I had KC as my makeup artist and Erika as my hairstylist. KC really took the time to get to know me and my skincare routine during my trial in order to ensure she was using the right products. My makeup did not budge!! && I cried a lot! Erika took the feedback I gave after my trial (just had a lot of frizz) and made the necessary improvements to ensure my hair looked perfect. I received so many compliments. I felt confident and beautiful! 

Aly Rose Beauty did an excellent job on myself and my bridesmaids hair and makeup. I was truly impressed with their attention to detail. Everyone in my bridal party loved their hair and makeup. Our artists did a great job of creating different but coordinating looks for everyone. I was extremely impressed with how well my hair turned out as I have very curly hair that is often hard to work with and it was exactly how I imagined it. I would recommend this vendor to anyone looking for a hair and makeup artist for their event.

I had the pleasure of getting my hair and makeup done more than once by Aly Rose Beauty’s team members. Every artist that I encountered made me feel like the best version of myself and listened to my wants for the desired looks. One thing that really stood out to me was one the members did my hair first thing in the morning at 7:30. Later on in the day after touch ups were done, she came to me and fixed the style so well I didn’t even realize it could get any better!!! Absolutely AMAZING!!! Aly Rose Beauty did my daughter’s and her bridal party’s hair and makeup. The team was professional and friendly. They were able to meet everyone’s different hair and makeup requests from young to older, from neutral looks to full glam. Hair and make up kept all day and I started at 8am and ended at 10pm. I can’t say enough. They really made the experience special. Everyone looked exceptional. I will definitely be using them again.

As mother of the bride I expected much better make up. It was not worth the fee paid nor the time wasted. Im glad there was an actual make up artist attending the wedding who came to my rescue and re-did it. Very disappointed.

I don’t leave negative reviews lightly, but my experience with Aly Rose Beauty was truly disappointing and added unnecessary stress to my wedding day. From the beginning, communication with Aly and her team was frustratingly slow and disorganized. We booked services for six individuals, submitted all our inspiration photos over eight months in advance, and still, only one makeup artist and one hairstylist were provided. This caused major delays and left several of my bridesmaids feeling rushed and dissatisfied. Even more upsetting — before anyone even sat in a chair, the artists told us they wouldn’t have time to do the looks we requested. These were looks they had months to review and prepare for. Had I known they wouldn’t be able to deliver what we clearly communicated, I never would have hired them. Several of my bridesmaids were unhappy with their results, and one even opted to redo her own hair and makeup. When I asked for a partial refund for the girls who didn’t receive the services as agreed, I was flatly denied. The response from their management was unprofessional and dismissive. To make matters worse, the team tried to shift blame by claiming the hair and makeup space wasn’t ready — which simply isn’t true. They arrived late and failed to account for their own setup time, then attempted to gaslight us about it. This experience was incredibly disappointing, especially for a vendor that plays such a key role on one of the most important days of your life. I’ll be sharing this review across platforms and warning others in the San Diego wedding community. If you’re looking for reliable, professional, and accountable hair and makeup artists — I do not recommend Aly Rose Beauty.

I was so lucky to have the Aly Rose team as part of our special day. Phoebe and Kelsey were such a joy to work with during my trial and fully understood the vision I had for hair and makeup. It also made things so much easier working with a whole team because we were able to have two makeup artists and two hair stylists on the morning of our wedding which was super helpful with our timeline. Everyone was super happy with how their hair and makeup turned out and I will be recommending them to everyone!

So for my cousins wedding I requested my hair to be done. I have very textured curly wild fluffy hair but Erika did SUCH an amazing job on my hair! It was actually shook. It is so hard to maintain my hair and get it to sit all during the night through the dancing and humidity, so I dunno what magical powers Erika had but my hair stayed PUT throughout the night. She added my extensions in perfectly not a track in sight. I was very very happy with how it turned out THANK YOU ALY

Aly and her team were incredible to work with and did a fantastic job on hair and makeup for my wedding day!! So easy to communicate with and made me feel heard. I had the pleasure of Aly Rose and her team for my hair and makeup for a shoot and WOW. I have never felt more beautiful and confident. Aly immediately made me feel amazing and asked various questions to make sure I had the best experience and got the look I wanted. She is so kind, professional, and easy to work with. My hair and makeup turned out beautiful and I felt like a movie star. I cannot wait to receive the pictures from the shoot! If you are looking for a true beauty master, ALY ROSE is the one!

Overall, I had a good experience working with Aly Rose Beauty. For future brides, note that there are A LOT of makeup and hair artists working for this company and you don't necessarily have control over which artist you're booking with. I didn't know who my HMUA was until the trial and her portfolio wasn't shared with me so I had zero clue what her style was. If this is something you care about, I would suggest asking prior to booking for the name of your HMUA + pictures of their work. There were a few hiccups with my trial and communication/ organization leading up to the wedding but the team fixed the issues and the day of the wedding went smoothly. I was supposed to have a new HMUA after my trial and that didn't happen, but luckily it all worked out and they were kind enough to add on a second HMUA to help speed things along the day of my wedding. In the end, everything worked out fine and our group was happy with our hair and makeup.

Aly Rose was a dream. I enjoyed their professionalism and their work. I'm African American and my ladies and I range lightest shade to the darkest shade and everyone of us looked beautiful. They also styled my hair and it turned out amazing. I felt beautiful all day. Thank you Aly and your team.

Aly Rose Beauty Team was a dream come true.! Being a makeup artist myself I was extremely particular with choosing a team, and Aly Rose Beauty surpassed my expectations. She was so understanding with my pickiness and particular taste for makeup and hair services. Their professionalism, spirit, enthusiasm, and talent made my most important day of my life become a dream come true. I had 19 services total for the artists and they stayed on schedule and made all my ladies STUNNING. They are by far the best beauty team I've ever experienced, and would highly recommend them.
