We had an amazing experience working with AM Beauty for our wedding! Megan was so helpful and responsive throughout the entire planning process—she made everything seamless and stress-free. On the big day, Shannon did our makeup and Alex and another lovely stylist (whose name I’m sadly blanking on!) did our hair. All three were absolutely wonderful—kind, professional, and incredibly talented. They made us feel so comfortable and truly brought our vision to life. We couldn't have asked for a better beauty team. Highly recommend AM Beauty for any special occasion!

I had a great makeup experience with AM beauty! So did my bridal party! The makeup trial was super helpful and staff listen to minor changes I wanted and day of executed perfectly! They are very organized and take detailed notes. Day of, they ask bridal party what they want/inspiration and the didn’t disappoint! Everything was timed perfectly and seamless. A very relaxed getting ready environment that wasn’t rushed and wasn’t nervous for the end result!

I had an incredible experience with AM Beauty for my hair and makeup! I have naturally curly hair, and I wanted to embrace my curls in an elegant updo for my special day and Amber truly listened to what I envisioned and brought it to life beautifully. The updo she created was stunning, and my curls looked perfect—exactly how I dreamed! My makeup was flawless, enhancing my natural features while staying true to my style. The entire staff were so nice, professional, and accommodating, making the whole experience stress-free and enjoyable. I couldn’t recommend Sara and her team enough—they are amazing!

I absolutely loved the hair and make up done by artist Amber. My wedding theme was galaxy/celestial and my bridal color was a bright bold purple! Now the look I was going for was not what she usually does and when we did my preview, we used what colors we had available. On wedding day we brought other color pallets and she did very well with making my eyes pop!!!! Since the wedding look would be different from the preview, I put my trust in her and I have never been so right! I never style my hair and loved how she added the extensions and curled it to perfection. Along with amazing work, Amber was easy to get along with and talk to!

AM Beauty knocked it out of the park on my wedding day. Megan was so communicative and matched me with the perfect stylist, and I could not be happier with the final results! Alexis was our stylist and did my hair and makeup as well as the MOB & MOG. She and Megan went above and beyond to make sure I felt beautiful and even special ordered shorter extensions for me to rent to get the look that made me feel the most like myself but better! They want to know your honest opinion and will tweak it until you are happy. Not every artist can do mature makeup well and I was BLOWN AWAY with how gorgeous our moms looked. SO natural and beautiful, it made for great photos. I got so many compliments and was event complimented on how I looked exactly the same by the end of the night. Needless to say, it lasted ALL DAY. I also appreciate that the trial cost was built into the total cost vs other places it's not. I will say to not expect too much from the facial/skincare side of things especially if you already go to an aesthetician. Although appreciated, that part for me ultimately was not necessary but solely because I am blessed with good skin & a good routine. It was what originally drew me to AM BEAUTY but maybe I was expecting too much? I was picturing a whole thing where they lay you down and do a mini facial which was not the case. I can see it being valuable for brides who have very little skin/makeup knowledge going in. I also wish the "extras" were just built into the cost as well and just get rid of the skincare box etc. to not be surprised with these popping up as an option when they send you your trial information. IMHO, waterproofing your makeup and long wear lashes should just be built into the cost as I'm sure most brides will want it anyways. All that being said, my experience was REALLY wonderful, and those little things were so minor in comparison with how happy I was with our results. Just trying to give an honest review in hopes you just book with them already! Can't thank them enough!!

