It's easy to get lost in the details of wedding planning, so we are so grateful to have worked with Alyson to make our ceremony so beautiful. We received many compliments from our guests, and it really set the tone for the rest of the day!

ceremony rather than working from a standard script. We met with Alyson a handful of times leading up to our wedding day, and she made it so easy to curate a ceremony that reflected who we are and our relationship to each other. She really went above and beyond to make it special!

ony feel warm, personal, and memorable. We opted for the Love Story addition and I highly recommend it! It was a fun exercise for my husband and I to complete. It brought us closer as a couple and gave our ceremony the special touch we were looking for. Even our guests raved about how great Alyson was. Would absolutely recommend working with her!

ally cares about getting to know the couples that she works with. She was so easy to talk to and open up to from day one. We worked together on the ceremony script over the next few months and she was always so quick to incorporate any changes we wanted or add any details that we wanted. She worked so hard to tailor our ceremony to meet our personalities. And our ceremony was absolutely perfect because of her! My husband and I are both pretty silly people and she was perfectly able to incorporate a mixture of moments that made us and our families laugh and heartfelt moments that made our families tear up. We were complimented on our ceremony for days following the wedding and many of our family and friends asked if Alyson was a family friend of ours since she seemed to know our personalities and story so well. We chose the ceremony package that incorporates a telling of our love story and she really took the time to get to know who we are and what makes our journey to our marriage unique to us. I highly recommend adding the love story to the ceremony because she executed it perfectly! I cannot recommend her enough for a perfect and memorable ceremony.
Alyson was amazing! We met over coffee where we talked for a couple hours. She learned our story and who we were as individuals and a couple. She turned that meeting into a persona...
lized ceremony that garnered laughs and tears. Afterward multiple people asked me how long Alyson has known us because it was such a personal ceremony. She was a professional who knows how to keep a wedding on track and kept me at ease during the rehearsal as well as the wedding day. Alyson offers all types of ceremonies and was comfortable giving us a Catholic based ceremony that still didn't feel like the inside of a church. Highly recommend Alyson if you want a professional who feels like a friend marrying you!

k to me and answer any questions I had. My husband and I had no idea what we wanted for our ceremony. Alyson was very knowledgeable and she was able to help guide us and give us different options for our ceremony. She was also very patient with us. Since my husband and I didn't know what we wanted to do for our ceremony, she took the time to explain things to us and give us many ideas on what we can do. She sent us drafts of our wedding ceremony multiple times and made changes to it until it was perfect. My husband and I love our wedding ceremony. It was beautiful and had us in tears. We would always remember it. You should get Alyson to officiate your wedding. You won't regret it!

riginally planned. She was amazing to work with! We were able to round up multiple times on zoom and in person, and talk through what we were looking for to make our ceremony special and unique. Alyson brought a light but caring touch to everything, and held her ground during some crazy winds to boot! Thanks for everything Alyson!!

ct person to marry us. She is incredibly kind, funny, down to earth and caring. She took the time to get to know us, our love story and paid close attention to every single detail -- not only in what we said, but in how she observed our relationship and interactions with one another. She genuinely wanted to get to know us and make our special day truly about us and tailored perfectly to us -- which she did beautifully. She blew my now husband and I as well as all of our guests away with how beautifully she delivered our ceremony and love story. She was thoughtful, funny, emotional, heart-felt, light-hearted and genuine. She made our day so incredibly special and memorable. We are all still talking about how incredible she was! We are forever grateful to Alyson for making our day and the entire experience so pleasant and unforgettable.

