Amanda is an absolute gem to work with! I found Amanda through the "Anti-Bride" website, which features the weddings of "untraditional" brides. I kept coming across the same kind o...
f photographers with galleries full of staid, overly-posed shots, and I wondered if hiring a photographer was even for us. It was all so sterile and seemed to be all about capturing a certain “look” for social media, not the actual *feeling* of a wedding. Then I saw Amanda's photography. Her work is full of heart and warmth and captures the perfectly imperfect bits of weddings—the raucous laughter, the blurriness of a cake cutting after lots of champagne, and the wilting-yet-somehow-more-beautiful bouquets at the end of the night. We had an intimate wedding —just 40 guests—and she fit right in with our close friends and family. We loved her candid, documentary style, and that she could get the classic family shots, but also make beautiful, artful pictures on film. She was the fun, laidback complement to our type-A personalities during the planning process, and we’re still so in love with how all the photos turned out. If you want photos that capture the heart and real FEELING of your wedding, Amanda is your gal!!
Amanda was such a joy to work with for our engagement shoot and wedding. I gave her my vague vision and she executed it flawlessly. She has such an amazing artistic instinct, whil...
e at the same time being so fun and easy to talk to which makes working with her a breeze. I’m usually nervous in front of a camera and had never really done a formal photo shoot before, but Amanda really put us at ease and gave directions that allowed for some really amazing shots.
Wow, where to even start. If you want TRULY unique photographs that are not only visually beautiful but can transport you back to all of the emotions of your wedding day in an inst...
ant, hire Amanda. Her work is simply magical. She has the unique ability to seemingly be 20 places at once, without being intrusive or orchestrating any “moments”. I hardly noticed her taking them, yet when we got our pictures back I was stunned at how well she captured the many beautiful little moments between my friends and family. She is easy to work with, and a joy to have at your celebration. Her warmth and energy comes through in her work. I give her my highest recommendation ❤️❤️
Amanda is an incredibly talented photographer, we hired her for our engagement photos and she put as at immediate ease. Neither of us had ever really had a professional photoshoot ...
before and she made us feel so comfortable in her presence. She truly captured our love and the photos came out magical, it was such a special experience. The photos were edited beautifully and in a timely manner and Amanda was a complete professional.