I cannot say enough good things about Megan and AM Beauty! I’m a wedding photographer, I've photographed countless weddings with the AM Beauty Team over the years, their brides are always flawless so I knew when it was my turn to get married that they were my #1 choice. Before my wedding I thought hiring an HMUA meant they just show up on your wedding day and make you look a bit nicer than you’d be able to do yourself, and that's all there is to it. But that is only a small part of what AM Beauty provided me. Prior to my trial I was sent a questionnaire about my skin and hair type, about my insecurities, things I want covered, what I’m looking for with hair and makeup, etc. All of this goes into how Megan personalizes her service for each and every bride. During my trial I was blown away by Megan's knowledge of products and style, her ability to recreate looks from my Pinterest board, her advice and expertise was SO helpful when fine-tuning the little details and ways I wanted my hair to look. I quickly realized there was a lot more to their service than simply showing up and having a set of skills that I don’t have. Truly blown away by her wealth of knowledge in this area. When my trial ended I was sent home with a skin/hair care routine and box of products that Megan had picked out just for me to help with my dry skin for the weeks leading up to my wedding. These products are top of the line and my skin has never felt better! I had so many compliments on my shiny hair the week before my wedding all thanks to the care box. I had no idea this was included but what a great surprise. Its just another way Megan shows that she truly wants you to look your best on your wedding day. And then of course, on my wedding day Megan was on time, efficient, and made me look the best I think I’ve probably ever looked! For my wedding I hiked up a very steep mountain, I cried like crazy throughout the day (the good tears of course), I changed 3 times (in and out of my dress due to the hike), ate a sloppy burger and y’all, MY HAIR AND MAKEUP WAS PERFECT THE WHOLE DAY! That lasting spray for the makeup works wonders, I definitely recommend upgrading your package to it if its not included already. My false lashes never fell out, my hair stayed in place, the curls stayed in, nothing smeared when I cried. Throughout the entire process from booking to wedding day, Megan was easy to communicate with, paid close attention to the things I wanted while also offering advice for what might work best with my hair type and skin tones, she immediately feels like your best friend upon her arrival, and in so many ways went above and beyond for me, I can not recommend her enough!!

Alex at AM Beauty was amazing to work with! She is so talented and did an amazing job with me, my bridesmaids, and my mom. I would highly recommend her for wedding makeup, she made me feel absolutely beautiful!

I was very enticed to use AM Beauty for hair and makeup for my wedding because of the great reviews and inclusions from their website. When selecting hair and makeup, I really appreciated all the add on's that AM Beauty included in their packages (free mini facial during trial, take home kits worth over $200, extra artists to save time, etc.) Although they were the most expensive hair/makeup vendor I was looking at, I thought it would be well worth the money for everything that was included. With that being said, they unfortunately fell short in so many areas. To start, when I went in for my makeup trial I never received the "mini facial" that was included. When I asked about it, I was told that the makeup artist "forgot". I had a retrial for my makeup, because I was not satisfied during my first trial (She pretty much just copied the same makeup she was wearing instead of actually understanding and looking at my inspo photo). I went in for my second trial and the "mini facial" was a wipe down with a wet sponge, a toner pad, and some moisturizer. This is definitely not what I would consider a facial of any sorts. The box that I received that was stated to contain product with a $200+ value contained mostly sample items that you could buy at Ulta. It was not what I would consider high end or professional product and was absolutely not valued at over $200. The same thing went for my hair box that I received. It was a couple sample shampoo's and conditioners. When I went to pay the final invoice, they had added $500 in travel fees to my invoice. The reason for this was that the artists had to drive to the studio (in Lynnwood) the morning of my wedding to pick up their supplies and then drive out to my venue. The mileage price was based on travel from the studio to the venue and back. I questioned the owner with this because I spoke with the makeup artist and she explained that she lived close to my venue, and the owner insisted that she had to drive to the studio to grab her makeup and hair items the morning of. But, when she got to the venue, she mentioned multiple times that the drive wasn't bad because she lives close by and did not have to drive to the studio. Another thing to note is that this company will nickel and dime you for absolutely anything. God forbid someone who isn't getting their hair done needs to use a spray bottle or bobby pin, because they will charge you for it. I cannot count how many times they told me "Oh that is an extra price" or "You will have to pay for that". They even charge an additional $20 for setting spray, which should absolutely be included. I was told to find a lipstick that I like for touch ups throughout the day, even though their website says you will receive a touch up kit. I had to question the owner regarding the touch up kit in order to actually get one. Although their website makes it seem as if you are going to get a full luxury and relaxing experience, this truly is not the case. They did not go above and beyond in any aspect and did the bare minimum while being extremely overpriced. I was hoping that by paying a higher price, I would receive higher quality and this was absolutely not the case. The only reason I am giving them two stars is because the girl that did my hair and makeup (Alex) was a wonderful. She was extremely kind and was AMAZING at hair. My hair looked absolutely amazing (although I was never informed I would have to pay an extra $30 for two small hair pins until the day of, which I had to stop and pay during the craziness of getting ready on my wedding day) Unfortunately, the girls that work here are not professional hair and makeup artists. They are girls who have a hobby doing hair and makeup. I would recommend using an actual salon for your hair and makeup, and do not be enticed by their cute website and everything they claim to offer, because they will fall short and you will end up paying an ungodly amount for very basic service.