We knew as soon as we first spoke with her that Reverend Alyson was the right person to officiate our wedding at the International Tennis Hall of Fame in Newport, RI on 9/26/20. Sh...
e was easy to talk to, an experienced and dynamic public speaker, and a talented writer. Moreover, she was extremely generous with her time and sincere in her quest to get to know us as a couple and create a unique ceremony that accurately reflected our love story.
We couldn’t be happier with the final result, which was a perfect combination of gratitude and remembrance, scripture and storytelling, personality and tradition. Alyson was a pleasure to work with, allowing us multiple opportunities to review and provide edits to the ceremony. She was very responsive and came to the table with the direction and vision we were lacking. The best testament to her work came from our guests, some of whom described ours as the most touching, personal wedding ceremony they’ve witnessed.
Thank you Reverend Alyson for making our ceremony the highlight of our wedding day!
Alyson is down to earth, professional, and attentive, she is kind and knowledgeable, she was a great addition to our wedding and we really were thankful to have chosen her!
Alyson was the officiant for our wedding in June. She was so warm and friendly at our first meeting making her an easy choice. Working with her on the ceremony script was also easy...
and she was flexible with what we wanted. The ceremony was exactly what we wanted, she did a wonderful job! I had quite a few guests tell me that it was one of the best ceremonies they have been to and thought Alyson might be a family friend because she fit in with us so well. Highly recommend her!
Alyson is such a warm, genuine person- she makes the perfect ceremony officiant. She took the time to get to know us and what our wants were for the service and WOW did she deliver...
! I wish weddings were like birthday parties and we could have her marry us every year.
All of our adult guests commented on how friendly and amazing she was, many assuming she was a friend who had rallied to the charge of helping us to marry. When explained we only knew her for a couple of months, they remarked on how well she knew us and how well she met our "feel" for the wedding.
Alyson's process is simple and painless and she is awesome, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend her to anyone.
Alyson was wonderful to work with and helped us create the most beautiful ceremony. She really takes the time to sit down with you, understand your relationship deeply, and create ...
a perfectly represented ceremony. She is also super open to feedback and input, and I always felt like she wanted the ceremony to be ours. The result was fantastic, touching, and unique -- definitely not your average cookie-cutter ceremony. If you want someone that will make it super personal and truly cares, Alyson is your officiant!
Where do we start? Alyson was simply amazing. First off she took the time to get to know us, so she'd know what we wanted. This wasn't easy because I lived in an other state...
and my fiancee' lived in another country, but she managed just the same (thank you, Skype). Then she catered the ceremony to exactly what we wanted, and then also came up with additional fantastic ideas all her own that we hadn't even considered. On the day of the wedding, she eased our nerves with her gentle warm nature and good humor and made the day just....perfect. Both my wife and I are very grateful and we highly recommend her to future couples.
Alyson served as the officiant at our wedding, and she helped us create a wonderful ceremony that combined our own unique elements with tradition. We wanted someone who had officia...
ted same-sex weddings before and could help us answer some of the questions we couldn't solve on our own, and Alyson was just the right person. She was so friendly and pleasant from the beginning. When we met with her to discuss our ceremony, we talked with each other for a couple of hours and she was extremely easy to talk to, but pushed the two of us to think. About each other, our reasons for getting married, and what we wanted from our ceremony. Then, she put it all together into the most amazing ceremony we could imagine. We both teared up when we read Alyson's first draft. She helped us incorporate meaningful readings into our ceremony and gave us tips as we wrote our own vows. On the day of the ceremony, Alyson performed an absolutely stunning ceremony and included a moment for the two of us to really experience our union that our guests say "give them goosebumps when they think about it." She made us laugh, cry, and really experience the joyous occasion as it was happening. We're so grateful to have found Alyson and highly recommend her for other couples who are searching for an officiant.
I found Alyson on line since I wanted an officiant who can customize a ceremony that isn't entirely conventional. Alyson really took the time to get to know us: she had a detailed ...
questionnaire for us and then we chatted for a good two hours. She listened to our vision for the ceremony and then wrote a script for us to review. Alyson was also good at making practical advice on the time frame of the ceremony and giving suggestions on different elements to add to the ceremony. Most importantly she has a warm personality that put people at ease. She did a full rehearsal with us two days before the wedding and the big day went very smoothly. We'd definitely recommend Alyson especially if you're looking for an officiant who is open-minded and experienced who can make your ceremony "yours."
Alyson went above and beyond our expectations of what to expect for our wedding ceremony! She is extremely receptive and quick to make excellent recommendations. My new husband and...
I were pretty vague about what we wanted because we weren't exactly sure, but we knew what we didn't want and Alyson accomplished it perfectly. We gave her a few guidelines when we met with her in person, and she asked us questions about ourselves and wrote the most beautiful ceremony that was custom tailored to us. No "insert-name-here" and repeat ceremonies here, everything was beautifully written and personal! There was not a dry eye in the house! Thank you Alyson!
Alyson officiated our wedding on April 15th. Things went off without a hitch!! And this was in VERY large part as a result of her. We went back and forth and made changes along the...
way during the planning process and her suggestions were spot on. She also recommended a couple things that very morning once she saw the venue and layout and her suggestions made our day that much more special. I don't plan to get a divorce so I'll probably never need to hire Alyson again BUT if you are getting married you SHOULD. A-One!!!!!
Reverend Alyson was very attentive, helpful, and positive.
She helped make our wedding the perfect moment we were hoping for.
