Alyssa and Jim are just fantastic. Our entire experience with them was positive, from our initial Skype call to our engagement shoot to our wedding day and afterwards. The two of them go together perfectly, they keep things light and fun and completely non-stressed despite the naturally-stressful situation. And of course the most important thing: our photos came out amazingly well, just the way we wanted them: bright, colorful, cheerful and vivid, despite it being a rainy, grey day. You'd never know the weather was anything but perfect. They even found a sunset at one point, ran to get us, and helped us rush over to where the view would be best, leading to some of our favorite shots of the day. The photos are detailed without too much of that "soft" "romantic" feel some photographers go with... but not so detailed that you can see every last wrinkle as I've seen with other photographers; they found a great balance. Alyssa and Jim take both unexpected shots and classic photos for a really great, modern blend. Truly an excellent experience, I couldn't recommend them more highly.

I believe that every woman should do a boudoir shoot not just for that special someone, but most important, for themselves at least one time. This experience is about embracing your body and feeling super sexy without any judgment. It is amazing! After seeing some of Alyssa’s stunning photos at my good friend’s house, I decided to contact her about shooting boudoir photos for me. She was very receptive, and answered so many of my questions during our first phone call, and meeting. She knew that this was foreign to me, so she gave me many suggestions including where to shop for lingerie. The day of my photo shoot, Alyssa and her team were ready and waiting with open arms. From the moment I stepped foot into her studio, I felt like I had known them forever. They just wanted to have fun, and made me feel so comfortable. I think the best part was that they made me feel sexy and beautiful. The day was all about me for a change, which never happens. It started with getting my hair and makeup done, and then I had a stylist. How fun was that? We had so much fun during prep time that I was more than comfortable for my photo shoot. I have never had people make me feel so pretty and confident about my body before. They truly made me feel amazing, and this made my photo shoot an awesome experience. Of course, the best part is the finished product. Alyssa’s professionalism, talent, and eye are excellent, and truly show in every image that she took. She shot over 200 images of me and the most difficult part of this experience is choosing the images that I want. Each image is so unique, and Alyssa captured every emotion that I was feeling during the entire session. Seeing me in someone else’s eyes is truly captivating. My ten year wedding anniversary is approaching, and I could not think of a better gift for my husband than boudoir photos. I still have yet to give him the photos, but I am sure that he will love them. This was absolutely a unique and empowering experience for me, and again, every woman should shoot a boudoir session at least one time in their lives. Love and embrace your body! My husband and I were married this past August and we could not have picked better photographers than Alyssa and Jim. Not only is Alyssa a great photographer, but she and her husband are wonderful to work with. They truly made our wedding experience wonderful!

Tickled Pink Boudoir by Alyssa Andrew is absolutely amazing! Alyssa is very down to earth and easy to get along with. She makes you feel comfortable, confident, and beautiful. Her eye for angles, design, and capturing your personality are spot on! She has an incredible talent! I highly recommend her. You and your significant other will LOVE your photographs!

I have to admit that before we even had a venue I was looking for photographers that would be able to capture our wedding day in the non traditional, non cookie cutter format that is every parent wedding album. I found Alyssa via a Google search (I live in NY and trying to find reputable photographers in the Pocono area is not easy!) and immediately fell in love. Her photos are gorgeous, artsy and well thought out. Alyssa and Jim were awesome to work with. They were with us throughout the entire day but where never in our faces or forcing us to pose in awkward positions. Everything felt and was very natural (including the lighting--which makes every photo incredibly unique). Your wedding day is a very intimate and personal experience and I am so happy that Alyssa and Jim were there to capture every detail. They are more than just photographers, they are a support system and I couldn't thank them enough for everything they did!

We've had such a great experience working with Alyssa and her husband Jim for our engagement photo session, wedding session and my boudoir session. It was really important to me to have someone take our photos with an artistic approach and Alyssa does just that! The quality of the photos are amazing and we look fabulous in every single one of them! She really takes the time to make each and every photo look amazing that you have such a hard time chosing your favorite! Alyssa and Jim are true professionals and it speaks in their work. Worth every penny! You don't just get a photographer for your wedding when you hire Alyssa, you get a long lasting relationship that you can tell will last through years of other important events such as maternity and babies (which I am currently doing with Alyssa right now!!)