AM Beauty was an absolute JOY to work with. Their responsiveness, professionalism, expertise, and care for their jobs shows. My makeup and hair artist was Alex, plus 2 others and an assistant. With 7 girls for makeup and 8 for hair, we were able to get everyone done plus touch ups before they left in AMAZING timing. Alex had my makeup and hair perfect, without needing any touchups throughout the night. I would recommend them for anyone looking for hair and makeup on their wedding day.

I had the most amazing experience working with AM Beauty. Megan is on deck to ensure your needs are met and your vision comes to life. Amber is a true artist with make up and hair and I felt incredibly beautiful both at my trial and on my wedding day. I asked for Hollywood glam and I certainly felt on top of the world. Janet's incredible talent made my maid of honor look stunning as well. Truly an amazing experience that I will look back on fondly.

I felt like a second class citizen through this whole process. It felt like they did not give me the attention I deserved because I had a small wedding party. At my preview I was told my style could only be achieved through hair extensions agreeing to this as AM beauty is supposed to be the “experts”, I felt like they pushed me into this decision. I don’t feel like they listened to what I wanted even after I gave them plenty of detail and explained what I wanted in several emails. After purchasing two sets extensions AM still did not achieve the hairstyle I wanted on me but was able to on a new bride recently. This is after I expressed all of my hesitations in my many post preview emails. I was promised “Yes two sets will definitely help blend your natural hair without having to pull more hair back!” I think they do what they want instead of what you want. My wedding makeup (the bride) was so harsh and behind schedule. When asked “is it okay” when I’m already behind for my wedding what am I supposed to say?!? I will never get my wedding back and using AM beauty is a decision I will always regret. It is hard for me to even look at photos. Terrible experience. I recommend AM also follow up with brides post wedding in case they too feel reservations about coming forward.

AM Beauty was an easy choice for our wedding ! Planning our event from several states away was pretty daunting but working with Megan and her team (especially AMBER) made it painless. I had tons of questions and changes that they effortlessly handled. Having a trial was great and I felt so pampered. On the wedding day, our stylist Amber was so great and talented. My bridesmaids were about 30-45 mins behind getting to the venue and the AM Beauty stylist still got us all ready in time. I am so grateful for AM BEAUTY for being such pros and making me and all my girls feel beautiful and confident! 100% recommend this amazing team !

AM Beauty is the absolute best. I am so glad I hired them to take care of the hair and makeup for myself and eight other people for my wedding. Megan and her team were so organized and efficient, allowing them to complete the hair and makeup services for all eight people in under three hours! Megan did my hair and makeup. I felt like the most beautiful version of myself and was so pleased with how my hair and makeup turned out. Not only did my hair and makeup look great, but they lasted all through the wedding, including through a ton of tears and lots of dancing. The touch up kit that Megan gave me and everyone else was so thoughtful and helpful. Megan and her team are truly the best and I am so thankful for their hard work!

I can't believe how beautiful I looked and felt on the day of my wedding thanks to AM Beauty! First my makeup trial was so fun, I got to sip champagne while getting pampered. They provided me with a whole skincare set to keep my skin looking amazing before the wedding. Then on the day of the wedding they did an amazing job making us feel so beautiful. They did a great job both my glamourous look as well was the more mature looks of the mothers of the bride and groom. I highly recommend Alex, Megan, and their whole team!

AM Beauty is the best for bridal hair and make-up! My husband and I had our 10-year vow renewal on October 7th. I found AM Beauty through The Knot and I was blessed to have worked with Megan. Not only is she gorgeous, she is the sweetest human being ever! My bridal trial was divine – it was nice to be pampered and made up for the day. I’ve always been a tomboy and have never worn a lot of makeup. I gave her an idea of what I wanted in my hair and make-up and Megan made it happen! She was so easy to work with, explained everything along the way, and gave me a ton of tips to prep my face for the big day. On the day of our event Megan brought along a second stylist, Janet, for my mom and sister. Janet is also amazing. Despite all the big day nerves, I knew my hair and make-up were in great hands. Megan and Janet worked their magic, and we all looked and felt beautiful. The ladies are so great at what they do – amazing artistry and true professionals. If I ever needed to have another event that would require the same service, they would be my #1 choice. We highly recommend AM Beauty and would give them more stars if we could. Thank you AM Beauty!

