I didn't have very strong ideas about how to do my hair and makeup, and she struck the perfect balance between guiding me based on her expertise, but also supporting me as I was trying to find my own vision. I had my hair and makeup done in her studio which was such a cozy and warm environment to begin my wedding day. I would recommend her to anyone!

of! I'm not someone who wears a lot of makeup day-to-day and it was really important to me to feel natural and comfortable in my own skin. Alyssa completely understood this and created a look that felt and looked flawless! Both my hair and makeup lasted the entire wedding and I didn't have to worry one bit. Even my husband (who isn't a big fan of makeup) said it looked perfect! Besides being punctual, organized, and all around excellent at what she does, Alyssa is SO much fun to spend time with. The wedding day can be chaotic with a lot of people running around and things going on. Alyssa (and her impeccable getting ready playlist) set such a calm, positive vibe for the day and everyone in my wedding party loved hanging out with her. I cannot recommend her highly enough and am so grateful to her for making my wedding day such a treat.

She did 7 different services for me, my bridesmaids and our officant and never once complained. Even when there was a slight change of schedule due to some mix up with my photographer, Alyssa managed to get all of our hair and makeup done an hour earlier than planned. She can do long or short hair and is skilled in makeup styles for even the most makeup phobic brides like me! I often feel uncomfortable with makeup as I never wear it in my daily life, but the work Alyssa did for me made me feel like a million bucks. It was timeless and lightweight and stayed on the whole night. She even made some of my girls little touch up kits! When it came to my hair she created the perfect fingerwave to match my veil. She gave me exactly what I wanted. I was planning my wedding on a small hair and makeup budget and I found her prices to be very affordable. She even cut me a deal because I have short hair. Alyssa was 100% worth every dollar I spent and more! I can't thank her enough for making me feel perfect on my wedding day.

Alyssa even followed up with me after the trial to see how everything held up and to see if we needed to make any adjustments. We ended up making a few changes and I’m so glad we did because I LOVED how my final look turned out! Alyssa and Sarah also did hair & makeup for my entire bridal party and my mom & MIL on wedding day as well. They made everyone feel so comfortable and everyone looked incredible!! I think the best part about Alyssa & Sarah was the positive, chill energy they brought with them on wedding day. One thing I didn’t think about when I was booking my vendors was how much time you really spend with your hair & makeup team on your wedding day. Emotions and nerves are at their highest on the morning of your wedding and they seriously made such a difference for me and everyone else! Alyssa and Sarah are both just genuinely nice people who were able to keep us feeling relaxed & taken care of, who could laugh & joke around with us and who just kept an overall positive vibe in the room. I can’t say enough great things, look no further for your wedding day hair & makeup needs!!!

My hair is naturally extremely flat and straight and I always struggle to get my hair to hold a curl whenever I try to do it myself, so I knew I wanted a professional to do it for my wedding day. Alyssa easily meets those expectations of professionality with her skills in makeup and hair. While my makeup trial went very well, my hair trial was a little more difficult (naturally, lol), but Alyssa was very professional and supportive of making my hair vision come true for my wedding day by going above and beyond with doing her own personal research on products that would help my straight hair hold a curl without damaging it with heat! The products she used held my hair so well throughout the hot summer day and dancing, and I was fully able to be present on my wedding day and have lots of fun! I didn't have to worry about my curls falling out and my makeup sweating off at all. Alyssa and her assistant worked super quickly on my bridal party but didn't rush their work and we were done ahead of schedule! My bridesmaids and mom were all saying how pretty they felt, and I felt like the most beautiful person alive! Alyssa and her services are worth every cent, I will definitely be recommending her to anyone who asks!

day. Her communication is outstanding. My contract was straight forward but informative (I love a contract because it feels safer). But truly I had not doubt I could rely on her. She reached out the week before and sent directions for hair prep for the ladies and I. She arrived at the hotel at the crack ass of dawn and was ready to go. My room was small and cramped but she didn’t skip a beat. She was positive and supportive but kept us on a schedule. She gave super helpful feedback to my mom whose hair does not hold a curl, and we had a very humid day. My mom ended up going with Alyssa’s suggestion and her hair looked amazing all night long! She was thrilled. When I tell you that Alyssa did not settle for anything less than perfection on my hair… this girl must have tried at least 2 or 3 different sized barrels for my curls to make sure they were just right. Did I mention she did 9 people’s hair that day? She did not even seem remotely stressed. 100000% would recommend Alyssa for your wedding day hair needs and I’m sure you’ll also love her salon if you go for a trial or a haircut/color.

recreated them even better than I could've imagined. My makeup was expertly done, simple and sophisticated without looking cakey or too heavy handed. My hair was absolutely stunning and withstood the humidity and a little rain. I couldn't be happier with Alyssa, she went above and beyond for me and my mom who also got her makeup done. Her studio is the perfect place to take those 'getting-ready' photos, so don't forget to ask about that!

She’s not only fantastic at her job, she’s incredibly personable and immediately puts you at ease. I left my bridal trial and (after taking about 100 pictures of my hair in the bathroom of her studio’s building and then staring in awe at them) told anyone who would listen that even though the wedding process can be stressful I was SO happy to know I couldn’t have made a better choice with my hair and makeup artist. Alyssa brought another artist to do our makeup due to the number of people and they both worked so seamlessly the morning of the wedding. They had a perfect balance of not stepping on toes or appearing intrusive while also expertly reading a room and sparking fun conversations and creating a lighthearted environment in situations that could’ve have been stressful. So, I’ll say one last time- yes, you should hire Alyssa. Just do it.
