Amanda made sure our ceremony told our story and was personalized to fit both of our personalities. She gave us all of the tools to make our ceremony special, unique and unforgett...
able. She was extremely responsive and receptive to our ideas and vision for our big day. Our guests loved our personalized ceremony that told our story as a couple. It was the perfect mix of laughter, tears, and smiles through every moment. Highly recommended if you are looking for a personalized, unique ceremony that tells a beautiful story.
We were so pleased with our experience working with Amanda! She’s such a kind person and very easy to talk to. We had one in-person meeting before we booked her to make sure that w...
e meshed well together, and that she understood what we wanted out of our ceremony (no religion - just a ceremony about us, our love story, and the commitment we were making to each other). She understood our vision, completely customized our ceremony script, and we were able to edit it to our hearts’ content. She sent us an in-depth questionnaire to fill out so she could get to know us better before writing the script as well. I got my own questionnaire and my now husband got his own. She recommended we don’t look at each others’ answers so to not influence our own. Then, using our answers she crafted the perfect, personalized ceremony for us. You could tell she’s done many weddings before, as she was poised and thoughtful in the way she spoke throughout the ceremony. In the months leading up to the wedding she was very quick to answer any questions I emailed her with about the ceremony, and even questions about the marriage license process. Thank you, Amanda, for making our ceremony so special, and the whole process so easy!
I'm so thankful that I found Amanda and was able to book her for my wedding! She has the most relaxing voice I've ever heard which really made me feel as though it was just me and ...
my husband in the room. The ceremony she wrote was so personal, funny, and full of love. She even gave us a cheat sheet that made writing our vows so easy. Overall Amanda helped make our day extra special and I wish I booked a videographer so I could watch it again. Multiple family members came up to us after the ceremony to say how amazing Amanda and the ceremony were. If Amanda is free for your wedding, I 100% recommend you have her perform your ceremony.
Amanda was great! She took such time and care to get to know us and make our ceremony personalized and special. She brought humor, sentiment, and creativity to our ceremony. She wa...
s easy and pleasant to work with and we couldn’t have been more pleased with our special day.
Amanda is an amazing officiant. She has great empathy and emotional intelligence and maybe even more importantly, extremely good communication skills.
My fiancée initially wanted ...
to have a friend or acquaintance officiate so that our officiant would know us “better than a stranger” but from our first meeting with Amanda, Amanda’s professionalism and incredible ability to respect and understand our needs dispelled all of my fiancée’s fears and we both knew that we found the right person.
Amanda uses questionnaires with very thoughtful questions to understand how our relationship came to be and what our hopes and dreams are for our marriage. She also is very thoughtful and communicative about what our goals and vision for the ceremony are. She then used our answers to these questions to craft a beautiful ceremony that was even better than what we had hoped. Because we requested it, she also provided us a script of the ceremony almost a week beforehand so that we knew exactly what she would be saying (we wrote our own personal vows in addition).
The ceremony itself was truly beautiful. I don’t know how else to describe it. When I read the script Amanda emailed, I wept because it really showed what our commitment to each other and relationship mean to us. This was so important to us because we are both women and our wedding would have been the first same sex marriage in both families. Amanda told our story beautifully and I was told that there was not a dry eye in the room. After the ceremony, our friends and family kept asking who Amanda was because everyone thought she must have been a very close friend.
Thank you so much, Amanda.
I highly recommend Amanda without any reservations and would also add that if you are on the fence about hiring an officiant, please consider meeting with Amanda before you decide.
Amanda was fantastic! Not only did she incorporate so many personal touches into the ceremony, we loved the ability to chose our own vows. She was extremely responsive with any que...
stions we had during the wedding planning process. All of the guests at our wedding kept telling us that they really enjoyed our ceremony, saying it was the best that they’ve ever been to! Thank you Amanda for making our day even more special!