Taylor with AM Beauty did my hair and makeup for my wedding day, as well as the hair and makeup for my two bridesmaids. I felt so beautiful! I don’t wear makeup day to day, so it was important to me that the makeup look natural. She totally nailed it. We had some issues with the long-wear lashes at my makeup trial, but I got an eyelash lift before my wedding and I think that helped - the fake lashes were perfect on my wedding day. I would absolutely hire AM Beauty again for hair and makeup - I was very happy with the end result! Thank you, Taylor!!!

I loved working with AM Beauty! Taylor was my lead stylist and she was wonderful! During my trial she eased my nerves right away! She listened to what I was looking for, was open to tweaks, and was so easy to be around. I left my trial knowing I was in good hands. Plus, the beauty goodie box after my trial was filled with such great products that I loved using leading up to my wedding. On the day of my wedding, the team showed up early to set up and kept us on schedule which helped the rest of the day flow as we hoped. Megan and her team are absolutely incredible. Megan is super responsive and also just SO MUCH FUN to hang with. My trial felt like I was hanging out with a friend I’ve known for years! Their structure of working in four hour chunks made planning and logistics super easy. And of course, my hair and makeup turned out incredible. Megan was so easy to work with and got me my dream look. 12/10 recommend!

I was very particular when looking for hair and make-up artists for my wedding day - and when I found AM Beauty I knew I had to book them! Taylor was my lead for my trial and wedding day and she was the sweetest! She made sure to listen to what I wanted and even adjust things as needed. At my trial, I was given a box of skincare products to use leading up to the wedding and now I cannot live without these products! The communication with the team was so easy and overall the experience was simple and seamless. I absolutely loved my hair and makeup on my wedding day and the team did incredible work on my bridesmaids and the Mother of the Bride & Groom. AM Beauty was a wonderful choice for my wedding hair and makeup, as well as hair and makeup for my bridal party and the mothers of the bride and groom. AM Beauty stylists showed up exactly on time and quickly rearranged our hotel room to be able to do hair or makeup for three of us at a time. Taylor and her crew of two others did 7 hair and 7 makeup services, including mine, in about 2 hours! Everyone looked great and my whole party was very happy with their H&M. I really enjoyed my trial with Taylor, she got to know me and my style and matched my makeup perfectly to my aesthetic. She was so accommodating and great when I wanted to change my hairstyle from my trial due to the weather. I highly recommend AM Beauty for your wedding, especially if you have a lot of people in your party!

Megan was incredible to have as my make up artist. You end up spending a lot of time with your make up artist day of, and Megan was so easy to talk to. She has a way of making you feel comfortable and connecting in meaningful ways. It was important to my fiancé that my makeup didn’t dramatically change the way I look. Megan did my makeup for my best friend's wedding. I usually don't like when other people do my makeup, but wow! It looked so good. I felt like I still looked like myself, but my BEST self. I was so happy with how it looked in pictures. She also took tons of precautions making sure everything was sanitized. I would highly recommend Megan!

Megan was efficient, organized, helpful, and followed all of the sanitation rules for covid. She did my makeup and hair and made me feel like a real life Disney princess. I wish I could post photos in here so you all could see! She also did my mothers and sisters hair and makeup. They also looked gorgeous ✨ I’m so thankful she could help us on our big day. She also created a timeline for our morning with a schedule for hair and makeup which was super helpful! Highly recommend!

MEGAN IS THE BEST!!!!! She was the MUA at a wedding I photographed a year ago, right off the bat she was super friendly and professional. Just after a few minutes of chatting she feels like your best friend, she makes everyone in the room feel comfortable and her work speaks for herself. Megan is incredibly talented with hair and makeup. From a photographer's perspective, the ladies looked fabulous not just in person but on camera as well (which not all MUAs know how to do). Since that wedding we have reconnected for a couple of stylized photoshoots. She's done an awesome job, she is easy to work with, and has made our models look and feel STUNNING. As a photographer, I will refer her 100 times over, and if I ever need beauty services I will for sure be going to Megan!

