About this vendor
Hi! I'm Alyssa and I am so excited that you're getting married! I am ready to be there for it all - the tears, the laughs, the crazy dance party at your reception. My style is very much documentary when it comes to capturing a wedding day. I let the day unfold how it will and I capture it as I see it. I'm a sucker for little details and fleeting moments that often go unnoticed. I find that they hold the most magic when you're looking back on such a special day. I'm so happy that you made it to my page so don't be afraid to say hi!

Alyssa was so much more than our wedding photographer she was such an important part of our entire experience. From the very beginning, she made us feel completely seen, understood...
, and taken care of in a way that is so rare.
She has this ability to read the room, anticipate moments, and capture everything so effortlessly while still making you feel present in it all. Nothing ever felt forced or posed just natural, emotional, and so us. Looking back at our photos feels like stepping right back into those moments, which is something we will cherish forever.
What truly sets Alyssa apart is the level of care she brings. Every detail, every interaction, every moment felt thoughtful and intentional. And as if her work behind the camera wasn’t already enough, she gave us a forever keepsake we’ll cherish forever!
If you’re looking for someone who will not only document your day beautifully but elevate the entire experience, Alyssa is that person. We feel so lucky to have had her.
When we were planning our May 2025 destination wedding to New Orleans, we found and fell in love with Ali's style and approach to photography. She seemed to capture couples so genu...
inely and we were so excited to hire her for our micro wedding. From the first emails and phone calls to the delivery of our final photos, Ali was welcoming, organized and so fun to talk to. We also connected on both of our love of traveling to Japan! She arrived promptly on our wedding day and quickly made us feel at ease. My husband and I are sometimes a little awkward with photos, but she captured so many cherished moments and we are beyond thrilled at how they turned out. We are so happy with our final photos (which she finished so quickly!) and we feel so lucky to have found Ali. We would, without a doubt, hire her again for any specialty occasion!
If I could give 10 stars I would. Ali shot our engagement photos, so we knew we were in good hands for the wedding, but somehow she still blew us away. She truly feels like she cou...
ld be our friend who just happens to have a camera with her. She made us feel so comfortable and natural. She gives the perfect amount of direction - you never feel awkward or confused as to what you should be doing, but every shot still looks effortless and candid. Every single one of our wedding photos (both of us and of the guests) are full of life, romance, and joy. They're so special.
Ali captures intimate and playful moments from vantage points that make you think "what the heck I didn't even know she was over there!" And somehow she captures flash photography moments at night but you swear you never saw a single flash go off. She's a magician!
My husband and I shared a final, private dance at the end of the night that truly ended up being our favorite moment of the whole wedding. It was so intimate, and Ali somehow snagged a photo from a hidden vantage point and captured the moment perfectly. Our hearts dropped when we saw the picture. We are forever grateful to Ali for everything she did, but especially that photo. We'll cherish it forever.
Of note, Ali's services was the only wedding budget line item that my husband didn't bat an eye at. SHE'S WORTH IT!
Shout out, also, to Ali's second shooter Sarah who was the perfect complement to Ali's work. By the end of the night we wanted to be best friends with both of them!
Where do I even start?!

t of view for all of the amazing moments on our wedding day. I found Ali’s page on the Knot vendor list, and I immediately was like “this is it”. Her love for what she does and photography screams from her work, and I LOVE her artistic point of view. She makes the small details just as special as the big moments. Not only is her work outstanding, she is the sweetest human! Ali makes it so fun and personalized to where it isn’t awkward. We are two extremely nervous/unnatural people in front of the camera, and she made it so easy from our engagement session to our entire wedding day. With Ali, I truly did not have a single worry about wedding photos before, during, or after the wedding. We are genuinely so appreciative of her and her hard work for capturing our most special day. Receiving our album and going through it with my husband is one of my fondest memories along with our wedding day! There truly is nobody else I’d have capture the day, and nobody else I would recommend more!
We absolutely loved working with Ali for our wedding, welcome party and engagement photos! Ali’s documentary style photography captured so many small details and moments which make...
s it feel like we are able to relive the weekend every time we look at her photos! There was not a moment big or small that she didn’t capture. Ali blended right in with our friends and family (and so did her second shooter Sarah) and made everyone feel so comfortable which allowed her to capture so many loving, fun and silly moments throughout the welcome party and wedding day. Finding a wedding photographer who would be able to capture the vibe and feeling of the occasion was a top priority for us and from the moment we received our engagement photos we knew we found the perfect photographer in Ali! Hire Ali- it will be the best decision you make. We cant wait to work with her again for our next set of photos!
I've known Ali since we were 3 or 4 years old! I knew that when I eventually got married, I wanted her to do our pictures. She came to the hotel where myself and the girls were get...
ting ready, and her second shooter (also a classmate of ours) went to get pictures with the guys at the church since they beat us to the church. Ali was even willing to do day-of bridals with me at our reception venue, which was amazing since we weren't able to do them before the fact. I can't wait to see the final products!
Alyssa was absolutely amazing. We are so happy that we were able to work with her for our wedding photos. The pictures came out so beautifully, and she was able to capture the fun ...
we had at our wedding.
Ali took our engagement photos and she was a total dream! We loved working with her and we love our photos.

