Planning a wedding is crazy, am I right?! I want to help you in the one way I know how, photographing your LOVE. Aly Barnett started as an assistant in 2010. Since then, I have graduated with my degree from Savannah College of Art and Design, and have fallen MORE in love with photographing people. Especially people in love!! I believe you need those moments captured, printed, and shared for the next 100 years. My favorite part of my job is meeting my amazing couples, and seeing them get married! Yes, I might even shed a few tears just like your best friend!

hat we wanted documented to life, and made the day feel incredibly special. She has a great personality and helped keep us relaxed and made sure we had fun. It was easy taking photos with her specifically because of the energy she brings. Her team did more than take photos, she helped coordinate with our day-of coordinator and keep us on schedule. I hired Aly to do my 2023 New Years Eve wedding. We got on our 2nd call together and let her know that there was going to be around 90 people at the ceremony. On the call she said ...
that we signed a “small wedding contract” and that anything over 30 people was a breach of contract and that she would have to reprice the contract based on the headcount. She said multiple times over Google meet that the price would not be doubled so I felt reassured. She sends us the new pricing and the pricing was doubled. We got on another call and she wasn’t willing to work with us at all. There was no where in the contract that stated that we signed a small wedding package or that the contract would be breached if we had more than 30 people. I let her know that as far as I was concerned she was the one who breached our original contract by doubling the price. I did not breach any contract because the contract does not state that our agreement was for a small wedding package anywhere. Additionally, the first contract is voidable because there was no meeting of the minds. We were clearly both on different pages therefore it’s not valid.
I’ve spoken to multiple photographers since this has happened and I’ve received feedback that it was completely unethical to double the pricing after a contract has already been signed. It is also unethical and unreasonable for her to keep our deposit because of her multiple miscommunications. She would not budge. She left me with no photographer 4 months before my wedding and kept my ~$1300 deposit. I would not recommend hiring her.