My husband and I had Alyssa and Jim take care of the photography for our wedding in October of 2011, as well as our engagement photos in October of 2010. We could not be more thirlled with everything Alyssa Andrew Photography provided. Both Alyssa and Jim are wonderful people who care deeply about what they do. They are extremely personable and relaxed but maintain a professional relationship with their clients. I felt that they took care of every detail that needed to be addressed, and more. As you can see by the amazing pictue posted of my husband and myself in our bathtubs; Alyssa Andrews-Swift and Jim Swift are one of a kind. We truly wouldn't have had anyone else shoot our wedding day. They captured so many amzing shots of an unforgettable day. They listen to our wants and needs and they by far went the extra mile. We never would have thought our photographers would be "rolling" around on the ground to get just the perfect shot; and let me tell you they took over 1000+ amazingly beautiful shots! I knew Alyssa before she went into photography professionally. When I started seeing her work I knew I had to use her, even before I got engaged. When it finally happened I was still fully impressed with her work and did NOT EVEN LOOK for another photographer as I had yet to see anything close to as impressive to the artwork she was producing. Our engagment session was so much fun, both Alyssa and Jim are really easy to work with and a lot of fun themselves. They can capture shots and moments without having to "pose" you. And that is exactly the look I wanted. Candid, real, in the moment but gorgeous at the same time. They take photos and you end up with art. Same went for our wedding day. Alyssa and Jim arrived early and stayed late. Both the engagement and wedding shots were nothing short of stellar and I will continue to use them in the future. At least 3 of my friends and family have used them as well as a result from the work they've seen Alyssa and Jim produce for us. Bottom line, if you looking for a high quality photographer you can stop here. The work is simply awesome.

Nick and I went to meet a few photographers before we came to the jumping conclusion that Alyssa and Jim were it. Everyone we met with we were like “eh, I guess they would be good.” This was not the case when we met with Alyssa and Jim. The whole ride home we couldn’t stop talking about how we had to have them. Their photography style is amazing, different, and fun. While the style was a major part in how we ended up here the other part is the personality & passion that these two exude not only for their work but for each other. Working with them on our wedding day and engagement session was a remarkable. They both have unique ideas for pictures and are definitely willing to the extra mile to make the shot great. Alyssa & Jim have a fantastic ability to make you feel completely comfortable & relaxed while getting you picture taken all day (something you would think would be awkward). It almost felt as though they were an extension of the family. We got many compliments from the bridal party as well as guests saying they were very professional and fun to work with. If you are a future bride/groom looking for a photographer check them out you will NOT be disappointed and you will most likely talk about how awesome they are the whole way home!

When we first met Alyssa and Jim, we knew we wanted to work with them. The photos were so colorful and unique, but their personalities were a huge selling point for us. We immediately began bouncing creative ideas of of one another. We knew that they would be playful and allow us to photograph all the quirky things we wanted. When the day finally arrived, we were at ease and comfortable. With over 2,000 proofs to choose from, we have every aspect of our wedding documented. Choosing the album will be the most difficult part of the whole process...there are just so many beautiful photos to choose from. In addition, we decided that we didn't want engagement photos, but instead spent a day with Alyssa and Jim in New York City, taking formal photos at our favorite places. I have never had so much fun, or covered so much ground, by foot, taxi, pedi-cab, or subway, in one day. Working with Alyssa and Jim was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. Having their unique style of photography has allowed us to relive so many wonderful memories each time we see a photo. We highly reccomend Alyssa Andrew Photography for all your wedding needs.

Alyssa Andrew Photography shot my recent wedding in November and also an engagement session this past summer. Alyssa and Jim are a husband and wife team and the sweetest couple. They make it fun and comfortable to have your picture taken, and they know how to make the pictures look amazing. They have a great eye for capturing detail and emotion. Alyssa & Jim recently shot my wedding last May and the photographs are stunning! Alyssa & Jim were so easy to work with and made me feel completely comfortable in front of the camera. I rarely take a nice photo and every single one from my wedding turned out great! They are super talented, have an amazing eye, and produce cutting edge and thoughtful photographs. On top of their beautiful photographs they are very professional and responsive to your every wants and needs! I honestly couldn't have asked for anything more!

I'm a floral design and event planner and have worked with Alyssa and Jim on a number of weddings and special projects. Alyssa is always calm, wonderful, professional and a pleasure to work with. And her work, oh, her work....it's just nothing short of stunning. Her eye for lighting, color and composition make for work that is ethereal, playful and breathtaking all at once. I often wish I could get married again, just to be able to use her as my photographer. My brides have been thrilled with her over and over again, and I feel the utmost confidence recommending her at the very top of my list.