g. I really got to relive the day with her photos.
We loved working with Alyssa for our wedding in New Orleans in Nov 2022. My partner and I are both really selective about photography. I'm so, so glad we went with Alyssa because w...
orking with her was easy/fun, and the photographs themselves came out SOOOO GOOD. My mind was blown! The overall quality was just amazing, super vivid yet very natural and realistic. I dread posed photos, but Alyssa was super patient and creative about setting up shots that felt natural but turned out really interesting and beautiful. She also took the most amazing candid photos throughout the day/night. Sweet moments, funny moments, weird/goofy moments, crazy dancing moments - she got them all :) It can be hard to find a photographer who you feel can capture your authentic story as a queer couple. I'm grateful to have worked with someone who was able to do that. Thank you, Alyssa!
Working with Ali was an absolute dream! When looking for a wedding photographer, I fell in love with how she was able to capture so much emotion in her photos. After hiring her, we...
had our engagement session and she effortlessly captured incredible moments between my now husband and I. On the wedding day, Ali and her second shooter Sarah showed up and were relaxed and so fun to be with. And after reviewing the gallery of photos- I am absolutely amazed at all the moments, emotion, and energy that they captured throughout the whole wedding. Ali’s photography style so genuinely reflects the whole feeling and vibe of the day. I cannot stop going through the photos reliving the magic of the day. Don’t hesitate to hire Ali!!
Alyssa shot our Wedding and did an absolutely phenomenal job! She was super pro, worked closely with us to coordinate the day, and was such a joy to work with.
It was important t...
o my wife and I that we looked like ourselves, like real people, and that the photos all had a natural look to them. Seeing Alyssa's work, we knew this was the style of her work, and we're super happy with all the shots that she captured.
Her work ahead of time to figure out who needed to be shot made the day run really smoothly. Then on top of that, she drove us from our venue to the Tree of Life at Audubon and back for some extra photos there. Sneak peak photos came quickly, and she offered to shoot film which was an absolute plus.
She's awesome, and would 100% recommend.
Alyssa was an absolute pleasure to work with! She shot our engagement and wedding photos. She captured the raw and real emotions of our wedding day. Every time I look at our photos...
, I am able to remember each moment so vividly. She also took time to really get to know us and how we are as a couple. She captured every moment that was important to us. Our moments didn’t feel forced - it was comforting having her behind the camera! I could go on and on about how amazing and talented she is, her work absolutely reflects it!
Alyssa was great to have for our wedding day. She was extremely accommodating to making sure we had all the shots we wanted throughout the day and she was just great to have around...

very helpful in giving out suggestions for potential locations. The day-of she was right on time and so easy to work with. She was able to pose us with ease and made us very constable shooting. The turnaround to get our photos back was very quick. The quality of the photos were top-notch - wow! There were so many wonderful photos she took in just an hour! I want to print/frame so many of them. I am so happy with our decision to work with Alyssa and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a talented wedding photographer!
Ali is really so amazing. We knew we would treasure wedding photos more than a videographer, so we decided to invest in a top notch photographer. And Ali was the BEST photographer ...
we could have chosen! She got to the house early and got right to work. She helped pose me and the groom for some portraits and the two of us together! I've only seen the first little batch of photos she's released, and I'm so impressed with what she captured (all on her own, might I add). Even though the wedding day is so hectic, she was so calm. Also, one thing I will always remember from the reception (even though it goes by SO fast) every time I turned around I could see Ali's arm and camera reaching out and grabbing shots. She was ALWAYS there. So impressive. She's the best!!