Megan from AM Beauty was AMAZING!!!! If you are still deciding who should help you look beautiful on your wedding day then look no further than AM Beauty! Megan and her team did my makeup for my wedding day, along with my 9 bridesmaids, MOB, Step-MOB, MOG, Grandmother and sister-of-groom (officiant!)! Megan helped me work on a timeline that made sense for this many people and helped me feel less stressed when planning the "getting ready" portion of our wedding day! We had a trial about a month before hand at her cutest studio and she worked with my inspiration photos, my skin preferences, etc. to make my bridal look. My face makeup was perfect but I wanted to make a couple tweaks to my eye makeup that we discussed and texted about, which she made even more perfect on the wedding day! I ended up also getting lash extensions with Megan the month before my wedding and again a couple days before and I'm SO glad I did! I love my lashes and am an emotional wreck at weddings, but I did not have to worry about my makeup on my wedding day. Megan finished all of our makeup by 1pm, our ceremony wasn't until 6pm and we partied until 1am (we had a New Year's Eve wedding!) and seriously, at the end of the night it looked like my makeup was still fresh! All of my ladies looked gorgeous and felt so beautiful - we all highly recommend Megan and AM Beauty!

Megan was phenomenal! She was so patient and kind in our trial and day of. As someone who doesn't wear makeup, she made me feel comfortable about how I looked. She was also extremely accommodating when I decided to switch my hairstyle. She made my bridesmaids look beautiful and with the products she uses, that stuff lasted!! She started at 8am and my bridesmaids' still looked magnificent 12 hours later. Thank you Megan. Truly. You and Alex were fantastic. She was so gentle while doing our hair; shes an awesome assistant! Also, thank you for the candle. That made me feel so special! If I EVER need any hair and/or makeup, I know who to trust.

Megan was wonderful! She is super down to earth so I felt super comfortable with her, which is always a plus when hiring for a wedding. I love the products that she uses! I am usually the type of girl that doesn't wear a lot of makeup so when I told her I wanted my makeup to look natural, she didn't disappoint! My makeup was on point, as well as my 3 bridesmaids. She also gave me a candle the day of that said "Mr. & Mrs. Carpenter" on it which I thought was just the sweetest thing in the world! She was a huge help in relieving my stress as well when I was freaking out prior to the ceremony. I can't stress it enough, she's the best! I also decided to hire one of Megan's hair stylists as well in order for everything to move a little smoother the day of. Leah was amazing! I had chosen a pretty complicated braided hairstyle and she was able to do it, no problems whatsoever! I got so many compliments on my hair on the big day! I absolutely recommend her if you're doing a hairstyle a bit out of the norm. Overall, Megan and her team are just absolutely spectacular! They will make everything so special for you and you won't regret booking them for your wedding!

I found Megan on theKnot. I wasn't sure about hiring her because she didn't have many reviews, but I can tell you that the number of reviews doesn't represent the quality of her work. First, she's very responsive and easy to work with. Second, I absolutely love her west coast hair and makeup style. We were married on the beach in Seabrook, and the light, natural looks she is so good at was perfect. She did hair and makeup for me (bride), 3 bridesmaids, and my mother. She was a pleasure the whole time, kept us on schedule, and everyone felt beautiful. Thanks Megan! I'd recommend you any day!

Megan was amazing from trial period to day of application! She was communicative, helpful and answered all of my bridezilla-ish questions... what more could a gal ask for!? The day of she was early, prompt and dealt with the typical day of craziness. My make up was FLAWLESS and I felt like a queen! My bridal party felt the same! It lasted from 10 AM as our ceremony was at 1, till the sun came up the next day! Her make up application is simply a work of art. Thank you for making me look and feel absolutely gorgeous on my special day ❤️

I loved working with Megan for my wedding hair and makeup! I even signed up for lash extensions with her a few months before my wedding which was a lot of fun and awesome. She is so easy to work with and the absolute sweetest person! I was very impressed with her hair and makeup skills and her rates! She is a one person team so we did have to start early for the wedding but it was totally worth it. My makeup and hair was how I wanted it and it lasted the whole night. I would definitely recommend her, as well as use her services again if I ever did a photoshoot or attended a big event.

Megan did an amazing job on the entire wedding party whether it was hair or makeup. She worked in a timely manner while making sure every detail was perfect. She is very knowledgeable and friendly! I would definitely hire her for my own wedding!

Megan and her team made getting ready for my wedding day so fun and easy! Her team was prepared, on schedule, and fun to work with. Everyone’s hair and makeup was great (and we are a picky group). I am currently living across the country and Megan worked with me to schedule a trial during my visit months in advance to accommodate my schedule. I’m a planner and it made me nervous to let everything be coordinated by someone else, but everything was coordinated perfectly. I only wish I lived closer so I could go to AM beauty for more of my skincare needs!
