sparing on quality. I highly recommend Wendy.
