Okay, so this review is a little preemptive because we haven't gotten our photos back just yet so I'm sure I will follow up with another review. But I wanted to share our experience with Alyssa Marie and encourage brides to look into her when i...t comes time to choose someone to capture your special day. We met Alyssa a LONG TIME AGO...because we had a 2 year/2 month engagement. As soon as we met her we knew we wanted to work with her. Her vision matched ours and she put us at ease. I'm someone who is very self conscious about my body (like most women) and was concerned about taking any photos. When it finally came time for our engagement session, Alyssa was game for ANYTHING. She even spent extra time with us because she wanted to get the perfect shots. I was nervous to get the photos back and when I did, to my surprise, I felt really beautiful. She did a wonderful job capturing our spirit of love and fun. The day of the wedding she and her second shooter Leanna showed up perfectly on time. They were fun, and again, open to our silliness. At one point in the evening they had said their goodbyes and what seemed like half an hour later I noticed they were back and taking more photos! They were just awesome. Again, haven't seen the wedding pics yet and I'm doing everything I can to hold off on bugging her to death about them because I know these things take time... but I already know we'll love them.
