Alyssa was absolutely AMAZING!! I knew that not only did I wanted to work with her from the initial consultation, I knew that I NEEDED her. She helped me from the very beginning ...
to help me decide and determine what I wanted, even when I didn't know what I wanted. Alyssa and her team ensured everything on the day of my wedding ran smoothly and kept me calm the entire day. Her professionalism is top notch and would recommend her to everyone!
Alyssa was wonderful with coordinating my wedding vendors and being available for questions prior to the wedding. She was especially helpful the couple days leading up to the weddi...
ng with picking up things from me and bringing to the venue and coordinating with them. She kept the day running very slowly and on time and was always cool, calm, and collected. I loved her preparedness and ready to help attitude! Very sweet and considerate and all around hype woman!!
It’s impossible to even describe how AMAZING Alyssa is. To preface: we live on the West Coast and the wedding was in New Orleans, so planning a wedding 2,500 miles away seemed like...
an impossible task; but it wasn’t with Alyssa on our side. From the 6+ months of planning, vendor booking, budgeting, and more...to the flawless execution of the wedding, Alyssa was there every step of the way. And I mean EVERY STEP OF THE WAY! There wasn’t one second that we second guessed her work or decisions.
Alyssa always maintained contact, knew exactly where to guide us in our decisions, took control where she felt it necessary, and made our lives incredibly easy. To say, “Alyssa has you covered”, is an understatement. She’s a true professional and that was evident from day 1.
We had to postpone our original wedding date by about 6 months and while it was a tough decision, Alyssa took care of all of the rebooking and really helped ease our minds about everything. After the 2nd wedding date happened, it was so unbelievably perfect that we forgot the first date was even postponed. Alyssa had budget spreadsheets created specifically for us, kept contracts organized and easily accessible, and kept us up to date with all of our vendor payments.
Alyssa found us EXACTLY what we wanted in terms of the catering, decorations, floral options, DJ, photographers AND film crew (and more), and every single vendor was the nicest, most down to earth person. We couldn’t have been more happy with our selections and that’s all due to Alyssa. Every guest that attended LOVED the food and Alyssa was even able to organize a special meal for our celiac (gluten intolerant) wedding officiant. The DJ was great and we had a good size group on the dance floor for the duration of the party! Everyone had an absolutely amazing time and it couldn’t have gone smoother.
We had a hard time initially deciding on our venue and Alyssa found one that wasn’t even on our radar - now we couldn’t imagine having the wedding at any other location. It was perfect perfect perfect.
We didn’t have an official “rehearsal” so before the ceremony and before guests showed up, Alyssa was able to smooth our final anxieties by walking us through the ceremony and giving everyone specific instructions. Everything went so smoothly as if we did have an official rehearsal.
Alyssa really is a one-stop-shop and we can’t recommend her enough. Your wedding is supposed to be the most amazingly happy day of your life, and ours was exactly that. Do yourself a favor, do your wedding a favor, and plan with Alyssa Arlene Events!!!!!!

went smoothly on my day of wedding. I always received quick responses to any questions or concerns I had. She was such a help on our wedding day and my husband and I were so thankful to have her there!
When I got engaged, I was unsure where to even begin wedding planning. I had seen Alyssa's social media and thought she would be the perfect person to help plan my wedding! Little ...
did I know how helpful she would be throughout the whole process! Having my mom out of town made me nervous for making large decisions, but Alyssa always had our best interests at heart. We can not thank her enough for everything she did, and having everything go so smoothly. I would recommend her to any couple. From recommending vendors, scheduling appointments, accommodating her schedule to meet with my mom while she was in town, deal with what I would call a rowdy wedding party, and help me soak in the special moments of the best day of my life, I am so grateful to have had her throughout my wedding planning process!
Alyssa took care of everything!!!
I had her month of package and from our very first meeting the burden was lifted off my shoulders.
She was organized and took care of everything-...
from confirming details with vendors, creating a thorough timeline for the wedding day, making sure each vendor knew when and where and what was expected, and setting out all the decorations and arranging the reception just like I imagined! All the vendors told me great things about working with her- they said she was organized and thorough as well as kind!
She answered all my questions before the wedding quickly, and I really felt like I could ask her anything!
She had a wonderful assistant day of and I felt so comfortable with both of them. I didn't have to remind them of or do anything! They made sure everything went as planned in a smooth, natural way! She took how I dreamed the day would be and ran with it.
I can't imagine the wedding month, week, or day without her!! She is the absolute best!!

throughout the process, from setting up appointments with vendors to making sure the day itself ran smoothly. She saw to every detail and made the day a success. You cannot possibly find a better planner in the state of Louisiana!

