Edward and Alma are soooo AMAZINGGG!!! They were so easy to work with before hand with all our appts. They are so professional and we actually really enjoyed working with them. We hired Alma for our day of coordinator and I definitely couldn't have done it without her, Lifesaver!!! Edward did great with our photo booth, the guests loved it and had a great time! DJ was awesome, they played everything I wanted and more and always had the guests dancing! The uplighting was so gorgeous even though I didn't think I needed it, get it! It's so worth it! I am recommending them to my cousin who cant wait to use them for her wedding. I highly recommend Alusstra Events for your next wedding!

Edward and Alma are one of the best in San Antonio. From start to finish of our wedding was a success. They helped us out with the ceremony music, cocktail, dinner and dance! Everything was amazing! I'd recommend them 100%

Well..... The Dj did a great job at the reception. He kept the tempo going and even would take our guest requests. My only reservation and why I would not recommend this company is the before hand stuff. We had set-up three different appointment to go over details. The first appointment I guess they just forgot. After sitting outside for 30 min I called and they were not even in town! Second time they called me 10 min before our appointment (which I was already half way there) to reschedule... The third time I called them 4 times before I was able to get someone on the phone to let me know they would make it but they would be 30 min late... For a very busy bride this was toooooo much! On that note the reception was great we also did the photo booth and the guest had so much fun! Just beware of the poor communication before hand!

Both Eddie and Alma were amazing to work with! Our meetings were always productive and never felt rushed. We played with so many ideas and added/removed things up to the last minute. I never felt pushed into anything I didn't want, they were good at giving multiple options. Eddie will go above and beyond to make your day special, and Alma's creativity and organization makes them have a fantastic team. They provided amazing up lighting, fog machine, and confetti machine that was perfectly coordinated at the times we wanted them. They were very professional and worked well with other vendors. I also must mention, they kept everyone dancing until the end!! :D Thank you Alma and Eddie for making our day perfect and special!

Alusstra events did a great job with music, beautiful lighting, and photobooth. Our guests danced the night away, the DJ played all music we had on our playlist, and took reasonable requests from the guests. The only hiccup was that we had pin lights included in our package that were not there on the day of the wedding, so the wedding cake didn't really stand out like we had hoped. Other than that, they were incredibly reasonable as far as pricing and options. Alma and Edward were very kind and available to answer questions and made us feel like our DJ would not be a worry. Would recommend to other brides looking for all inclusive DJ packages!

Our wedding was set for March 8, 2015 and we had many setbacks getting a DJ until my husband contacted Allustra. Alma and her husband (owners) were quick and ready to work with us even with such short time before the event. Not only that, but they came out to our venue to work out a way to meet our sound system needs outdoors next to a waterfall! They were so attentive and kind in making our wedding day run smoothly and stress free. We truly thank them from the bottom of our hearts for their time and commitment to excellent service. We would recommend them to anyone without a doubt.

Alusstra was great. Our family danced all night long. They have a large variety of music, that pleased both sides of the families and the friends. The uplighting and photobooth services were also great. My venue looked very elegant and romantic once they were done setting up everything. The photobooth was large enough for my entire bridal party to be in. Yay. The ceremony music was every song that I wanted. In all Alusstra Events was the best value overall for all the services I signed up for. Their people are very professional in how they handle everything from the venue walk through to the finalization of details.

Edward and Alma were AMAZING at helping me coordinate my wedding. I can't stop saying enough good things about them. The owners were very sweet, professional, and the music they played was awesome. They really listen to you and make sure they play the music you want. They are very Affordable and are available 24/7 if I had a question and I loved that because when I was bugging out they really were able to calm my nerves. Planning a wedding is very stressful but when you hire the right people it makes it a lot less stressful. Thanks you Alma and Edward y'all were AWESOME!

This is a response to the last review . I am the mother of the Bride and I told the dj not to play any of that RAP music that is VULGAR (bad words) why because I paid for the dj . I told my daughter , do not ask the dj to play any of that kind of music because of family and friends that will attend the wedding. The dj was SUPER kind , nice to all my family , and kept them dancing all night long. what a good person , I was absolutely heart broken when he called and told my what my daughter has done. PLEASE take it from me and all of these positive reviews , Alusstra Events Djs are the BEST you can Get.

We would not recommend this company. The DJ did a good job during our ceremony, however, they did not play several songs we requested or the type of music we had agreed upon for during the reception. They were also very condescending and arrogant in their belief that they knew best. They were insistent that they knew what our guests wanted and deviated from the type of music we wanted played. The DJ was also very hard to understand during announcements.

