I know that we were already able to apologize to you on the phone as well for having you leave your experience with us as anything short of amazing. I know we tried our best to encourage support options for this gown during your fittings as this gown did lack proper structure to fully support a breast on its own. It is also a little tricky to make sure the gown is placed on the body correctly so as to want to hug the breast properly. We know these styles are beautiful and very popular so we truly try our best to give support and offer advice for these situations! We did hear your concerns at the final fitting and wanted to make sure to properly address them and make minor adjustments with you. After taking the time to address all of your concerns at the final fitting we left with what we believed to be a well fitting gown. We do pride ourself on having a full team that is able to efficiently and effectively fix minor alterations at a final fitting to better serve our brides. We still QC and check everything that is done during these fittings and ensure all work is sent out at a high quality service. We hope this service makes our brides experience less stressful and easier, but we apologize for falling short with your expectations. After reviewing our photos from that fitting the gown also fits and hugs the breast when seated properly. So we genuinely sent you out for your wedding day in what we believed and still believe was a properly fitted gown. (The knot does not allow us to provide our photos for a point of reference). We sincerely apologize that it was not able to be put on accordingly the day of. This is something we will review and strive to be better at explaining with future brides. service is a very difficult business to be in. It is also one we take very seriously. So to say we are disappointed that this is the experience you feel you had with us is an understatement. We knew from the beginning when you brought your gown in requesting custom changes you had some hesitations. We knew the under taking of this project was a large one, that would be made a little more difficult by altering the off the rack size to a petite size, as well as modifying the slit, customizing the neckline for your petite frame, reworking the train to suit your specified wants and needs and making a custom veil. At your first fitting we did go over everything and extended your appointment to an hour from the scheduled 30 minutes booked. At the end of your first fitting, upon becoming aware you still had concerns we did offer for you to just pay the consultation fee (which is listed in all of our prep paperwork) before moving forward. We do charge a consultation fee of $100, solely based on the time we take to invest in giving you a proper appointment prior to agreeing to becoming a client. We apologize if this intimidated you, we truly try to make sure everyone is well aware of our process before stepping into our store. We strive to be very transparent with our pricing and process from the very beginning. As under garments go, we do offer what is available on the market that suits wedding gowns. We worked with you to size what we thought was an appropriate choice for your gown. We thought we had satisfied your needs with this choice and are disappointed to find out you felt otherwise. As a note, revealing gowns have less choices for under garments. But, we do try to keep a modified inventory of the newest and best options available. We do know the second fitting can be very intimidating. That is why we try to prepare our brides beforehand via in person at the first fitting and in emails leading up to the appointment. Again, we strive to be fully transparent about everything. That includes coming to a second fitting when the gown is in a deconstructive state. Our philosophy is that the bride should be apart of the decision making on her most important gown, in the drivers seat the whole process. This is not something that suits everyone and can be overwhelming. But, it is something we believe in and try to make fun for all of our clients. After extending your second appointment to an hour and a half, just as we did with the first one, we knew you were still concerned and wary about the changes. This is when we proposed a RE-2nd fitting for you to be able to see a little more work done to the gown and hopefully soothe your worries about the fit. It is also very common for off the rack gowns & gowns with custom work to need this fitting. Especially when the bride is uncertain about the changes she is making to the gown, but we were happy to accommodate at no additional charge so that you would hopefully have a better experience and fit! At the original final fitting we did have a bustle finished on the gown, but you decided you would rather have the other type of bustle and you were also hoping to have the slit adjusted to be even higher than originally discussed. Additionally, we brought you the custom veil made in house and you were disappointed in the length. Originally cut to 100” after seeing it you hoped it would be shorter. We do cut and make all of our veils in house, so we were able to provide other options and recut your veil at that moment. We are saddened to hear you assumed we had given you someone else’s veil. We can assure you that the veil you saw was custom made to you. Again, even though we had completed the requested changes at the final fitting, we are always happy to make further adjustments when needed. Since you were wanting to make some additional changes we did schedule another final, again free of charge and we were very hopeful that we were giving you everything you had wanted. From the very beginning your happiness and experience was our number one priority, we are devastated that we missed the mark on this. We truly had hoped that through every “extra” we provided throughout the process we were enhancing your experience and making what we know can be a very stressful time, just a little bit easier for you. As a small business, we are very invested in our brides and truly are passionate about our work.
