the suggestions they made of taking specific areas of my dress in. However, when it came to hemming and my bustle I was not pleased. On the first date I went to pick my dress up we looked at my hem and it was cut unevenly (with a 2in difference from the right versus left side of my dress). They were reluctant to take a second look and re-hem my dress (telling me it was not uneven despite the fact that my mom & I could both see the difference after analyzing the hem more closely), but after my insistence I was happy with the second round of hemming and they admitted there was a difference in the hem length. My bustle however was my most disappointing alteration- it was a 3 point bustle and looked nice. However on my wedding day, the first time I sat in my dress to take photos (no scooting or anything just simply sat down) my entire bustle button popped right off my dress! Thankfully we had a needle and thread on hand and were able to sew the button back on. I'm definitely disappointed in the quality of the materials and work on my bustle and was not happy to have to use our own sewing skills to fix the problem!

hen I was reluctant to leave my dream gown with them because it was clear they were clueless, they decided to charge a fitting fee. Nothing was said or posted about this prior. Then they proceeded to rip out the 4 safety pins damaging the lace. They proceeded to talk in Spanish ( not knowing I was fluent) and insulted my intelligence. I had waited 20 mins for the fitting and 3 customers came and went with the same disappointment in their service. One had spent $120 getting a duvet repaired only to have the seam let go the first time it was used. They wanted $150 to repair and said there was no guarantee on their work?? Total lack of customer service, under handed fees, and lack of common courtesy. Run away from this place.

or me. I added a French bustle with 5 ties to my long train, had some wear and tear spots fixed, took in several inches on each side of the bodice, and had a few designs removed from the bodice. I also had the dress cleaned. I felt like the price was slightly less than I expected based on online research (maybe $50 less) and the work done was excellent. Everyone loved the dress and the alterations made it fit me beautifully! Plus this was all done in 3 weeks, with no rush put on the order. I recommend Alterations Inc. whole-heartedly!
