collaborated with from time to time. For our amazing luck, Vanessa had JUST ventured out and started her own company and we hear about her through another vendor by happy chance. Knowing she worked with that company—and reading all the reviews from that bakery that named Vanessa by name—I knew she was going to be very talented!
From the tasting, to the big day, Vanessa was helpful and caring, and her skills in baking are unparalleled. She was a joy to work with for so many reasons. She knew it was important for us to keep cultural elements in our wedding and weave them into her design, which she did successfully, beautifully, and seamlessly.
Our guests are still telling us how they have never seen a sweets table like the one Vanessa design. It looked like treasure!
As for her cakes and pastries—OMG! DELICIOUS! Everyone was raving!! (FYI We currently have our top tier frozen for our 1st anniversary, and we are looking forward to this tradition bc of just how yummy everything was!).

he assured me the cake would be the vision I had dreamed of. Throughout the entire process, Vanessa offered suggestions such as our cake topper to make sure it fit the look I wanted & was extremely easy to work with! When I saw my wedding cake on the day of the wedding, I instantly ran to my photographer to make sure they took tons of pictures & looked for my husband to tell him how perfect it looked! They had put my precise vision into something absolutely perfect! I should also mention besides the design it was absolutely delicious! My friends are still telling me how awesome my cake is. I would HIGHLY recommend Altissima cake for an incredible wedding or special occasion cake!
