Amanda is everything you want in a photographer and more! She was helpful every step of the way. From vendor recommendations to timelines, she’s your girl. She was reassuring through the process of planning a wedding and had advice to make everything run smoothly. Communication is key and Amanda was so timely and responsive. She really helped to ease all of our concerns. On the day of the wedding, Amanda took charge when we needed her and made sure everything went as planned. Her direction and artistic eye while taking photos led to the most beautiful photos. She is truly an artist behind the lense and our photos speak highly to that. My fiance and I work with Amanda for our engagement photos. She is an absolute gem, I would recommend working with her in a heartbeat! I have not worked with a film photographer before, and her expertise clearly shows in her work. We felt incredibly comfortable around Amanda, she is easy to work with and it is obvious her clients' satisfaction is her main goal. Her engagement package typically includes 25 photos, but she ended up generously gifting us the entire gallery! My only less-than-absolutely-ideal comment is that even though we were gifted the entire gallery, because Amanda shot with film (instead of digital)I felt like she did not take as many overall photos during our session. However, of the photos we received, there was not a single one we didn't love.

Amanda was amazing to work with! We had a maternity shoot that needed to be rescheduled TWICE due to weather and she was so sweet about rescheduling and working around our schedules also. During the shoot she was super easy to work with and gave great direction that made us feel much more comfortable in front of the camera. Amanda also made sure we got all the images we wanted as well! When we received our images, we were completely in love! They were everything we wanted and more. We now have gorgeous images to document such a brief and special time in our lives! I can't recommend her more and would love to work with her again.

I am so happy to have worked with Amanda for our engagement shoot! I had never been to Georgia before so I had no idea where to go for photos, but after talking to her and letting her know my vision she helped us pick the perfect place. My husband and I chose Amanda to do both our engagement photos and our entire 8-10 hour wedding day after meeting with several local wedding photographers. We chose her simply because her photos were the highest quality, she had the best attitude and made us feel as though she was capable of handling the event without question. She handled herself as a professional, and made sure that our contract was very clearly outlined while staying friendly and charismatic. As we got closer to the wedding day she was willing to adjust the schedule she had written for us to better fit our needs/desires. She stayed flexible, and did her best to work with the chaos that is a wedding day. Throughout the day she made her presence barely noticeable yet when we received our Gallery after the holidays it was as though Amanda and her assistant were everywhere at once! Because of the chaos on the wedding day, myself and my husband were a little discouraged that we hadn't received enough photos of a specific moment. Amanda understood this fact, rechecked all the photos she had developed of our wedding and did more than she had to in order to ensure our satisfaction.

I'm left speechless after seeing the photographs Amanda Berube took of my amazing man & myself. The photographs capture the emotions of our relationship. Amanda was absolutely incredible throughout our entire planning/wedding process. From the moment we got engaged, I knew I wanted her to photograph us. We even changed our wedding date so that she could do it. We live in Maine and Amanda was very accommodating as to when she would fly up here from Georgia and take our engagement photos. She was easy to get in contact with during the time leading up to them, even going as far as to helping me with my wardrobe. She made us feel very comfortable during those which was great because my fiancé was pretty nervous and doesn't like having his picture taken. When it came to the wedding, she was in contact with me the whole time telling me things that I needed to do and asking if she could help in any other way possible. We didn't have a wedding planner so she offered to come and help us out the night of the rehearsal dinner to keep us all organized. The day of the wedding she showed up early and got right down to business keeping us all on the timeline we wanted to be on. She was extremely professional and worked well with my other vendors. She kept us on time all day/night and photographed everything we wanted. At the end of the night, she was about to leave and we hadn't taken one of the pictures that I REALLY wanted. I told her it was okay, it was too much of a hassle - and she went out of her way to make sure this photograph was taken even though I'm sure she was exhausted and it was past her time limit. We got our pictures back about a week ago and we are so in love with them. She captured all of the important moments and then some (and with such high quality!) I would recommend Amanda to EVERYBODY!