ar with! She got to know my husband and I each individually and was able to weave a beautiful story together to share with our friends and family. She was always available, I never had any trouble getting in touch with her, which assured me that the ceremony was a part of the whole wedding process I could have total faith in. And it was beautiful, personal, and just what we asked for. No surprises, no concerns, just perfect. And it’s the most important part of the whole day! Couldn’t have asked for anyone better for the job! Thanks Amanda <3
My fiancé and I wanted a non-religious ceremony but also wanted our relationship to show through in our ceremony. Amanda went above and beyond. By answering questionnaires about ea...
ch other, she crafted a ceremony that was beyond perfect for us. It was also a pleasant surprise to see how the other person answered the questions to shape the ceremony. Amanda answered all my questions and made me feel so much better about any fears or concerns for day of. Our introductory call was so calming and I felt like I had known her forever. I couldn’t suggest anyone more for a Justice of the Peace. If you are looking for someone to deliver a ceremony that is anything less than cookie cutter, Amanda is your girl!
Amanda is so great! We were planning a relatively small wedding (80 people at a restaurant), but knew we wanted someone professional, comfortable speaking in front of a group, and ...
who could help is write our vows / ceremony -- Amanda was all of those things and more. She sent us a short answer questionnaire to help understand our relationship, thoughts about marriage and ideas for our future. She gave us a written draft of the ceremony in full about a week before the wedding, and it was perfect. I could not have written it better myself. I am so glad we choose Amanda for our wedding ceremony and would highly recommend to anyone looking for an celebrant/officiant!

y manner. She sent myself and my husband questionnaires to fill out, and without ever meeting us in person, was able to create a ceremony that so completely captured who we are. I read these same reviews while I was searching for an officiant, and so many couples said that after their ceremony guests had commented that it was the best ceremony they had ever seen. I can honestly say that this happened- MANY times!! Amanda's voice is calm, soothing, and perfectly captured our story with both laughter and tears. I could go on and on and on, but most importantly- you will be forever grateful for hiring Amanda to perform your ceremony!

ceremony could not have been put together more perfectly and she really let our love story be told for all our guests to hear. Our guests raved about how amazing and beautiful the ceremony was from start to finish, and are also glad that we had sunglasses for favors so they could hide the tears! We would 100% recommend Amanda to anyone looking to get married. She is very passionate about her work and you will not be disappointed.
I am so happy that we chose to work with Amanda as our wedding officiant. From the beginning, she was pleasant, helpful, and extremely responsive. We wanted something short, sweet,...
and personal – she exceeded all of our expectations! Amanda sent us both questionnaires to learn a little bit about our relationship and what we value in each other. From there, she wrote the perfect ceremony script that was funny, sweet, and just so perfect that I am keeping a copy of it forever. Amanda helped us line up before the wedding and set us all at ease. She has a wonderful speaking voice and the way she carried herself you would have thought she was an old family friend. Amanda was the perfect combination of professional and down to earth, I couldn’t have asked for a more perfect ceremony!

fit us perfectly.
From our first meeting and all of the emails leading up to the big day Amanda was quick to respond and helpful in answering all of our questions. We were having a hard time writing our own vows but Amanda came to the rescue with sharing her tips.
Our ceremony was delivered eloquently and her calming voice made it feel as though it was just the two of us up there. I would highly recommend Amanda to anyone looking for a ceremony that is made especially for you and told from the heart. My only wish was to have been able to say goodbye to Amanda, give her a hug and say THANK YOU!
Amanda was fantastic to work with. Very friendly and down to Earth, she understood that we are not religious but rather wanted our ceremony to reflect our personal belief systems ...
about love, life, and friendship. She gave us a great template to help us write our vows, and she crafted a ceremony based on our personalities and our story of meeting, falling in love, and making it to the altar! Everyone said it was one of the best ceremonies they had ever witnessed, and I think that's because it was so genuine. Thank you Amanda!!
We very much appreciated Amanda's guidance, experience and professionalism. She wrote and officiated a beautiful ceremony for our July 2014 wedding. The ceremony was personal and...
reflected our style. Our guests continue to comment on how special our it was.
I found Amanda through internet searches and I reached out to her, really liked her personality and her fees were reasonable. We met with her and went over possible ceremony ideas....
She is great to work with and made our ceremony personal. Afterwards she gave us a copy of our ceremony to keep (which I love).
I highly recommend her!