oves in and out seamlessly, yet she doesn't miss a shot. Truly one of the best photographers we've ever had. The memories she creates are truly priceless and will last a lifetime.
Ali absolutely blew us away with the pictures of our wedding!! She prepared well in advance and asked us exactly what pictures we wanted for portraits and what mattered most to us ...
for the reception to make sure she captured what we wanted for our special day. When she arrived, she brought the best and most relaxing calming energy and it was exactly what I needed. She directed me and all of our friends and family with an incredible grace and poise while managing to let us have fun without feeling overly-managed at all. She was fantastic about taking more than just portrait pictures and really capturing our personalities and the personalities of all of our loved ones. She also perfectly understood the vibe that we wanted and we absolutely ADORE the style she edited the pictures in. I can’t think of a single way she could’ve been any better than she was. She is so so talented and we cannot emphasize enough how much we loved everything she did for us! Very highly recommend her for all your photography needs!

thing we hoped for. She was such a pleasure to work with and we are beyond excited about the final product. We got our sneak peaks back really quickly and then some bonus film screens, too! Our final album arrived right on time and we still can’t stop looking at them and reminiscing. My husband and I are not used to having our photos taken and Ali did a great job helping us out with that 😂 we felt comfortable and she caught a lot of great candids as well as some posed portraits! We loved the whole experience and would recommend Alyssa Fisher Photography to everyone! ❤️
From the moment we met Ali, she put us at ease. We explained to her that we are camera shy and have no idea how to pose. Without us even realizing, she turned our engagement photo ...
session into so much fun and a masterpiece. We knew for the wedding she would be enjoyable to work with and that we could totally trust her to make us look good! Wedding day came around and the location we planned for first look became unavailable very suddenly. Ali quickly thought of another beautiful spot and we worked with what we had and the first look pics are absolutely my favorite. She has such an eye for framing a photo and catching emotions at the best time. Ali also navigated throughout our large reception and still managed to create art. She is incredible!!

lped guide us through NOLA for pictures which was great because we were unfamiliar with the city. Alyssa was also great at posing us with cool settings without making us feel staged. We felt really natural during the shoot and this definitely shows through in the pictures. This shoot was the bride's favorite activity from the bachelorette and now we have an album to remember forever!

er when or where we got married, it would be perfect and so would our photos.
Our photos for our engagement shoot came out natural and down-to-earth, which is exactly how my fiancé and I are - we were worried any engagement photo session would look staged or fake but that was absolutely not the case with Ali. Neither myself nor my fiancé really enjoy taking photos but she made the whole process so easy and enjoyable and we ended up getting wonderful pictures. And then our wedding photos came out amazing - she captured all the small moments (my fiancé holding my hand during speeches) to the big ones (like the surprise tattoo I got of his handwriting!) in addition to the very long portrait list I gave her which she whipped through expertly so we could get on to the fun part (drinks/food!).
Ali is not only a great photographer but also a genuine person. We'll definitely be taking photos in years to come with her for mini-sessions and other big life events
Ali is the absolute best! With a couple who is not super comfortable being affectionate in front of others, especially a camera, she captured stunning photos of us, our family and ...

Also during wedding she pulled me aside to mention pictures I had noted I wanted, so helpful Bc I would never have remembered and absolutely wanted! During the wedding my whole family mentioned how she had such a warm presence they thought she was a guest. You’ll love working with Ali, and you will LOVE your pictures.

Her personality and photography style meshed so well with how we envisioned our wedding day. This was our first time having professional photos taken of us, and she made us feel so comfortable. Hiring Ali to capture our wedding day was the best decision we made and we are so happy to have such amazing photos to look back on from that day. I highly recommend Ali!

nd willing to squeeze me into her schedule. The whole process of booking with her was such a breeze. Shooting with Ali was also very comfortable. When shooting with a new photographer, I always worry if the shoot will be awkward, but you definitely don't have to worry about that with Ali! She puts you in such a comfortable and natural environment. One bonus is that she also doesn't mind when you bring friends to the shoot. I brought my maid-of-honor and sister to my session and Ali definitely used it as an advantage, getting them to make me laugh to get the most candid shots.
If you're considering booking Ali, just do it. You seriously will not be disappointed with the outcome of your pictures!
