About this vendor
Hi, I’m Alyssa! I’m a wedding photographer based in Boston, MA who shoots in Rhode Island, Maine, the Catskills, and NYC. I love capturing the loud, bold, colorful, and joy-filled moments that make each wedding day unforgettable. With more than a decade of experience behind the camera, I’ve had the honor of documenting weddings all across the Northeast.
Whether you’re planning a 200-person party or an intimate gathering with your closest loved ones, I’m there to catch every moment—big or small—in a way that feels genuine and never stuffy. My approach combines a mix of fun, editorial-style portraits and all the candid, wild, quiet, and beautiful in-between moments that truly tell the story of your day.
I’m drawn to color, boldness, and joy, and I love working with couples who share that same energy. My goal is to create images that feel like you: honest, vibrant, and full of life.

like having a friend behind the camera. She’s fun, easy to be around, and somehow just gets what you’re going for without you having to overexplain it.
She captured our style perfectly, and the photos turned out beautiful, especially the indoor flash shots of our more intimate moments. Those are some of our absolute favorites. Alyssa was also so generous with her time and incredibly professional throughout the whole process. We never felt rushed or staged, and she made everything feel natural and effortless.

our wedding party and family. She was super responsive, really easy to work with, met us at our venue before the wedding to scout out the location and think through her shots and gave us great advice on how many group pictures to take. On the day of our wedding her energy was infectious as soon as she walked in the door and made us all feel at ease! She took amazing shots through the day into the night without ever making us feel like she was in our face. Highly recommend!

— from the big, emotional highlights to the small, fleeting details — all while making it feel effortless and natural. Wrangling family members for group shots (no small feat!) was handled with patience, humor, and total grace, and she kept the process quick and fun so we could get back to enjoying the party.
What truly amazed us was how she blended in seamlessly with the night — it never felt like a staged photoshoot or that we were being pulled away from the celebration. Her energy was warm, friendly, and fun, making her feel more like a guest who just happened to have a magic camera in hand. Our friends and family adored her, and it shows in the photos — genuine smiles, authentic moments, and the true spirit of the night. These are images we’ll cherish for a lifetime, and we’re endlessly grateful to her for capturing our reception in a way that feels so “us.”

nd suggested new ideas we hadn’t thought of. All of our guests lived working with her, followed her direction, and were happy to play along with her during the reception. The photos of the ceremony communicate love and warmth, the family photos communicate the joy of being together, and the reception photos communicate such energy and fun. Candid party photography is where she excels, but in each photo, such emotion jumps out at you. We smile and laugh each time we look back at our photos. She was fantastic and we recommend her to everyone we hear is having a wedding.
