Alton Richardson is a Wedding and Elopement photographer based out of Boulder and Northern Colorado. I specialize in both modern and traditional weddings as well as adventurous elopements.
Storytelling is a necessity for me and is first and foremost in my process. I strive to capture natural, intimate moments while delivering signature masterpiece work at the highest possible level.
I take a mostly documentary approach to my photography while adding a modern creative flair when it makes sense. I don't just capture the big events but try to find the quiet moments that happen throughout the day as well. I prefer to prompt rather than pose, providing opportunities for couples to interact naturally and organically. With a heavy focus on natural light, I'm constantly playing with the sun and shadows, finding something unique and extraordinary within the ordinary.
My images can be bold and epic yet intimate and artistic.