I was nervous about how the wedding reception would "flow" and whether the guests would be entertained, but Allustra was able to provide great emcee services and keep everyone on the dance floor. They also provided beautiful uplighting effects that brought the look and feel of my wedding to a whole other level of modern! The photo booth was a hit at my wedding my guest had so much fun with it! So much props. I'm really glad I got it i love going over the pictures my family and friends took! Good memories I can keep forever! Allustra events rocks!

Eddie was the most passionate person I have ever met. He truly loves and enjoys what he does, and that is the reason why we chose Allustra for our wedding. He really goes out of his way to make sure the bride and groom have a great experience. I also had Alma has my 'day of event coordinator' for the reception site, and I honestly could not have done it without her. She was so helpful, even days prior to the event. Alma knew all my vendors and was obviously good at what she does. My wedding was behind schedule due to a family situation at the ceremony, and as I got to the reception site, Alma was on top of everything and got every part of the reception done in an organized way. People did not even notice we were behind schedule. It was stressful to think we were behind, but Alma kept me calm and reminded me to have a good time. My family loved the music and they danced the night away. Allustra knew exactly how to read my family and knew what music to play to keep them dancing. I highly recommend them. I used Allustra Events for my wedding. I met with them several times before the big day. I shared any concerns I may have had regarding lighting and music and they took care of everything. They are great people and made the evening a success. I liked the pace they stayed on for the evening as well.

Alma & Edward are so great to work with. They were very repsonsive to all of my emails. The dj that worked our reception was amazing! They provided uplighting and monogramming for us as well and it added the perfect touch to the reception. Alma goes over a music request sheet you turn in to her before the wedding and passes it along to the dj who will be working your event. Our dj played music from the request sheet and kept the floor packed! All I wanted was music that would keep folks dancing and having a great time and the dj delivered! We danced until the last song was played and still wanted to keep the party going. Great value, great service, great time. You will not go wrong with Allustra!!!!

Everyone had a blast with the selection of music. Professional and fun! A bit expensive but worth it!!!

At the last minute our first DJ canceled on us. Alma, Eddie and Jason came to or rescue and saved the day. They listened to what songs we wanted and quickly put together a playlist that we loved. Everything went smooth as if we had been discussing the itinerary with them for months. I would recommend this DJ in a heartbeat.

We used them to DJ our reception and for lighting. Lighting included uplights, a monogram (that they created) and a pattern on the ceiling. I was apprehensive about going w/ them at first because it took a few attempts to get in contact with them and there was miscommunication about the date of our first meeting. Keeping track of our questions/decisions via email after that helped. They ask detailed questions to make sure everything is the way you want it and make time to meet with you as often as you want (even at the venue). Alma especially works really hard to try to make sure everything looks good and that you enjoy your night. Allustra was definitely the best quality for what we paid.

Loved the music and the uplighting! Works with every budget and they help the whole wedding run smooth for the entire time they are there. The slide show and chice of songs were great! I would book again!!

We found Allustra at a wedding fair. They had an unbelievable price for DJ, up lighting, and floor monogram lighting. The owners were professional leading up to the wedding. They went to my venue prior to our wedding to ensure the lighting was perfect. They were well prepared with the wedding day preparations. However, we did not get Eddie or Alma as our DJ. We were very disappointed with the DJ. He stopped playing 45 minutes before the wedding ended. He did not play all of our music selection. I asked for Tejano music and he played the Macarena. PLEASE!! He had our toast too soon and our wedding planner and caterer were not prepared. This was even after he was given a minute by minute timeline. He announced our wedding party wrong. All of a sudden my mother in law was married to her brother. He announced all of our names wrong. It was a mess.

Alusstra Events did the djing and lighting for my wedding. They were amazing for the price we paid. The music had everyone dancing and the lighting created that much more of a mood. Eddie and Alma were always very much available for any sort of questions and helped out in so many ways. :)

The atmosphere from the lighting made the room grand! The family loved the music selection! They did an amazing job with keeping the night flowing! I was very pleased with them! I would recommend them everytime!

Edward was just a joy to work with. He has such a charasmatic pesonality and will work with you to make your day special. His husband and wife team are so professional and accomodating, you will definitely want to book them for sure. We used both their DJ and lighting services and danced the night away at our event with a spectacular laser light show! I Highy recommend them.