of my wedding but that whole week went so smooth! She made my wedding dreams come to life and perfectly executed what I was planning for 2 years. The perfectionist in me could not be happy. I think my father said it best in a thank you email to Alyssa..."I wish I could find the right words to convey our appreciation for unruffled grace you personify and showed in the ...
weeks leading up to our daughter’s wedding, at the event, and the reception thereafter. I don’t know how any bride can handle all the minutia and details necessary to pull off even a modest wedding, without your guidance, support and follow through. You brought our daughter confidence and comfort in the critical days before the ceremony, allowing all of us to fully enjoy the tender moments that will touch our hearts forever. You were there for all of us, every step of the way. You are a gem and made our special day, absolutely perfect."

e about our wedding day. Alyssa was professional, kind, organized, extremely detailed, and for lack of a better adjective simply amazing. She definitely went above and beyond our very high expectations. She made my dream wedding come to life and most importantly, she saved my sanity.
My husband and I took two years to plan out our DIY Cajun and colorful wedding from a thousand miles away. We knew we wanted to make/build/plan a majority of our wedding ourselves ...
but knew we would need help along the way. We hired Alyssa Mistric to have someone local in Louisiana to keep all the details straight and take command on the wedding day so bride/groom/family/friends could enjoy the day as much as possible.
SHE WAS AMAZING!
There are so many details that we never even thought about but Alyssa was priceless in keeping us on budget, bringing up valuable bits of advice, finding a perfect photographer in a crunch when our first choice fell through four months before the day, helped form backup plans as it happened to rain on our outdoor wedding, and was a reliable helping hand through the entire process. Thanks to her, we have countless beautiful memories collected from our wedding day and not a single regret.

Alyssa is a great wedding planner. Very sweet and helpful!
Using Alyssa was probably the best choice that my parents and I made with our wedding planning. She is so sweet and easy to work with. Every meeting that we had, I felt like I was...
meeting up with one of my friends. I loved all the vendors that she suggested for me to use. She is almost just as excited about your big day as you are and she took care of anything that I asked of her. The day of my wedding was so stress free because I knew that she would take care of everything. It was pouring rain the day of my wedding. If I wouldn't have had her as my wedding planner, I would have been stressing and not knowing what I could do. I was so thankful to have her because she had everything figured out and she made it so easy. I would recommend her to any bride that is getting married. You are not only getting a wedding planner, you are gaining a friend!!

I was busy getting pampered on the wedding day,so I didn't see her in action, but EVERYONE told me she was awesome. Working hard the whole time trying to make everything perfect. And it was perfect so I would say she succeeded. It was a beautiful, perfect day and I attribute that to Alyssa and her hard work.

re beautiful than I ever imagined it would be! She is so organized! She got with all my vendors for me! And she even took care of things I would think of before I would even come to her about them! She took care of the entire set up, and everything was so perfect! I didn't have to do a thing except relax and enjoy the day! I would recommend her to anyone I know that is looking for the perfect person to help them plan their BIG day!! I just love Alyssa! She is a sweet as she is talented!! You will just fall in love with her!! 😊
Working with Alyssa was a great experience. As soon as my husband and I met her, we felt she would be perfect for planning our wedding. She is friendly, energetic, kind, creative, ...
and we felt like we had known her our whole lives after just one brief meeting. She was great along the way, but the week of the wedding she was absolutely vital and when she really outdid herself. She took all of the stress off of me by transporting all of my décor, contacting all of the vendors, creating a timeline for the bridal party to follow, and coordinating the rehearsal so well that the ceremony started on time and went smoothly the next day. She really did everything I could have asked for and then some. She decorated the Wolff Ballroom precisely as I saw it in my mind. She told us what to do and when to do it and yet also let us just have fun. And one of the last details that really exceeded our expectations was that she packed us dinner and cake that could have fed 5.
Alyssa knows what she is doing and is so easy going and laid back that she makes it an enjoyable experience. She can be trusted to plan your wedding and you can be positive that it will turn out exactly how you envisioned it. She was a joy to work with and I’m excited to see the weddings she plans in the future.-

ckly got to work on everything I needed her to do! She glued together 500 sheets of paper with a stick between them to make 250 fans for my wedding the week of my wedding! You can't get anyone better than her! I didn't have to worry about everything the day of my wedding, she set everything up better than I could have planned myself. Alyssa is the sweetest girl I have met and she is exactly what I needed on my wedding day. My dad looked at Alyssa while we were waiting to go the aisle and she was sending everyone down the aisle and told me he was so glad we hired her. Love her!
Alyssa is such a doll! There aren't even enough kind words to describe her or her work. She's always willing to do absolutely anything for her brides. Initially I needed Alyssa, no...
t to plan the wedding, just to help coordinate and set up the reception. I knew exactly what I wanted for my wedding and reception, but had no one to set everything up. Alyssa was able to tell us where to get the things we couldn't find, she put together our going-away streamers, even packed me a night-before-the-wedding relaxation kit. The day of the wedding was such a breeze, and it was all because Alyssa had everything taken care of!
