I was very impressed with the photography. I did not have a ton of requests- the ones I did he made sure that he got to. I wish looking back I had requested more that I definitely wanted- but I thought I would be directed a bit more than I was. I would highly recommend, I would just suggest to have the ideas that you definitely want and make sure to give it to them before hand and they will make sure you get those shots.

It rained on my wedding day, and even though it was cold and wet we still got some AWESOME photos. Thanks so much! Also as part of our package we really got a lot. We got engagment pictures, a photographer and assistant, a DVD with the rights to all my pictures, and a free slide show of all the wedding pictures taken while we were at the reception.

Rick of Alterimage Photography is amazing. He is easy to work with and open to doing certain poses we wanted. The pictures came out wonderfully and the slide show he puts up during the reception was great. My guests loved seeing the photos from the ceremony and our professional pictures right away.

Jim and his wife photographed our wedding. They were great to work with. They were very quick to pose us or tell us what they wanted us to do. His wife even made up a little booklet of all my must haves to make sure they got to them all. He was very good about going with the flow and got some great shots. He arrived at the hotel around 11 and stayed until the end of the reception. He even told us he wished we would get married every weekend he loved our wedding party.

AlterImage did a beautiful job! Rick took a TON amazing photos the entire night. Only thing to mention is he was a little reluctant to go against his standard shots, and didn't always take our suggestions without making us feel like we were being difficult. But he puts up a ton of photos immediately and all are available online! I'd recommend him!

Rick, who is the owner of the company, was my photographer. He came with an assistant two hours before the ceremony and I really have no complaints. They were nice, professional, and got over 2000 images without getting in the way. The package I got came with no prints but a copyright release so I own all the images and can print them myself for cheaper. We didn't want to spend too much time on posed photos so he made the most of the time he had and also got a ton of great candids. The instant digital slideshow at the reception was a big hit.

I booked my photographer by looking online because I lived out of state. I talked to Dava on the phone and I found her easy to communicate with and very upfront with what her packages are. I was a little nervous the day of the wedding because I had never met the photographer but I had nothing to worry about. Our photos turned out great and there were lots of shots I would have never have thought about taking that turned out very nice. We were very satisfied with this company!

I booked Alter Image because I loved the pictures on the website, I was looking for more of the photo-journalistic style then the traditional style. I have not gotten my pictures yet but I am nervous that I am going to be disappointed in them. The photographer I had, his wife was his assistant and they were very very nice people, but I felt as if they were asking me too many questions when they should have been advising. I never had been married so I had no clue what type of pictures I needed/wanted, obviously I had a lot on my mind as it was a big day and being asked about all the shots kind of frustrated me and in the end I don't think there were enough pictures taken for the price I had to pay. I spent a lot more on the photographer than I had planned, but I am hoping in the end it will be worth it. A huge plus was that they did a slide show at the reception for guests to view, downside was the photographer spent time during the reception uploading it instead of taking more pictures, I felt his assistant should have been doing that and as a result a lot of pictures were missed. Another issue was that my venue is a 15 minute drive from Syracuse and they charged me for having to drive there, I thought that was a little ridiculous. They did however arrive on time and spent nearly 12 hours from getting ready to the end of the reception.

Their style is incredibly unique. Photojournalist meets traditional. And I wouldn't have had my wedding photos any other way. They were very professional and the photo slideshow during the reception was the perfect added touch to my wedding day. HIGHLY recommend them.