Amanda is amazing!! She saved the day when we hit a little bump in the road with the first photographer we had hired. We Skyped with Amanda and my husband and I thought she was the sweetest person; she also was extremely knowledgeable about photography and weddings and we loved her work! It was a no-brainer to hire her! On the day of the wedding Amanda was professional, calm, helpful, and wonderful to work with. Her second shooter was as well! My husband jokes that Amanda is a all-in-one photographer, because she did so much more than just take pictures. She clearly has lots of experience and was there to guide us when our wedding coordinator was elsewhere taking care of something. She had never been to our venue before (we live in WA), but she was able to scope out spots and find different places to take pictures. Our pictures turned out beautiful and exactly what we were hoping for! She knows how to capture light and moments perfectly. If you're looking for an extremely talented photographer who is clearly passionate about her work, Amanda is your girl.

My husband and I had SUCH an amazing wedding day and I couldn't have asked for a more perfect day, however, the day DOES come to an end VERY quickly and all you have left is the pictures and the memories. When we received our pictures we were beyond pleased as we felt the pictures described our day perfectly. When my husband and I started listing out the vendors we needed for our wedding, hands down, photography was our number one priority. Both my mother and my older sister had issues where their wedding photos didn't turn out and I was determined to break this family curse. I interviewed a handful of photographers in my area (Columbus, GA) and Amanda was one of them. She showed up to our meeting with a book showcasing her work, talked about her style of shooting, and mentioned past clients by name (which was such a special touch, that yes she remembered the venue where she shot certain photos, but she gushed about the couple as well). She was professional and yet I also felt like I was meeting a good friend for coffee and catching up on life. Win win. Amanda quickly calmed my fears of my family curse, explained how she works, that she offers a 2nd shooter, and talked about her equipment. She even offered ideas for color combos and was so excited to talk details for a winter wedding. I knew I found the right photographer. On our wedding day, Amanda was a dream come true! She stayed calm and professional throughout the day, but without being stiff; we felt so comfortable with her. Not only that, she genuinely appeared to be having a good time. And since she had a good time, I feel like that rubbed off on everyone else too. It's obvious she loves what she does, and her talent speaks for itself. Oh, and she showed up with a wooden hanger for my dress to use for the 'dress shot'! What a nice touch that I didn't even think about. I'm thrilled my husband suggested we get a photo with her and her second shooter, Jess, because they were such an important part of our day! We got our photos back 5 weeks from the date, an online gallery, and we'll be getting the USB in the mail soonish. Amanda posted a preview on her facebook page the day after our wedding...our family and friends went crazy for those photos! It was such a beautiful surprise for the day after. One of my friends suggested I journal about our wedding before I get the photos back, because I would remember it differently from the highlights in the photos. (Which is actually brilliant advice and I"m glad I did it) However, looking through the photos, it was exactly how I remembered our special day. She completely captured the romance and the joy of the day. I 100% recommend Amanda as a photographer. She is incredibly talented, a romantic, calm & professional, and very friendly and easygoing. If she was stressed at all during my wedding day, I didn't see it for a second. Without Amanda, I don't think our wedding would have been the perfect day that it was.

My fiancé and I had our engagement shoot with Amanda. She was absolutely wonderful to work with. Very open, professional, friendly and flexible. Due to her easy-going personality she makes people feel comfortable and not judged (especially if you're like me and my fiancé and not too confident in front of the camera). Her prices are very reasonable and she offers excellent, high quality photos. You cannot go wrong with Amanda. On top of these wonderful qualities, Amanda went out of her way to squeeze in our engagement session before leaving on a trip to Washington, after our initial date scheduled had rained out. Amanda is wonderful!! She was a absolute pleasure to work with! She went above and beyond and helped us with so much. For our wedding we had to walk about a mile for where I wanted to take some pictures. It was a very humid day and Amanda was awesome and her team had all of their equipment. They took it all in stride and were extremely positive about everything. On top of that her photos were extremely beautiful and we couldn't be any happier.
