My goal is to build a relationship with my couples, to put them at ease in front of my camera, to have fun during their engagement session and especially on their wedding day. I want every image to reflect how in love you are, to be cherished for years to come. My style of photography is bright, vibrant with a lifestyle look. ourse there was "ask my dad for permission" and "make sure the people I love are present", but there was also, "make sure the proposal is photographed". My husband, Adam, worked out all the details with Alyona in order to capture the proposal on Shem Creek at sunset. The photos were absolutely stunning! After seeing them, we knew we would only trust Alyona to do our engagement and wedding photos. Alyona always went out of her way to ensure every detail was taken care of. She even arrived early to our shoots to find the locations with the best lighting and backdrop. She made Adam and I feel comfortable and at ease during the sessions. The photos reflected that authenticity. My favorite part of Alyona's photography is her ability to capture pure joy. We will forever be in Alyona's debt because of the priceless memories she helped to preserve, especially the special moments at our wedding. Anyone who hires Alyona will receive more than their money's worth. She has our highest recommendation.

It did take a little over two months to get our wedding pictures back, but it was during the busy spring season in Charleston so we were understanding. All of the pictures are perfect and she captured so many wonderful parts of the day that we got to relive when looking through them! I also highly recommend having the second shooter option as he was able to capture shots during the ceremony that wouldn't have happened otherwise. I highly recommend Alyona Photography!

in Seattle, so we were just expecting to meet Alyona on the day of our wedding in Charleston. But she asked to setup a time to speak with us over the phone so she could get to know us. Not only that, but she also came out to Isle of Palms to meet with us in person the day before the wedding to go over ideas and ask if we had any special requests. It meant a lot to us that she was so sincere in wanting to get to know us and what was important to us. Right off the bat, it was clear that Alyona really cared about getting it right. We told her that we really just wanted to capture the feel of Charleston and its special charm. She took us and the bridal party to some awesome spots downtown that were exactly what we were looking for. When she was shooting, she was so easygoing and fun that it kept us relaxed and really allowed us to enjoy the moment. It all just felt natural. The very next day after the wedding, Alyona sent us a sneak peak at the pics. We were blown away at how well everything came out! It was exactly how we wanted our photos to look - capturing the city, our love, and our friends. My wife was nearly in tears as she couldn't stop looking at them. We just feel so blessed to have been able to work with Alyona! She makes you feel as if you've known her for some time. As you can probably tell, we can't say enough good things about her.
